Wagtime

Mary is great. She treats our dog as she would her own. Maybe even a little better. She has demonstrated that she is knowledgeable about canines and knows how to handle them.

We’ve used various boarding and in-​home services in Seattle in the last 10 years. Mary and Wagtime are far and away the best. If you asked me to design the ideal situation for leaving our dogs when we travel, I couldn’t come up with anything better than what Mary’s got going on.
We have two dachshunds, and I wouldn’t describe either as being particularly easy to care for. Sophia is 14, is very slow, and is almost immobile from arthritis and a leg break from many years ago. She can’t navigate even a single step, and she needs to be handled gently. Charlie is younger, but he’s a bit skittish. When we got them both back after 10 days with Mary, they were happier and more energetic than when we dropped them off. They were part of Mary’s family, slept and cuddled with the kids, and hung out in the yard with their family dog. Sophia’s multiple medications were administered correctly, as well.
Mary also texted us daily updates and photos. Just an absolute pleasure to work with, and so glad we have someone like this to trust with our dogs when we’re gone.

We are so lucky to have found Wagtime for our now 5-​months old puppy! Everyday, as Mary comes to take care of the puppy, she sends us text and/​or photo updates to let us know how the puppy has done during the visit (awesome photographer!!). I feel so much at ease through these updates knowing that my puppy is in good hands while I’m away at work during the weekdays.
Mary is clearly a pet lover and always pays close attention to what our puppy needs. She is great in keeping the communication channel open, even from our initial contact. She’s always super responsive when I have a question or request, and always very pleasant and flexible. I am just so grateful knowing that we can count on Mary with our baby.

I had the very good fortune of being one of Mary’s first clients and I can honestly say this is the best money I have ever spent! My young and very energetic dog is calm and happy when I get home from work and Mary takes wonderful care of her while sending me photo updates throughout the week. Her love of animals is immediately obvious upon meeting and she clearly has a passion for what she does.
She also takes wonderful care of my home while she’s there and has gone so far as to clean up after the young pup when she’s had bathroom mishaps inside and chewed up footwear. Not to mention she’s always available for additional support when I need it and will take my dog on for the day and late into the evening if need be when I’m working late.
I cannot over emphasize what a relief and comfort it is to have her services, especially as a single dog parent. I know I always have backup and support from Mary. Could not recommend her more! Feel free to message me if you’re looking for more feedback.
