Great food and coffee! Well worth the price. The creek side view was awesome! I eat any meal there but we were there for breakfast.

A great dining experience, each course was cooked perfectly. Marlo was a true hospitality professional, her recommendations for food and wine were perfect!

This place blows all Sunday brunches out of the water. Every single detail is perfect. From the gorgeous creek side scenery, to the incredibly professional and knowledgable waitstaff and of course the extremely high quality food, you cannot have a bad time here! Our server Eric was a delight from start to finish. He gave us a tour and descriptions of all the foods in the buffet area and was beyond accommodating the whole time. There’s an omelette bar where my boyfriend said he had the best omelette he’s ever had(he actually had a second) prime rib, fresh seafood, meats & cheeses, the best wedge salad ever, breakfast foods, lunch foods, dinner foods and everything in between. Pace yourself because you are going to want to eat every single thing and then some. I dream of this place and can’t wait until I can go back. Worth every penny! Make sure you go feed the ducks after your meal. Fellas this will surely impress any lady in your life.

The ambiance looks really nice and overlooks Oak Creek. However, I couldn’t hear the water running, let alone myself think with the power saw cutting the new rock pathway they are installing. Someone should let them know that kind of stuff can be done off site in a workshop. I couldn’t enjoy myself, so I had coffee and OJ and went elsewhere. I will probably come back once the construction stops.

We were wowed last night by our dining experience, particularly the chefs special preparation of the fois gras! Cheers to culinary mastery!

One of my favorite all time restaurants. Right up there with Chez Panisse. Yes, that good. It is definitely not a place for every night out, but it’s my top choice for special occasions. Love sitting on the deck overlooking the river in the evening, enjoying wine and amazing food. Never a disappointment. I’d give more stars if I could.

We had breakfast here during our stay, and we sat by the window. The host is very accommodating, and the entire waitstaff is great too! My boyfriend had some house coffee, and I had a cappuccino. Both great. For breakfast, I had the crab omelette — it was so good! Crab meat tucked away in a fluffy omelette, topped with truffle hollandaise sauce with crispy potato sticks. Yum! My boyfriend got the eggs Benedict with rosemary potatoes, which was also great. We also ordered a side of fruit, and unlike most restaurants that just give you the cheapest and most boring fruit(like giant chunks of cantaloupe and honeydew), this one had fresh strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, pineapple, and cantaloupe. It’s the small things and attention to detail that makes this place(and resort) fantastic.

My date and I had dinner at the restaurant on 01⁄05. We felt very welcomed and well taken care of by the staff. I don’t speak lightly when I say that our server raised my bar for exceptional wait service. The food was flavorful and the portion sizes were appropriate for a multi course meal. We left feeling comfortably full. The décor and overall atmosphere was nice as well. The bill came out to $ 270(excluding tip) for our meal(3 courses plus a dessert course) and a bottle of wine. If you are unsure of how you should dress, stick with smart casual/business casual attire and you should not feel out of place. Overall, our experience was an enjoyable one. I am more than willing to go back if ever I visit Sedona again if only just to see if everything will be as great as it was the first time. Some of the reviews here are not so favorable but the majority of those are regarding the lunch service, so maybe it’s different depending on when you choose to dine.

Beautiful atmosphere, bad service. After being seated and brought menus we waited 10 minutes before deciding to leave. The menu wasn’t worth the stay. Our waiter magically appeared right then. The valet retrieved our car and left all doors but the driver side locked and then walked away to assist the car that had just pulled up, even though there were 2 other valets standing around. He didn’t speak a word to us, thank us or say goodbye. As we were driving out, an employee almost crashed into our car in a golf cart. 2 stars is just for the decoration, it looked very nice!

Sorry to be a bit of a downer on this place, but it’s a must. Firstly, the good stuff: Dining bear the flowing creek is lovely! It’s a beautiful view, wonderful ambience, and quite relaxing. The price of $ 70⁄3 courses is by no means overpriced, which is nice, since they could charge much more because of the location and the hotel. We started off with cocktails and wanted to just enjoy those for a bit. We also ordered wine so it could have a bit of time to open up. Even after ordering the wine early, we ended up ordering our meal and the wine still had not arrived by the time our appetizers did. Our server, Joel, had entirely disappeared, it seemed. I had to ask a food runner to find him for us. By the time we finally got our wine(appetizers long done), Joel made it sound as if the wine was difficult to find. My «former server» instincts tell me he plain forgot to put it in. Super disappointing for a place that touts itself as so high end and charges enough to suggest fine dining. Then, sadly, Jim G.‘s Pork Loin was so dry that it was nearly dusty! No hyperbole here! We never send dishes back, ever! If we don’t like it, then that’s on us. And, usually we’re going to places that do not make such mistakes. This was diner-style dried out pork. Joel replaced it without question, but, again, the timing of everything was thrown very off. To bring a close to an unexpected evening, twin skunks come running towards us, after already spraying(thankfully) a few yards prior to reaching us. I’ve never seen such a thing in all my days! One went on one side of our table and the other circled the opposing side. We could have had a skunky showdown; luckily, they had places to be and kept on moving. Incredibly surreal, to be certain! Overall, I might come back to this place for breakfast or lunch; something where I don’t expect such fine dining but can enjoy the view nonetheless. With better quality food preparation, more attention to detail, and better service, this place could be fabulous! As it was when we dined, it was a tad bit disappointing and, because of the the skunks, surprising!

