These guys are knowledgeable and much more helpful in meeting your needs than the average gun shop around. I was particularly concerned with finding the best deal for my pistol and was pleasantly surprised how determined they were to help me with that. They have better methods for ordering hard to find guns so if your looking for something other shops said is unavailable, best to check with these guys. Great doing business with these guys, I highly recommended them.

The staff was so kind and helpful to me, as I went inquiring as to the best gun for a «Granny Oaklie» to purchase. They showed me the different revolvers and let me feel them in my own hands. I came to the conclusion that the Ruger LCR was perfect for me and my grip. They know their business and I recommend them wholeheartedly!

Great service. Helpful, courteous and knowledgeable staff that never talk down to you or try to push you into buying anything.
They did a little custom trigger work for me. I got the rifle back three weeks ahead of the estimated four week wait. The trigger is much better than anticipated.

Nice Little Shop that has Friendly and Knowledgeable staff. I try to stop by whenever I’m in Selma and I always seem to buy something when I do. Prices are reasonable. Go check em’ out, I’m sure you’ll be pleased.

Let me start by saying I buy a lot of firearms throughout the year. I hate gun stores. They’re usually employed by arrogant know-​it-​alls that bloviate how smart they are and how stupid you are.
Central Valley Guns is the exception. Marvin and Joe are the best at asking questions, finding what you need, and even sharing a story or two. They really do listen to you… and if you ask their opinion they will give it without being rude or rolling their eyes like you’re an idiot for asking it. They go out of their way to even answer emails! (Most gun shops ignore emails in case you don’t know).
They’re a small shop but they have a nice mix of consignment and new guns… most of all they can get most anything you want within reason… this is California.

Nice, modern, clean, and well stocked shop. Customer service is superb. Shop personnel are friendly, clean-​cut, and knowledgeable. Recently stopped in to conduct a private party transfer (PPT) of a firearm. As soon as we walked in the front door we were greeted with a smile and a friendly hello and welcome. This set the tone for the business we were about to conduct. Paperwork was quickly completed and hassle free. I’ll be coming back in the future. Central Valley Guns definitely earned my respect and future business.

If your looking for great service or question about purchasing firearms, this place is it! They offer good prices and will give you competitive prices from other dealers here in the Central Valley. If your ever in the area ask for Marvin, he has always been helpful anytime I swing by the shop. They take the time to listen and help. Although they are slightly smaller then most gun shops around, they will pretty much try to assist on any issue or question regarding firearms and safety.

For the casual shooter, Central Valley Guns can get you up or keep you shooting. For the beginner, they are an incredible wealth of knowledge. For the advanced shooters, there are plenty of stories to share and tips to be traded.
They may not be the ‘flashy’ or a huge gun store, they are the most knowledgeable, helpful, customer-​oriented store in town. Been to the others around the Fresno area but seems to me the smaller ones are way better than the snobby big ones.
What they don’t have on the shelves, they can normally get for you. Their service may seem slow, but it’s because they practice customer service and believe in building relationships with their patrons, not just getting the wallet open! If you’re just looking to buy a gun, you can go anywhere, if you want to make an investment, this is the place.
I bought a rifle for a perfect price and were really knowledgeable in areas I am rusty but not the other I am a satisfied customer. Oh and by the way they do offer Duracoat and Cerokote firearm painting services for those who are tired of black on your babies.
