Fetrow Family Child Care

Fetrow Family Child Care was a terrific place for my little boy last year. Carrie is warm and loving and she plans terrific activities. She runs her home day-​care very well. The children are always playing, reading, imagining, or creating art. The food she provides feels like a bonus. Carrie and her staff were very sweet to my little boy and he enjoyed his time there. We left when it was time for him to move on to «big boy» pre-​school :)

I can’t recommend Fetrow Family Childcare highly enough. Carrie and crew do so many fun projects with the kids and really tune in to their individual personalities when relating to them/​addressing their needs. Fabulous family-​run daycare!

Fetrow Family Daycare is the first daycare and only daycare that my daughter has attended and has been one of the best influences on my daughters life thus far… It has taught her how to be independent, social, her ABC’s, friendship, following rules, interacting with children of multiple ages, etc… Carrie is a loving mother as well amazing child care provider. I love how the children can always depend on a set schedule each day… which is music, story time, crafts, outdoor play time, etc… kids love structure and appreciate this type of comfortable, homelike environment… I definitely would recommend the Fetrow Family for your child’s first daycare setting.

I feel so lucky to have found Carrie and her daycare. Before her we had tried a few different places (1 in Sebastopol, and the other 2 down in the Bay Area when we lived there) and our daughter was unhappy in those other places. Unhappy daughter = very unhappy mom. I stopped working partly due to these daycare issues. But for nearly a year now our almost 3 year old daughter has been at Carrie’s and has been so happy that she sometimes doesn’t want to come home. She really sees Carrie and her daughter as family… which I am very thankful for since she is an only child. At Carrie’s she’s learned so much and has blossomed into a very outgoing child who makes friends easily. I had planned originally to bring her to Fetrow Family Daycare until she was old enough to enter the traditional preschools (usually around age 3), but Carrie has a background in preschool education and is doing such a great job of educating our daughter that I see no need to switch to a regular preschool system. She’ll be there until she goes to kindergarten! Thanks Carrie.

I have used Fetrow Family Child care to watch both my 7 year old son and my 2 ½ year old daughter. Carrie is outstanding with the children and I would highly, highly recommend her. I work as a children’s pastor and seeing how Carrie interacts with children and how she genuinely cares for them is both encouraging as a parent and as someone who works with children. Fetrow Family childcare is located out in the country which is great because there is room for the kids to play outside and run around. The facility is very clean and well organized and there is a great range of age appropriate toys. Healthy snacks and meals are provided as well. Overall as I have mentioned already I would highly recommend this Child Care facility because 1) Carrie great with kids 2) Love the country location 3) Love the family feel and the genuine care that is shown to the children.

My daughter first got to know Carrie at the church nursery when she was 4 months old. She took to her instantly and would only go to her for the first several months. I was sure it was because of her loving and sweet demeanor with the children. I was so excited to hear that Carrie was opening an in home daycare at just the right time I was going back to work. I was looking for care several days a week approximately 9am-​4pm. We visited her in home care and my 1 ½ yr old daughter seemed right at home. This is my 3^rd child and I know what a challenge it is to find good, quality care. Fetrow Family child care has wide variety of outdoor play equipment that fits all age groups. Inside her home is clean, inviting and full of various toys so children have many choices and don’t have to fight over the same toys. I love that there is always soothing music playing for the children. Healthy meals and snacks are provided which I appreciate because my daughter tries new things. I work on the east side of 101 in Rohnert Park and even though the distance is a bit far it is well worth the drive for the quality care, attention and love that is given to my daughter.