I’m so bummed to be writing this review, but hopefully, someone will listen. OK, the place is one of the most beautiful settings a restaurant could have — Oak Creek is a natural heaven. I wanted to splurge and take my daughter here for lunch on our last day of vacation, and it was a total drag. The young hostess was indeed(see other reviews that are not 5 star) on the phone when we arrived and was sarcastically asking the caller if they had allergies — with almost an eye roll. Well, guess what? I do have a deadly nut allergy, so when she asked me, I was delighted, but she was annoyed. This was a small thing… We were seated by a window in a smaller room in at the end of the dining room as it was raining that day, patio closed. Great, still gorgeous! All was going just great, and we had a relaxed and efficient server in Lucien(?). We ordered drinks and two salads and split an ap. Yum. But then… and this is BIG people — one of their staff members brought in 2 wedding clients to the small room… and he is LOUD and OBNOXIOUS and likes to hear himself. EVERY other table in the room were horrified, and thankfully for them, both of the other tables were on the dessert course and soon left. We were not so lucky. This gentleman was literally having a LOUD meeting with his clients about their upcoming nuptials — great — but we are in a small room having an EXPENSIVE lunch and we were bombarded with his loud booming voice and every detail of their wedding, including costs. It was horrific. There is a table out side this room adjacent to the kitchen that looks perfect for this kind of meeting — I don’t understand how this«sales» guy could be so stupid. We told our waiter, who sort of nodded, and he told the very young«host» a male, who shrugged his shoulders and DIDNOTHING. It was a huge oversight, a huge disappointment and they did nothing to make it better. The food was OK, the chopped salad that got rave reviews was bland… ugh. Go for a drink and the view – Hope to hear from someone, as you really blew it this time.

The combination of the creek side views and the reasonable price of $ 70/pp for a 3 course tasting menu made L’Auberge Restaurant on Oak Creek a winner, unfortunately we still had some misses along the way. Our table was set right in front of the flowing creek. It really was as romantic as it could possibly be. We both tried the 3 course tasting menu, ordered a few cocktails, and a bottle of wine. Our server was friendly and attentive but it did annoy us that it took so long to get our wine to enjoy with our starters, especially since the table next to us ordered their wine well after us and received it much before us. Oh well, not the end of the world so we moved on. The smoked Burrata was a winner, as was the super tender Filet Mignon with a tasty Béarnaise sauce. I never send a dish back, but my Tenderbelly Pork Loin was anything but tender and more like a dried out leather shoe! I sent it back and it was promptly replaced with no questions. I had the Dorade Royale with lentils which was a millions times better, although a bit on the fishy side. On to the fun stuff! We were definitely in nature, as we experienced a family of skunks charge right through the creek side table area, practically hitting our legs as they made their way along the creek. Seeing a skunk, and of course the fear of them firing at you in close range was a huge concern! Thankfully we did have a 30 second warning as their scent hit our noses from a victim up the creek, however all our neighbors screaming certainly had us worried we would be a victim. We luckily survived and enjoyed the rest of our evening. While they are on the expensive side, especially for the area, the views and the value for gourmet style food makes L’Auberge Restaurant on Oak Creek a necessary stop on your trip to Sedona. Also, in case you are staying at the Amara Kimpton hotel the restaurant is right next door along the creek and makes for a nice walk at sunset.

If you want a romantic get away that is only 2 to 3 hours from Phoenix, this is definitely a place you want to go to for breakfast or dinner. The restaurant can sit you right next to the creek when you make reservation ahead of time. For breakfast, they serve regular one off the menu that you might like or you can choose to have it buffet style. You can build your own omelets, choose different types of fruits, sausages, pancakes, bacon… u name it. Service is excellence and they come around to give us refill for coffee, tea and water quite often without asking. As for dinner, it is a bit overprice and the portion is a bit small. Nevertheless, it is elegant, romantic and definitely a place to be for a glass of wine and fine dining. I highly recommend anyone who loves Sedona to come here.

This place is absolutely amazing. When I first heard about it years ago I really wanted to try it. My boyfriend decided to surprise me and take me here for my birthday. The minute we showed up I just instantly fell in love. Unfortunately when we came they were doing renovations so they had a very limited kitchen. We ordered the Cobb Salad and the Pastrami Sandwich. Even though the menu was very limited to only salads and sandwiches everything was very delicious. The customer service couldn’t have been any more outstanding then it was. We were always taken care of. I felt like I wasn’t even in Arizona when I sat down. We will definitely be returning to try their full menu once they are done with renovations!

