My boyfriend and went to Bob’s to look at the boots and woman’s sneakers. I am 45 years old and my boyfriend is 50. As we walked into the boot department, there was a employee looking like he was straightening up the boots. As we shopped around we noticed he seemed to be following us around. Each isle we went, watching us. He made is so obvious he was watching us. Made both of us feel uncomfortable. We ended up just leaving. Its too bad because we both had money to spend. Never again will I ever go to this store and feel like I am a criminal.

I am all about a good deal! This is the place you go when you need converse ½ price on the clearance rack, anything patriots, Red Sox or Bruins related(not sure if the have authentic jerseys but they seem to have everything else). Sports section is to front of store to right as soon as you walk in. Cloths are in middle of store, you can put together an outfit for baby, women, men no problem, yoga pants for the gym another check! Shoes/sneakers are in back of store a lot of boots for workers now too. I like bobs store, I have been coming to this bobs store and the one in Warwick RI for many many years. Before I even enter store I always grab a coupon from the paper or my bobs card certificate they send in the mail. Always saving $ 10 bucks is genius. Then I enter store looking for the deal racks which are in every section of this store. Saturday night we entered 30 min before close(9:00pm they close) which was 830pm. Store had maybe 2 people shopping which was nice and quiet. The really exciting part was they where beginning to put out summer gear! Woot woot, sandals, hats, shorts and of course bright t-shirts. Everything I named I bought lol at a bargain! Great shopping night in and out in 15min. Store was clean and cashier was pleasant.

Had a nasty exchange with a customer service employee. It was an issue of holiday help doing things that they shouldn’t so the regular customer service employees take it out on the customers.

Ashley is spot on. I’ve been going to Bob’s since I was a kid. My mom used to take me to the Manchester CT store for as long as I can remember for their shoes, shorts, and winter coats. The clearance rack has always been stellar and you can walk out of there most times finding exactly what your looking for, at less than you were thinking’ of spending. That’s not to say that all their prices are awesome all the time. But, if you are patient enough or plan your visits to coincide with sales of seasonal clothing and shoes that they are phasing out to make room for their new arrivals, that’s when you’ll find the best deals(especially when paired with 20% off coupons or other discounts you can earn through their Best of Bob’s program) Though maybe seen as just another card to fill your wallet, the Best of Bob’s program is definitely worth the 2 seconds it’ll take to fill out. With $ 10 off coupons coming to you for your birthday, to other promotions they run throughout the year, a wisely paired 10 dollars off with a sale item can cut an original price in half or better. For example, I recently went to Bob’s to look for a good winter coat, that could take a beating and stay reasonably warm through 10+ hours of snow blowing commercially.(a pretty tall order considering how wet it gets). Being the end of January I wasn’t sure what to expect, but ended up finding a two piece ski Jacket, originally priced at $ 165, on a clearance rack for $ 75. And after using a 20% off coupon online at the Bob’s website, and using a 10 dollars off I received in the mail from the Best of Bob’s program I ended up walking out of there paying little more than 45 dollars!!! I could go on about other experiences, but I think you get the point. One of the best stores in New England, for ppl who don’t want to empty their wallets for good stuff! !!Don’t miss their annual buy one get one shorts sale in the spring!

Bob’s Store is a fantastic all-around establishment for your family’s school, sport, and work clothing needs. Departments include that for children, teens, women, and men. Used to come shopping here every year before school to partake in their sales and stock up on new clothes and sneakers for the year. I digress. Each department includes fashion, outerwear, and clearance items. Work out attire is also available including tanks, shirts, windpants, mesh shorts, etc. You name it, they’ve got it. Band and graphic tee’s offered by the boatload. The sportswear departments have a wide variety of Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins, and Celtics attire. Hats, shirts, sweatshirts, towels, and shorts all emblazened with the team logos. Work wear department includes brands such as Carhartt, Columbia, and Wrangler. Extensive shoe department including running shoes, walking shoes, nursing clogs, sandals of all kinds(brands including Adidas and Reef). Construction boots, dress shoes, heels, etc. The dressing rooms are spacious and enclosed in what appears to be a metal shack/fall out shelter from the movie Twister. No staff to help you out here like in the past but, I’d rather this. Sneak in more than 6 items at a time and life is good. I prefer a door that closes when I’m trying on clothing.. . unfortunately these rooms simply close with a thick denim curtain. Ya win some, ya lose some. Try to hit up the store when they’re having a sale(which is hard to miss! they have them all the time!). Clothing can get expensive at full price, especially the with the sports team logos. Do yourself a favor and sign up for a «Best of Bob’s» card. This gets you special offers and coupons. Recently spent a $ 10 gift certificate I earned from the Best of Bob’s program. Bought a girls fit Red Sox shirt to wear to the games! Time before that got an inexpensive pair of American Eagle dress jeans for $ 8. Look for the deals, they’re easy to find!!!
