Cy’s is a bit off the beaten path, and once you are there inside the building, you have no wifi and no cellular coverage. No signal! So you’d best go with someone whose company you enjoy, as you will need to reacquaint yourselves with the old fashioned social media called«talking to each other, using bioavailable communication instruments like mouth, ears, eyes, hands(you know, like for Sign Language?). And of course, once the food arrives, you can enjoy a break from talking and just focus on the delicious food. Since we were there last, they appear to have printed off q new menu(pretty shiny sparkly paper in a nice leather type cover!). I have photos of them but not sure if I need to upload then for prices and descriptions? Y’all let me know, and I will put them up later.

From Iowa, I like steak houses. Been doing construction work here and became a regular. Definitely recommend Hoof and Horn. I have had everything on the menu, and haven’t had a bad meal. Steaks are awesome, prime rib is the second best I have ever had, country fried steak is more than you can eat.

My wife and I decided to go to Cy’s for a date night. We had the chicken bites for an appetizer. They were ok, but covered in sauce which was pretty messy. We had a ribeye for our main course, which was pretty good… but maybe not $ 28 good. We finished with a ‘naughty brownie’ which was amazing. Our service was excellent as well. If you’re in Sedgwick looking for a place to eat, give Cy’s a try.

A group of us from Wichita made the trip to Sedgwick for a birthday celebration and we had a wonderful dining experience. I had the country fried steak, what a huge portion it was. It was so tender, it was not necessary to use a knife. The portion was so big, I couldn’t eat it all and the price was what I would expect, very reasonable. My boyfriend and I are planning a date night in Sedgwick. Thanks for great service and great food. Galen M.

Too expensive and really nothing special. Small dining area with stuffed animals on ledges around walls, separated by walkway from small bar area. Steaks are close to $ 30. Had chicken fried steak for $ 17. Wayyyyy too salty. Seriously, couldn’t eat breading, and salty food is my fave. Save your money for something better.

The steak I had tonight was probably the best I’ve ever tasted. I’ve been to steak houses up and down the east coast including some very famous ones and I’d put the steak I had tonight at the top. Definitely give it a try.

We ate there this Friday night 9−21−12. Wasn’t great at all. I ordered the prime Rib which they are suppose to be famous for, it was a grilled boneless Rib steak. Someone needs to show the Cook what a piece of real Prime Rib looks like. My Daughter in law ordered the Taco Platter, the meat tasted burned and she sent it back and got a crummy baked stuffed potato. It was so small and was $ 6.+ My son had what was supposed to be the Huge Mountain Burger that was big but on a regular size bun so all the lettuce and onion(no tomato) fell off and some McDonald type fries for $ 10 and change. The appetizer we ordered was CHEEZYFRIES, what image comes up? Yeah Not… it was the same McDonald type fries with Grated cheese(not Melted) over top and it was touted as a Mountain of fries, again NOT… We won’t be going back EVER… Spent over $ 75.+ on dinner No one enjoyed not even the kids who had corn dogs… Over rated not worth the ride from Wichita. Stick with Texas Road House for the best Steaks, Burgers etc. They are still the best!!!

I absolutely love this place. The chicken fried steak is the best I’ve ever had. This is a must visit if you’re anywhere near Wichita.

The atmosphere is small town, downhome. The food is tasty and really plentiful! The waitress was very attentive and the coffee was hot and fresh. Our steak with grilled onions came as ordered. Would recommend. Short trip north of Wichita. Worth the 20-minute drive.