Service-5 stars Absolutely attentive service, and fantastic attention from all the staff. Environment/Setting-5 Stars Sitting creekside is very relaxing, romantic, and a great setting for a fine meal. Menu 3-stars Was a bit underwhelmed with the food… was very sophisticated menu. Massively expensive for a very complex meal. Again, I am more of a meat and potatoes guy and love a great setting which this place is. I will give this a solid 4 stars because it was a great experience.

IHad lunch here on a Thursday afternoon along the creek. Very beautiful setting, while it was hot and sunny we pulled an umbrella to our table for shade. The staff was top notch and always there for your every need. Awesome setting dining alongside the creek with great service with very presentable food. The one thing is the food was just average where no one thing blew me away. The French Toast was interesting and pretty cool in a small Dutch Oven like kettle where the crust was very good. The Tomato and Avocado Sandwich was average but had great presentation. We also share the cod and shrimp sandwich with a side if fruit, the plate looked beautiful but the food just did not wow me. The dinner menu looks totally different and with a sunset meal would be ideal but a little bit more pricy. Will come back and try the dinner and breakfast someday.

Wow… This was probably my favorite stop on my week long trip to Sedona. We lucked out and got a spot right next to the creek. We only intended to stay for one drink, but we ended up staying for several drink and an appetizer. We just couldn’t leave our stop, just mesmerized by the beauty. It was about 6pm, so the sun was going down on the rocks and there was a light warm breeze. With the sound of creek and chirping of the birds, you couldn’t ask for a more perfect ambiance. Oh, and it didn’t hurt that the wine was divine too. Yes, it’s pricey. But the peaceful experience is worth very penny!

I had high expectations and they did not disappoint. However, it was not as great as i thought it would be. Don’t get me wrong. The food was good, really good, but we all thought it would be better. Came here during a recent stay at L’Auberge hotel. Made reservations for dinner in advance as i heard the restaurant gets really busy. I was lucky to have also an opportunity to experience breakfast here. So here goes my opinion: Food was better on dinner than during breakfast. This place is expensive, so be prepared. Breakfast was very busy and most tables were full. Went for a wedding so for breakfast all my crew was there. I was underwhelmed with breakfast service but it could have been because they were so busy. Did not particularly liked my eggs benedict. And even though it was only 3 of us at the table(My husband, my best friend and i) the bill was over $ 80. However, the setting is SPECTACULAR! The creek side seating is a must! Beautiful setting, so romantic, perfect for a date or just to sit there, relax, and meditate. Now for dinner we also requested creek side seating and we got the best table in the house. At the end of the creek side seating area, big table with this amazing view. The weather could not have been better so seating outdoors was not an issue. The food for dinner was way better than breakfast. Again it was my BFF and hubbie with me. We all ordered wine by the glass and it was great. Then my husband and i had a bottle of white that was equally good. The wine list is vast. Menu is creative and ample. From bison to lamb, to scallops and fish they have it all. We ordered the 3 course menu, each of us had appetizer, second course and entrée. Of the items i remember we had were the goat cheese, the crab salad(excellent), we also had 36 month old beef carpaccio(lovely), venison and filet mignon. My friend and husband both had venisson and even though they liked it, they reported it was not very exciting. I had the filet, and it was very good, perfectly done and very tender. No complaints. I was looking forward to have their famous grand marnier soufflé but they did not have it. :( Our waiter said it was a seasonal thing. so i settled for the crème brûlée which was fantastic. The service was excellent, i wish i remembered our server’s name, but it escapes me. He was very friendly, patient, knowledgable about the menu and nice. Kuddos to him. Even though the restaurant closes kind of early and we were the last table there at the end of the night, he never said anything to us and we just hung out and drank wine until we decided we had overstayed our welcome. I thought the dinner was very expensive for what it was, still we knew it would be. Overall, the meal was good but it is the ambiance that in my opinion makes this place. Good memories.

What a special dinner. I don’t normally give five stars BUT given the food, attention to detail in the food and service AND the unbelievable nighttime creek side table coupled with individual heaters… Well this was a very special event. I had lamb and my husband had venison cooked to chef’s discretion and both were amazing. The foie gras was outstanding as was the salad. It was as romantic a night as I could have asked. We loved it.

This place screams I’m on vacation and want some peace and quiet. If I could pick a perfect spot to eat, this would be towards the top of my list. I really enjoyed beautiful nature here in Sedona at this restaurant. The inside of the restaurant will not give you the same experience. So sit outdoors, you won’t regret it. We sat outdoors and were the only guests on our side of the outdoor seating area, making it really private, romantic, and relaxing. We took a ton of pictures and enjoyed watching the ducks swimming. Due to us being one of the only ones out there, the waiter did not come by often. We were okay because we didn’t need anything except a refill on tea one time but I could see this could be frustrating if you needed something it would be hard to get a waiters attention since you are far from the main dining area. The food is decent but expensive and pretty overpriced. $ 12 for a side of soup is a bit much. If I were to base the review on the food and price alone it is 3 stars. You are paying for the pretty view and the lovely sound of the water moving along the rocks which made it 4 stars. After lunch take a walk along the creek.
