Just what we needed, at a little more time than we were expecting. We were hoping to get on the road after a quick pit stop at this place. Heading to Phoenix this place seemed like a great location to get Saturday morning caffeine and a good treat for the road. The place is neat, I am not sure what it used to be but it has a really big bar you sit at while you wait or enjoy the in and outs of a Saturday morning. The wait time was pretty long and we had just got in when a big group left… so I am not sure. We got some croissants(nicely buttered) and cups of joe and tea. Staff was great, I just don’t know where the hold up was.

I’ve been coming here since 1995. Gary continues to bake the most amazing breads and pasties! Breakfast is simple and great! Love all the lunch items! Love their dinners and the have a full bar. It’s small and quaint and very local. No frills, basic and amazing! Thank you look forward to coming back soon!

I was not expecting to find artisans at an espresso bar. The women working there seemed a little disorganized when it came to running the front end, but OMG they had it were it counts. Breakfast was amazing and I am glad we grabbed a baked snack for the ride home. I was disappointed when the bag was empty even though I was full. Bonus star for being a hidden gem.

Stopped by for a quick to-go breakfast before hitting the road. They were warm, welcoming, and provided quick service. The egg, spinach, feta croissant was delicious!

Get the almond bear claw warmed up. You won’t regret it! Cute lil diner that the locals seem to frequent. They had a menu that I would have tried out if I wasn’t so full already :/very friendly service!

I like this place as a local bakery with a reasonable menu as well. I had a bagel sandwiches and we tried several pastries. They heat them up in the oven and man that is awesome. Pain au chocolate was superb! Starbucks coffee as well. Total locals hang out, service was good and friendly. We ate here both mornings and recommend.

If I were a local this would be my «go-to» for bread and baked goods. The sourdough slice that came with my salad was so incredibly good. I even looked online when I got home to see if it can be shipped. Otherwise my meal was ok. Nothing special in any sense of the word. I ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad which was fresh but uninspired. The weird part is that the chicken had a bit of an Asian flare to the seasoning. It tasted as if it had soy sauce and ginger as parts of the marinade, and that flavor profile did not mix well with the salad for me. Overall I was glad to give this simple little place a try, but its not on my list of places to repeat… except maybe for that bread. Also, we arrived and were in line just 4 minutes before lunch hour began, sadly by the time we were at the counter and able to place our order the clock had ticked over and they would no longer allow us to order breakfast. This was frustrating because we had arrived in time to place a breakfast order, but their line simply moved too slow for us to make the cut-off. One of the people in our party was especially disappointed because their breakfast sandwich was the reason we stopped in in the first place. They would not make an exception.

Probably the best bread in northern Arizona. Get there early because the freshly baked loaves sell out quickly. My favorite is the nine grain. Very pleasant and efficient service.

Today, told my ohana to come lets go have lunch at this place. Came here during the summer and loved it. Now my family is with me and they enjoyed the food as well. The burgers are so huge and cooked really well where the cow isn’t walking. Some cooks have a hard time cooking medium burgers but, Mona she’s such a great cook. It was nice to come in and give her the shakas and introduce her to my family. The family enjoyed the food and hopefully on our next trip to Sedona they’ll be back to visit! One thing about this place is they make everything to order so if your impatient and starving then you should go to a subway or McDonald’s or another place where you can grab n go! If your patient and can wait for your food to come out tasting great then stop by and enjoy the scenery that surrounds you. That’s what Sedona is all about anyways! Love this place!

Once again… Over a year and a half later, we decide to try one last time(and I assure it will be our last) to give this place a chance. Never again. Nope. No way. We thought maybe… just maybe, the management-staff had changed. Nope. Same ornery service from people who obviously hate — repeat — HATE their jobs. Third time’s a charm, folks. I don’t like paying good money for sub-par service and food. The food served isn’t atrocious, but it doesn’t sit well given the awful customer service inflicted on the clientele by the girl up front. It’s actually pretty bizarre given the area is so full of nice people and businesses. It’s so weird, because the place just looks so cheerful on the outside. You folks have fun. We didn’t. Since 2011.

Great local bakery in sedona we have been here at least a dozen times in the past 10 years! Same owners, love that! The bear claws are amazing, we get one each time! The variety of fresh baked bread is so satisfying!

Every time we are in Sedona we eat here. The food is always amazing and the staff is very friendly. We had soup, sandwiches and dessert. The bread they use is made there and it is delicious. The soup was very rich and flavorful. We had a chocolate dessert and cheesecake. Both desserts were fantastic. The flavor and texture of the cheesecake was perfect. We have also eaten breakfast here and everything was very good. We will be back.

