Twilight Gallery & Boutique is a destination retail shop in West Seattle. I love owner Tracy Cilona’s curated art, and artisinal jewelry and accessories. This is a great shop to purchase signature pieces for your home or your wardrobe. I love the necklace I purchased from Twilight this summer.

Best place in the junction for artisan jewelry! All the handmade awesomeness you can handle from handbags to earrings to that new painting that pulled your entire apartment together.

I had heard good things about this place, but have to say my experience was terrible, I purchased 2 rings(was NOT told that everything in the store is FINALSALE). The rings I purchased for $ 250 each the first day I wore them, the gold started to wear off showing a metal underneath, I would expect that from less expensive merchandise but not rings that cost $ 250 each. When I tried to return them, Tracey was SORUDE, tried to tell me that«there is no way this could have happened except in some alternate universe» um huh? She argued with me, didn’t let me talk, just kept telling me that it was my fault the rings gold came off. I tried a few days later to talk to her about a refund and she said, she stands behind her vendor. She told me that no one in her two years in business has anyone ever returned anything and I thought yes, because you don’t let them. Even my friend who went with me said«wow she was so rude, she won’t be in business too long if she keeps treating customers that way». HORRIBLE service, was no help when I spent $ 500 in her store. AWFUL attitude. We went to J Crew later to return something my friend had purchased and they took it back right away and we told her the story about my purchase and she was like«that’s horrible to treat customers that way, we would be so grateful to have a great customer and would never think of treating anyone that way». I would not recommend shopping here for anything.

The new owner at Twilight, Tracy Cilona, has put her heart and soul into creating a tasteful & unique Gallery & Boutique; a West Seattle gem! Every time you wander into Twilight you’ll stumble upon fresh fine art work and gorgeous gifts you’ll be itching to buy for your loved ones(and definitely for yourself!) If you’ve never been in or it’s been years since you have, put it on your West Seattle to do list and before you go, make a list of everyone you plan to shower with gifts this year!

How have I not reviewed this gem yet? Walking around this shop I have the overwhelming urge to immediately change my style to someone waaaay more fashionable than I am, have a pied-à-terre, write better poetry, drink better wine. The art here is carefully curated, while not all of it is on my «NOW, I MUSTHAVETHISNOW’ list, it’s all very much along the lines of art I’d buy, suggest, covet, rave about and/or try to scheme someone into buying me. The jewelry though, MYGODTHEJEWELRY. Tracy, the owner, is one hell of a stylist, let me tell you! The pieces range from Totally Affordable(under $ 20) to Wow, You Clearly Got that In a Chic Boutique in Some Cooler City Than This(around $ 200) statement pieces. Oh, wait, that’s just half the shop, right? The curated gallery space is in the back and if you haven’t been this month, you’re missing half the fun, lovelies. I also happen to know that they have super fun events: openings, readings, parties, cotillion balls, pie eating contests, rodeos, wait… maybe not those last few. Go there, buy stuff– it’s a PERFECT gift buying treasure chest– and visit with the friendly and knowledgeable owner about all things kul-cher-ed.

The word is that Twilight is going out of business as the owners want to move on. That’s too bad. There are so many awesome one of a kind gifts here. Personally I covet the typewriter key charms and the crazy socks. You kids will have to use Wikipedia to see what a typewriter is.

In a panic on the of my wife’s birthday, I found myself scrambling around West Seattle trying to find the«right» gift for her. Having never been in Twilight before, I thought I’d pop in and see what they had. What I found was an eclectic collection of art, clothing, jewelry, and tchotchkes. I was quickly having a great conversation with the lady behind the counter and another patron about gifts, ways to make wives happy, and great maternity shops in the area. While I didn’t find a gift there that fit my better half, they did direct me to another shop in the area that would likely have something that fit what I was looking for. I’m looking forward to going back in there to just browse with my better half on my arm.

this place was my first stop on my west seattle adventure. i was immediately attracted to the handmade crafts spotted from across the street and popped in to see what else they had to offer. Twilight has a great selection of affordable art prints and canvases, all the way to kitschy unique jewelry. It’s a bit reminiscent of the Fremont Market on Sundays, only in a cooler space and a bit cleaner :) I’ve already made a mental check-list of prints I want and can’t wait to stop in again!

