After reading some of the reviews, I think my expectations were set a bit too high. I really wanted to love this place. A ton of crazy creative vegetarian pizzas? Sign me up! Well… it just wasn’t that great. We tried the rosemary potato/gorgonzola and the wasabi pineapple/pepper(both by the slice). The toppings themselves were actually good, but the base of the pizza was sadly not that good. The crust was too soggy, the sauce tasted like it was from a jar, and the cheese was kinda like when you warm up really old leftover pizza — you know how it doesn’t stretch anymore, and just kinda… crumbles?(this was my experience with both slices, despite containing different cheeses) If the base of the pizza was so average, why even give it 3 stars? Well, the service was really nice. Also, I really love the concept, and the toppings themselves were a hit. They just need better… pizza.

#1 reason to try this place. The cooks experiment with flavors all the time and come up with really creative and really tasty ideas. I feel like I’ll never run out of new tasty experiences from them. I loved this place BEFORE I tasted how awesome their pizza is. I got the gorgonzola potato pizza and it is off the hook! The people working here are awesome and clearly love their work. I got a hand drawn pizza box of a scene from independence day with a pizza as the space ship: D

Finally a pizza place in Chinatown and a good one at that. Pizzas are also sold by the slice which makes it convenient. There are many varieties of flavors which are subtle and not too overpowering yet very tasty and crispy.

Interesting flavors of pizza, but all delicious and made in house. If you wanna grab a slice and get warm by the heat of their pizza oven this is the place to go.

Only place in Chinatown where you can really get your pizza fix. The place is kind of small so its best to come here for lunch. I think they put too much sauce in their pizza but again it’s pizza so it does the job just fine.

I like World Pizza. It’s the only pizza place in the heart of the International District. The pizza is pretty good considering it’s all vegetarian. The customer service is always prompt and nice. I’ve had their baked egg sunnyside up with fresh herbs, basil, black pepper, rosemary, and oregano pizza. ITISTODIEFOR. I’ve also had their cheese pizza which is always good. Some people complained about the crust and I tend to agree. It’s a bit on the soggy side, especially when the reheat it. I like the idea behind a «healthier» pizza but wish the crust was crispier and that they offered a thicker or thinner crust. Overall, this is a great place to check out. It’s a nice option if you’re not in the mood for Asian food in the International District.

We went to this place today for the first time and it was very nice. Let me begin by doing one clarification: All the pizzas here are vegetarian well — many of them do contain MILK, one of them contains EGGS. There is/are some vegan pizzas too. They have interesting combinations(e.g. wasabi pizza!) of toppings on their pizzas. They have one standard size(with about 6 – 8 slices) but each slice is HUGE. I went there at 1PM without eating anything since morning and all I could eat was two slices of pizza(along with one Cappuccino). Each slice costs about 3 – 3.5 $. For one or two people, you’d usually buy slices(rather than whole pizzas). The owner and the employees are very polite and helpful. The pizzas were very tasty and the coffee is as good as any other Cappuccino I had in Seattle. If possible, go by bus because it is hard to find free parking around this place during normal hours.

was in the ID and not in the mood for asian food, so decided to check this place out — had the signature potato/rosemary/?, and a slice with peppers and italian sausage(or «sausage», I guess). I think I’m going to stick with my boring american pizza, but it was pretty good. the fake sausage was tasty, and didn’t have the off-putting texture or flavor that a lot of meatless meat has. I wasn’t a huge fan of the potato pizza, but honestly I think I just can’t quite reconcile potatoes on pizza. The crust was odd(whole wheat?) and a bit chewy, but I liked it. Very cheap, big cheesy slices — I’d probably go back for the plain cheese, depending on what they had available. I doubt it will ever be my go-to pizza place, but it’s fun to try something different!