Came here after a long day of hiking at Bell Rock. We spent so much time climbing rocks we didn’t eat lunch until after 2pm. This place was right across from where I was staying at Days Inn. Very convenient. This place was very quaint and small town feel. The servers were kind and pretty much knew everyone that came in to the place. You order first and they bring you out your food. You pay afterwards. They have sandwiches, pizzas and bakery goods. Most people seemed to be pre-ordering and just picking up their food. It was Christmas Eve so perhaps people were staying in. We ordered and ate in. We ordered tuna melts and chicken pesto pizzas. The pizzas are a decent individual sized pizza. A little more actually. You can eat half and save the other half for later. The tuna melt was good. Toasted bread and warm. It came with a side salad with vinaigrette dressing. The dressing was really good. I don’t typically like vinaigrette dressing but this one almost had a hint of soy sauce or something in it. For dessert(it is a bakery afterall), I got a blondie brownie which was really good. It was a light brownie with chocolate chips. Parking in the lot out front. Service was good.

Should have read the other reviews first, and would not have gone here. First off. The lady’s working there treat only the local nice. They do not give you a printed bill, than charge you more so you do not know what your being charged for. They are so nasty, and think you are doing them a favor by going there, do yourself a favor do not go there!!! They are NASTY, NASTY, NASTY!!! Stay as far away as possible!

Great food and great service! Beautiful view of the red rocks. It feels like home here. Visiting a few days from Ohio. Quick service if you’re in a hurry but not feeling rushed if you just want to stay and chill for awhile.

Had breakfast here 5 days in a row during my visit in Sedona. Gorgeous view of the red rocks, smiley genuinely friendly service and good food. Great place to chat with some friends comfortably inside or outside. It feels calm and cozy and theres a constant flow of people coming in here. I enjoyed their omelette, bagel, Danish, breakfast croissant. My friend liked their French toast and muffins. My favorite thing about this place is the cook and the waitress, they’re adorable and create good energy. I will miss you guys!!!

We stopped here on our way back to Phoenix and grabbed some coffee, hot cocoa and some cookies. The coffee was awesome and the cookies were so good. The staff was so friendly and had a nice chat before we were on our way again. Felt very welcoming and wish I had a place like this in my neighborhood in Phoenix.

This is my go to place for coffee in the morning and sometimes a baked good. I have also had lunch here many times and it has always been good. This is not a 5 star bakery as some is made fresh and some is brought in I’m sure but for what it is it is good. Be nice to the staff and they will always take good care of you. If you act like an idiot, are rude or hold up the line because you can’t read or you think the world revolves around you then they might not be so polite. The line can backup here sometimes but the staff knows how to keep things moving so your wait is never to long at the counter. The parking can get full fast so make sure you use the lot next door if needed. The owner lurks around and always looks unhappy but I don’t give a shit as long as that grumpy bastard is keeping my cinnamon rolls and carrot cake fresh and tasty.

I don’t cry over spilt milk, but I do cry over intentionally smushed cake. I cry, «FOUL!» I don’t understand how a bakery can spend hours making a delicious and beautiful carrot cake, house it in a lovely lighted display case in mouth-watering perfect condition, only to remove a slice, place it in an ill-fitting box and bring the lid down — smashing the top such that the«perfect dollop» that adorns the top of the cake is now slathering out a frosty greasy mess on the inside top of the box. That carrot cake had lured me in with not only the idea of a yummy treat for my sweetie, but with also the presentation — it was intact and unspoiled. It did not deserve this sullied fate. Nor was it a feel-good to bring that $ 4.50 slice of cake to the intended recipient and have him make a remark similar in sentiment, «Wow, it’s really stuck to the top of the box. What a mess.» Had that mushed-up piece of cake been sitting in the display case, I NEVER would have say, «Oooooh, I like that one. It looks like it’s been maybe flipped on its head, dropped on on the floor.» No. No. No. It’s a huge No-No to sell a customer an item in fine condition and then to smash it into a box. Ok, if this is a soapbox, I will step down, but on to the next: This is a small but cozy and«ok» little shop. Not so welcoming was the group of five or six boys shouting and yelling while standing at one of the taller tables. Frankly, I jumped because they were so loud and the place is small. I looked over and they were just carrying on — an older gentlemen seated at the bar counter had his finger stuck in one ear, with a cell phone to the other. That’s how loud these kids were. My first thought is that the boys were related or something to someone who worked there, but it escapes me, «why wouldn’t you tell them to quiet down!?» whether they are related or just kids being so completely rude?! I don’t know what that story was, but then two of the boys(or do you call an eleven-year-old, maybe 12 «young man»? I guess you don’t think of calling them that if they are yelling in a bakery.) Anyway, came right over and stood about a foot from me, looking as if they were going to order. I looked at them and said, «Do you want to order to something.» And then they walked away. Now that I think about it, I should have asked the lady behind the counter, «What is the deal!?» Anyway, on a brighter note, the lady behind the counter was friendly and nice. The sad part of this review is that all that other stuff takes away from the fact: the carrot cake and the chocolate pyramid were excellent. It’s interesting how the experience, though, more so defined my impression of this little shop.
