I explored this state extensively while doing a tour of duty here, and before that I had been there on vacation. Key attractions: Seattle, the city. Almost all other towns and villages in Wa can be mistaken for some backwoods spot in the dirty south. Fine dining, parking issues, entertainment, all the things that make a city a city(vs a toen). There’s the space needle, small bands playing in bars, funny locals(the only place in the state with cute ladies), and… that’s it. It can get old fast unless you’re into eating out and drinking a lot because there’s not much else, and most locals tend to be kinda dorky. The rest of the state has great hiking spots, nature galore, and trees. Lots of trees. Even seattle is overflowing in trees. Trees. It’s a nice, peaceful getaway, away from all fast lanes and fast people… until it rains! Most people drive normal in the rain! NEARTHESPEEDLIMIT. 5⁄5 for those that do. Cheers!