Long gone are the days when I’m able to call in and order a normal pizza, with layers of cheese and Canadian bacon. Having switched to vegan, I’m learning to visit restaurants that can easily accommodate. World Pizza made ordering so smooth, and Lizzie and Otto were just the kindest pizza artists I’ve ever met. I asked them to surprise me with my vegan pizza, letting them know there’s nothing I don’t like and to make it spicy. They didn’t disappoint. I got one large pie with no cheese(of course) and generous toppings. One side was Field Roast with mushrooms, artichoke hearts, olives. The other side had a spicy field roast with jalapenos, black beans, potato slices… deemed the Mexican side. SO tasty. The dough is not my favorite(a little harder than I’d like… giving it a stale sort of texture), but all else was very satisfying. And I love the hand-drawn art on the pizza boxes made by their staff. Nice touch!

I live in California, this is some of the best in Seattle! Vegetarian, fresh, and handmade. They have the traditional styles but also offer unique combinations for those daring to venture out. Walking by you wouldn’t realize it’s a pizza spot since it’s located in the International District so don’t be sketched out! When you order you go up to the counter to see their selections. Once you have made your mind you let the worker know your choices and they take the slice(s) and heat then right up for you. I’ve tried the«pepperoni/Pineapple and of course, the potato/Gorgonzola. Flavor is just next level. The combination seems odd, but it is just so perfect. I am craving this pizza so bad as I type this, I want to be in Seattle so I could eat this everyday! Til next time, World Pizza.

I’ve just returned from my first(and not last) check-in from World Pizza. Its a cute restaurant is in the International District so, if its not Asian food that you are craving and you happen to be in the area, I recommend this quaint pizza joint. There is super friendly staff. The slice was great! It was so cheesy and it had a nice, crispy bottom crust. I think I got a rosemary/potato/bleu slice. It wasn’t oily and the wonderful combination on my pizza was a delight. I tried out their Greek salad. And maybe I shouldn’t have since I’m not much of an olive and onion fan.(It was jam packed with them.) I also tried out their gianormous cookie which they offered to heat up. I really like the crispiness that the oven gives to the restaurants food. The cookie is more fluffy than dense though. Cute, little hole in the wall restaurant. Extremely nice staff. Delicious food. It’s a solid 4⁄5.

From the pictures and reviews you would think this pizza would be to die for. After trying it… ugh not even close. No matter what toppings I had, I just could not get around the dough. I believe they use whole wheat and it just did not work for me. You will be chewing through one piece for the next 15 minutes. It was no bueno at all. Also, if you stop inside during the summer be prepared to sweat out about 5 lbs.

Pizza is not very good. The dough doesn’t taste very good. I am from NYC and love a classic New York cheese slice. This place has high prices for the pizza portion you get and the crust is a super crispy and almost bread stick hard. Would recommend another pizza place although haven’t seen a decent pizza place in Seattle in the few months I’ve lived here. I may give up.

I didnt even know this was a vegetarian spot… I was just trying to get a couple of slices. Came by in the afternoon and it wasnt too busy, staff is super friendly upon entering, helpful in explaining the pizzas they have available, helpful in telling me what pizzas are coming out from the oven if I wanted to wait a few minutes. Nice to chat with as well. So I got a slice of cheese and a slice of the«fancy» pizza with roasted red peppers & their homemade pesto. They only call it «fancy’ because that is the button they push on the cash register. Funny. Both slices were pretty tasty! The cheese one… well, it was pretty much a standard cheese pizza slice. The roasted red pepper & pesto was delicious, nice amount of peppers and pesto was flavorful. Crust is different, I think it was a wheat crust? I dont know what it exactly was but it wasnt the typical kind. It was good and I totally ate it up! A little greasy but what do you really expect, I like my pizza a little greasy. Fold it and you are good to go!!! Whenever you are in ID and you dont want them chicken feets, stop by here for a slice. With this place being vegetarian, I didnt miss the meat on my pizza. Perfect spot to stop by before a Sounders game too! Slices were about $ 3 and totally worth it. Gotta come back to try more of their different kinds.