I love Twilight SO much! Just a great little gallery space for showcasing local artists and artwork. And with the nicest gals ever running the joint. Super cool stuff that screams out to me that I must«BUY! BUY! BUY!» every time I pop in for a visit(bad for my wallet, that’s for sure). Whenever I’m in the Junction, this is a must stop for me… just to see what is new. Thanks for being here in West Seattle Twilight, you are a local gem indeed!

I like to support local artists. Twilight is a great place to explore some AMAZINGREGIONAL artists. But Twilight doesn’t just display artwork, they also sell everything from jewelry to socks! my friend and i were exploring all of the shops in the Junction one day and just happened to stumble upon this treasure. i’ve also met two of the three owners, and they were both really sweet and enthusiastic about their products. they also really emphasizes that the artists get paid their fair share from their products. its a cute little store that honestly i wouldn’t have seen if it hadn’t been for my little west seattle adventure with my friend but overall this place is wonderful.

I use to like this store… until I found out that every artist that summits work to be sold has to pay Submission fee of 15 dollars, which is nonrefundable. Now as an artist I know that submission fees are not uncommon for art shows or contests. However for a store to spend 2 minutes looking at your work just to say this isn’t the right venue for your work, that’s understandable but I don’t think its right for them to take your money… They say its to cover the cost of the database service and their time, I call BS!

I love alternative art and was fascinated by the newish Twilight that took over the spot where my favorite bubble tea place used to reside(Jenny’s, RIP!). I went in one day where I was the only customer looking around and was never met with a hello. The girl behind the counter was way too busy talking to someone about her $ 850 rent and money problems for some matter I can’t recall. I wasn’t trying to listen in but she was quite loud and didn’t seem to care that someone was in the store. She was on the phone for what seemed to be atleast 20 minutes. After her call she addressed me and asked was I finished(I had gotten to the area near the cash wrap and was browsing the things on the table). I told her I wasn’t and that I wondered if she had certain prints of Hillgrove I was looking for. She went into the back and came out with two large stacks of prints and told me to go through them to see. Um… ok. There was no free space to put down the piles so I had to place them on top of other art while trying to quickly go through them. It just felt really bizarre. I did find a few prints I liked and managed to get them and get out as it felt like pulling teeth to get this girl to give me more information on certain pieces in the store. The rating is an average of a 3 star and a 1 star. I give them three stars on the products and the look of the store. I would only give 1 star for the customer service. This girl did not make me feel welcome and lacked any retail talent. I know this is an hip arty store and gives local artists a place to showcase their items but I wish that they took time to pick good people to go behind their cash wrap area.

Wanting to take advantage of an unusually warm February afternoon, I walked down to the Alaska Junction in West Seattle to check out some of the little shops. The Twilight Arts Collective is one of the stores I always see on my daily bus commute, and think, «Oh, I should really go there sometime,» but never quite make it into. No more! I was finally going to see what was there. It’s not huge inside, but it is cute as a button, with colorful lime-green walls sporting sassy painted designs. You might think this would clash with the artwork displayed on the walls, but it works really well and makes it feel very fun and lively. The art tends toward the playful and cartoonish hipster genre — lots of birds and pirates — and in a fairly affordable price range, from my impoverished perspective(small woodblock paintings are as low as $ 40, and the most expensive piece I saw was $ 600). Not looking for wall art? They also have cute men’s and women’s screen-printed shirts, sassy duct-tape wallets, a few bags, and other small odds and ends. The salesperson was friendly and pleasant, but allowed me to wander around at my own pace and didn’t hover, which I liked. Sometimes I feel pressured in these little boutiques when I can feel the lone employee’s eyes on me, watching everything I look at and ready to pounce with some helpfully-meant comment if I so much as touch anything(«That’s 20 percent off today! It was made by a great designer in Portland!»). Apparently the downtown/Pike Place Market location is the main store, but I’m glad that they have a little storefront in West Seattle too, so I have cute handmade goods and art within walking distance. West Side, REPRAZENT!
