Northeastern Masonry & Chimney

Not sure how this company got some of it’s good reviews. Fact is I asked them for an estimate on a chimney repair. Only thing I never got it. 7 weeks later and many follow ups and I am still waiting. Every week I was told I would get it soon. Not once have they bothered to call or email me. I initiated all contacts. The latest excuse is that they are very busyv. Why in the world would I give a company who can’t even get a quote out in 7 weeks any work? I would stay far away from them.

I had an extremely difficult time with Northeastern Masonry and Chimney. We selected and paid for a new fireplace in February, and the job was only completed in October. Over the course of those eight months, this company visited my home on five separate occasions, and was unable to complete the job in a timely fashion. Each time, they reported that they did not have the proper equipment to install the fireplace.
Despite the long delay between starting the job and finishing it, this company was rude and unapologetic. In order to get them to complete the work for which they had been paid, I had to call them weekly. Each time, the person who answered the phone promised that I would receive a call from the person who reportedly handles the equipment, although those calls never came. In fact, I was made to feel that the fact that I wanted to see the job for which I had paid finished in a timely, competent fashion made me irritating to the company.

Great job putting a new brick chimney on our home. Frank and Will showed great skill and care in their work. The chimney looks great and the fireplace (which had not been used in 60 years) works wonderfully.

Last time we had the chimney and woodstove stack swept, the other guy was in and out in 20 minutes. But we called Northeastern this time on a recommendation from a friend. These guys are awesome! They came in and explained what they were doing, showed us what they were talking about and did not leave a speck of dust! Friendly and knowledgeable. Will definately use them again. Highly recommended!

They arrived on time, quickly went to work and did a great job. They left everything cleaner than they found it. I would use them again.

Always friendly, prompt, professional service. They arrive on time, and get the job done. Would have no one else. Highly recommended.