Pretty good pizza in Seattle? In the International District? You betcha. I had read about this seemingly out of place gem before and been intrigued, so when we found ourselves wandering the ID in search of sustenance on a cold and rainy Saturday evening we stumbled into this little slice of heaven. Get your pizza by the slice or go for a whole pie. We wanted variety so we opted for slices — I selected the cheese and the pepperoni and both were pretty satisfying. The bf had the potato pizza, the bite I snagged was great… next time I’m getting this! They also have delicious chocolate chip cookies that they’ll warm up for you — a great way to end your meal if you eat in. Keep in mind they only have 4 tables and they serve beer which leads to lingering, so the ability to eat in is hit or miss. On a random note, I’m kind of obsessed with the fruity San Pellegrinos and they happen to have 5 or 6 varieties… which encourages me to return even more than the pizza and chocolate chip cookie. If you find yourself in the ID and craving pizza(because you never know when the craving might strike and delicious pizza by the slice in Seattle isn’t exactly widely available) check this place out.

Unilocal reviewers(especially ones from Seattle and Bellevue) are always right! This place was great. It was this small place that looks nothing like a pizza joint. From outside, it just looked like another chinese restaurant(cuz this place is literally surrounded by Chinese and other Asian restaurants. Once you enter, you will be greeted by a couple of guys. Both super cool and laid back. They are your pizza maker, cashier, and server. I went around 10:30 ish(a bit early) and they only had 3 different pizzas available by the slice. I got two out of the three. First pizza I tried was their cheese pie with some fake meat on it. It was a bit salty but yummy. Second pizza was roasted potatoes, which was my favorite of the two. By the time I was done, I noticed they had 3 or 4 more pizzas available. I was already really really full, but when I saw the wasabi, roasted bell pepper, and pineapple pizza, I had to give it a try. I am glad I did because it was definitely my fav of the three. Sweet, Savory, and spicy — all really worked well. I thought their dough was very unique. It tasted more like biscuit than pizza dough. Unique texture and flavor. Their sauce also had some… spice to it too. Recommended for sure! I used cash today, so I am not sure if they accept credit cards. Edit — oh, one more thing, they have a couple of craft beers on tap. They had Manny’s and another beer from Odin Brewing(I think it was Odin’s gift — but not 100% sure).

Seriously good, seriously creative, and seriously cheap! Really big fan of this spot. It’s a bit tucked away up in the ID, but it is worth the trek. All of their pizzas are vegetarian, and many of them offer really unique toppings. There are some faux meats for those that like guilt-free proteins, but many other interesting combinations like the habanero/ricotta slice I had, and the rosemary/potato slice I also had(yes I ate two, and yes they are large). I also really like the flavor of the sauce, kinda spicy kinda sweet. For two large slices of pizza with very unique toppings plus a bottled beverage, it is crazy that the cost was still in the single digits. In addition to pizza by the slice, you can also order whole pies. And beyond bottled beverages and coffee, they offer wine and beer, including Manny’s on tap.(Pizza + Manny’s = Winning)(Yes I realize that joke is like 3 years old) The seating area is small, but I’ve been able to snag a booth both times I’ve been here. Though you may want to take yours to-go if you’re not a huge fan of smelling like pizza the rest of the day. I worked at a pizza place in college so maybe I’m more immune to the eau de pizza perfume those massive ovens can cause.

World Pizza is a charming little pizza joint tucked in among mostly Asian eateries on the neighboring blocks. The pizza is all vegetarian but even a meat-lover like me doesn’t miss it here. They have field roast, potato, and many other toppings. The slice I enjoyed recently had field roast, jalapenos, and pineapple. The people working there are always very friendly. Would recommend this spot to anyone who loves pizza!

3.5 Stars. World pizza seemed a little out of place being in Chinatown. but I suppose it is actually called«international district».well this is beside the point. I was REALLY craving pizza, so my fiancé suggested that we try this place out. He did mention that World Pizza only serves vegetarian pizzas, but that didn’t matter to me. The pizzas were good! Perhaps because the pizzas were still pretty fresh, but they refreshed it for us anyways. The two specialty ones were their potato pizza and their«dragon» pizza, then they had a pepper one and a plain cheese one. I must admit that the thing that is lacking isn’t the taste, but the underwhelming number of selection. I mean I have been to the fancy«Cheeseboard» in SF, in which they only sell ONE pizza the whole day(also only vegetarian), but they do it well. If World Pizza wants to have only 4 options, then I recommend that they change their options daily. Seems like the potato pizza has been on their menu for far too long… time to try something new! I believe World Pizza can improve, and I will definitely be back to try other creations as they come up.
