Tried this place out today. Should have trusted our gut and the fact that there were two cars in the parking lot and gone somewhere else. Service was fine. I ordered the Texas breakfast. Two eggs, hashbrowns, toast and bacon. Everything was good except for the bacon. It was cold and tasted like it had been cooked yesterday. I told the server who was happy to replace it, with the exact same story. It was inedible. It would have been great to chop up and put on a salad or baked potato. No compensation. Barbacoa plate, Texas breakfast, one coffee and one tea $ 22. We can get the same thing at one of 100 other places in town for about $ 15. Do yourself a favor and keep driving till you get to one of those places. We sure will.

Ordered Pozole to go. Nothing more irritating than asking for salsa, being told yes, it’s in the bag, and then getting home and there is no salsa, cause they have the best ever salsa. The Pozole, it was okay, just really missed the salsa. $ 7.03 for a small is just too much for a bowl of hominy and a few pieces of fatty pork.

The family and I went for breakfast. The service wasn’t what I expected. The waiters service was very bad had my coffee spilled on me at least it was cold not hot like it should be. The food was under cooked. We didn’t leave a tip and our food behind.

The food here is alright with some beer is better. They need to improve their refried beans. Their tripas are good crispy if you like that way. Also, the green chicken enchiladas need improvement. It had chunks of chicken in red sauce not shredded chicken with green/white sauce.

Stopped here with my girl because she has been craving a shrimp cocktail so we decided to give it a go. We’re new to the area and come from a city where we have great Mexican food. When we walked in we felt like we were back home. This restaurant is nothing fancy but looked promising. The chips and salsa were pretty tasty and everything on the menu looked and sounded delicious. I decided to go with«la torta cubana» which is basically breaded meat with a slice of ham and white cheese. It was ok, the meat was thin and a little on the dry side. My girl got a shrimp cocktail which was loaded with tons of shrimp! Which is a definite plus! The downside? The cocktail runs at 10 dollars for a large which is kind of expensive to what we’re used to but the amount of shrimp totally made it worth it. Overall this place was good but not top notch. If you feel like a little mexican grub try it out.

I LOVE this taqueria! Every time I come back to visit my family I have to come here. Don’t walk in with high expectations of class — it’s a low budget place. You walk in, sit down, place your order and then eat your food. They have Mexican TV playing and the servers will speak Spanish to you(unless you ask them not to). I enjoy the breakfast taco special — it’s a cheap easy way to fill up in the morning on your way to work. I usually get papas rancheras. For the record, the Torta Cubana is very good.

Really really good chunky salsa. I bought some To Go. Started with some good chips, and had Chicken Fajita Quesadilla. Yummy! I’ll be back.

I love this place. The hot sauce is chunky pico that is addictive. The chips are fresh. The food is always good. I recommend the quesadillas, gorditas, and chalupas. My son loves the Mexican shrimp cocktail it is huge and delicious. I have frequented this place for five years now and never have I been unhappy.
