I actually really enjoyed BJ’s. We ate along the street on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. It’s located in a really cute town and had a lot of options on their menu. I found quite a few things I wanted to order and it was hard to decide. I landed on the Chesapeake Burger and fries. It was a burger, with a crab cake, and sauce on top. I loved it! My boyfriend had the pulled pork sandwich and said it was good. I’d definitely go back here again, although I don’t think I’d enjoy eating indoors. I walked through to use the restroom and it wasn’t much to write home about. Lots of tables though!

We go to BJ’s every opportunity we get. BBQ platter and the iced tea is BF’s favorite and mine is the house salad with bongo bongo dip on grilled chicken. Service has always been great.

Very nice. The oyster should choose the first cold one 2.95 each. The baked should choose the baked clam 1.5 each. Plus the regular coffee and green beans sides. Nice afternoon you will have. Enjoy ~~(**)

My wife and I travel 10 months out of the year. Our dinner was fantastic, Krista our server was very attentive and vivacious. Would highly recommend this Resturant and will return again when we visit this area.

very disappointed! haven’t been there in years, so looking forward to their famous Ribs and the best BBQ sauce. Wow was I disappointed! Ribs were dry & had so must seasoning on them they crunched, The sauce was TERRIBLE! what happened to the original bbq? My med rare steak arrived way past well done. Server was great, friendly etc and took care of getting a new steak, however till it came, we finished our meals, had to take most of it home. The steak also had so much seasoning on it it crunched when you bit into it! Seriously, great meat doesn’t need anything, Why so heavy with the spices? PLEASECLEANYOURRESTAURANT. ENTRANCESTINKS!

ordered the ribs which were brined and tasted like smoked ham. would prefer plain tender pork rib not ham flavor. salmon was excellent, moist flavorful, coconut rice and gr beans nicely prepared. waitresss timley service good. large restaurant in need of a good cleaning throughout. Nice variety of beer and menu selections.

Have been going here for decades. It is truly hit or miss. Service is usually my only complaint. So slow and poorly timed. Things seem to be improving though.

It was okay. Not a top pick. Nachos was a lot of chips and very little pork. Steak was okay not spectacular. Waiter never asked if we needed drink refill. Pricey!

We love the old building and it has a nice atmosphere. We enjoyed the pork BBQ nachos & we both had the Chicago steak sandwich & fries. The nachos were simple but tasty: tortilla chips, cheese, white beans, & smoky sweet pork BBQ w/a side of homemade salsa. The steak had great flavor & the salsa(creamy sauce) was good on it; maybe no cheese next time(add-on) since pretty rich, but the roll was soft & nice. If u like oysters it looks like a good selection, & they had a couple craft beers.

Great place to go when visiting my Susquehanna university student. The place needs a bit of clean up, but the device is good and the food is decent.

We split the nachos and they were amazing. We never thought about pulled pork nachos. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was excellent. The garlic mashed potatoes were from scratch and out of this world. My Philadelphia born fiancé thought the steak sandwich was awesome. Different than a Philly steak but very good… actual steak cut up a long roll. We will stop again if we are ever in the area. Highly recommended.

I give three stars for the clam chowder alone, even though they only have an 85% accuracy rate with it. The food is inconsistent and overpriced for that fact — if they charged you less on their off days, it would almost be perfection. My advice: you will enjoy this, but you can do better.

The Bongo Bongo dip is a must. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. They also have killer wings. Wing night is every night! When Susquehanna University is in session, it becomes very crowded on weekends. However, when school is out, it’s quiet. Service is a hit or miss. It really depends on who your waiter/waitress is. They have a raw oyster bar available during evening weekend hours. The outdoor seating is lovely in the summer. Overall BJ’S is a great place to dine. The food is delicious and the portion size is more than generous. I moved away from Selinsgrove and miss it everyday! Remember… get the Bongo Bingo dip.

I absolutely love bj’s it’s amazing. I enjoy it every time. Its worth the money. They have amazing food and service. It you don’t like it and have a bad review your crazy. If u don’t like the service there is countless reasons why. Here is why busy, takes a wile for the food to cook. And they have other reasons why they are slow. And if u are looking for their help, don’t discriminate or judge them they are busy

An OK restaurant with good food. The environment is very loud and smelly. It either smells like stale beer, seafood or perhaps the restroom. Maybe ok if intoxicated. Not a serious restaurant geared more towards the college kids.

What a find in a small town. The seafood is fresh(try the oysters they were fresh and delicious!) Ribs are ok(I smoke my own meats and work in Texas a lot — so I am picky about BBQ) strong drinks and good draft selection. Servers are a little inattentive(why they get 4 and not 5 stars) I ate here 5 times in 3 weeks — great food! a little pricey but the quality is well worth it. Parking is off-site

Greeted quickly and reservation was found. We were sat in the bar area, however, which became SO loud by the end of the meal we couldn’t even talk across the table with the three of us. The food was so-so. Not the best flavor for the steak I had and terrible presentation — well, non-existent really.

Terrible fried oysters. Barbecue combo was dry. Food way overpriced cold fries, overall bad meal & we won’t return. Disappointment for a meal that should have been much better.

Live almost 2 hours away and will be going back tomorrow, 2 weeks ago stopped with my sister. We got the fried Oysters which were out of this world with flavor, could tell they were fresh, The fries and coleslaw that came with it were excellent! The Rolls oh my the The Rolls, were Hot out of the oven and soo soooo good, wanted more but had to save room for the Oysters. The Fickles were good too. Will not get an appetizer next time because I will need room for the entrée. Want to try the Ribs, STeak, Soups, oh my, will have to make many trips. I am a fan. You all go there and give it a try, you will not be disappointed. More expensive than your fast food chains, but worth every penny and we have to drive 2 hours to get there. It is worth the extra cost and I don’t care because sometime you deserve to treat yourself. Go and See for yourself!

We’ve been here several times and used to frequent the Danville location for happy hour until it burned down a few months ago. Nevertheless, the food, service and drinks are all very good. Lots of options on the menu for people who like seafood, red meat, chicken or salads. Great downtown atmosphere as well!
