Seiler’s Christmas Tree Farm

We drove an hour out to Seiler’s today and unfortunately left without a tree. The trees offered are young and small. If you are looking for something under 6 feet, that is not very full, then there were options; however, if you want a 7 ft or larger, full tree, then this is not the farm for you this year. Hopefully they allow some of the farm to mature so there are more offerings a year from now. The trees are pre-​tagged and pre-​priced. They provide a saw for cutting and a hand cart for transporting back to where you pay and the trees are shaken out and bundled. It is a small, family owned farm. Do not expect an agritainment experience. As there are only 2 other options in the Greater San Antonio area, we may return some day, but we truly hope they allow their trees to grow to full size. We believe a selection of full, mature, 7 to 9 ft trees is a must.

We tried out several Christmas tree farms before finding Seiler’s and having our official tradition begin every year! They have a large selection of different types of trees and a little play area that my boys always love to play on for a few minutes before we hustle around the property to find the perfect tree!
The best part? At least in my kids opinion is that they get a candy cane as we leave!

A little out of the way but a great family tradition. We love going each year after Thanksgiving to pick out our tree, cut it down and bring it home. They have several different types of trees and have saws and wagons to get your tree back to the car. They shake out extra needles and bag the tree to make it easier to load. It is a family owned business and they do a great job each year.
