Really excellent! There are only a couple authentic Szechuan places near Providence and this is one. It’s delicious. If you are ordering for the first time, get the dumplings(number 8) and definitely order from the Szechuan part of the menu.

Interesting place to say the least. Located on Route 6 in Seekonk across from the shopping centers — a little hidden. There is a parking lot but is limited space. You could say it’s pretty authentic Chinese with options like frog legs and pig kidneys on the menu. This isn’t your typical Chinese American joint but they do have an «American» section on the backside of the menu. Our waiter brought out a nice hot pot of green tea that I really liked. You just never know what kind of tea you’re going to get so I was pleasantly surprised. And sad to say, our waiter informed us that they did not have any fish or frogs available, lol. We ordered the fried dumplings and the Ox Tongue/Tripe in a peppery sauce for apps. The dumplings weren’t bad but the dipping sauce tasted very vinegary — the tongue/tripe concoction wasn’t bad, decent flavor with a bit of heat but came as a cold app vs. hot — I prob wouldn’t order again. My bf didn’t see anything that appealed to him off the Sizechuan Specials, so he ordered the General Tso’s dinner combo that came with fried rice and a soup. Based on the waiter’s recommendation, I ordered the smoked pork with sprouts of garlic. His meal was pretty typical Chinese American and he was happy with it — however the hot and sour soup was VERY sour — way too sour than either of us would like. The smoked pork had a nice flavor and you could def taste the smokiness but there was an abundance of celery and scallions which I didn’t care for. It didn’t come with a side of rice so I ordered to accompany my meal. Overall, it was interesting here and I wouldn’t mind coming back but may just stick to the Chinese American fare or maybe try their hot pot. For authentic Chinese, I’d prob go elsewhere.

The food tastes fantastic and the service is great. I felt like I was family. Very courteous service. My waiter even brought me some samples of freshly cooked spiced chicken to try«after I ordered». Now that’s service. As for my meal, I ordered the ordinary Garlic Chicken Combo and let me tell you, it was far from ordinary. I was more than satisfied with the portion size, the egg roll was crunchy, fresh and flavorful. The chicken was sliced nice and thin, it was fresh, the veggies crisp and the sauce was delicious. Saving the best for last, the fried rice is hands down, the best tasting fried rice around. It’s extremely flavorful, loaded with pork, egg, onions and flavor. I don’t know how to best explain other than it just tasted a little smokey, like it was cooked in a hot seasoned wok. If my belly would allow it, I would have ordered a large fried rice to go so I could eat it again for dinner tonight, that’s how good it was!!!
