University of Washington Midwives

These are very good midwives! I saw them through my last 3 pregnancies and they were caring and wonderful. With my 6 yr old I had very high blood pressure towards the end and he was breech. Normally, I think midwives would turn you over to doctors and in fact I had to of course have a doctor oversee my blood pressure issues and the c-​section but I asked my midwife to stay with me when an emergency CS was required and she stuck by mine and my husband’s side through the entire thing and they even came to check on me throughout my stay in the hospital even though I was technically no longer their patient. If I was planning on having more babies I wouldn’t even think twice about coming to these ladies!
