Waypoint Marine

Took my Tige over an hour drive to these guys for gel coat and fiberglass repair 3 weeks ago, to this day, still do not have the estimate after multiple phone calls and talking to many different people, it seems they are not properly run as no one seems to know what is going on here. Waste of time.

I purchased a Seasport two years ago from the original owner after spending time on my father-​in-​laws late 80’s Sportsman 22′. The primary use of the Seasport is to get to our cabin in the San Juan Islands. We keep the boat in Anacortes which requires us to cross Rosario Straight to Lopez Pass. The island has no ferry service so private vessel and aircraft are the two ways we can get there. Anyone that knows Rosario will tell you it can be a hair-​raising experience crossing the Rosario in foul weather. Safety was my primary concern when I was searching for the right boat and when it came time to select a like-​minded shop to service her. I tried a few shops before finding Waypoint Marine. Waypoint has done everything from installing a Mather’s drive-​by-​wire dual helm electronic engine controls system to perfectly fixing and matching her gel coat. Their attention to detail and ability to «listen» to my concerns and craft solutions that work for me puts them in a league of their own. As with any business the staff are the lifeblood of the organization. Steve and Jake have been great to work with and I wouldn’t consider taking her anywhere else unless they referred me.
