I had my hair cut by CoCo today. I felt really taken care of. I even brought in my dog Bear and he hung out with me as CoCo cut my hair. Really happy with the haircut and I didn’t feel like I was having products pushed on me — a welcome change from New York! In fact CoCo gave me advice on other places I could get my usual hair products. At $ 33, I was super happy with the price

Nice little salon tucked back in the Goodfellows building. Rusty has moved here from Emerson so I followed him over. Great haircut every time! Great with color also.

The Hair Connection team is fabulous, with Chamaine being my favorite. She has been styling my hair for 10 years and I am always pleased. Thank you Hair Connection!

Patrick has been cutting my hair for over 3 years now, and I recommend him to all my friends who are looking for a new stylist. He has always been able to match my requests with something that works for my hair type and I always feel great when I leave. He explains technique and styling tips so that I can do my do when I get home.(I have also had a cut from Coco which I was very happy with as well) The people here are take the time to get to know you and the difference is worth the price. Also I have never had product purchases pushed on me

People are balking at the price point. When you put your trust in a place for MANY years to make you look good it’s worth it. Yes, many people mention Hutch. He’s one of the many talented stylists there and all with personality. I hate to see it move but I’m thinking it’s for the better.

Hutch is worth it. HC is a place you go to make a relationship with a stylist who learns about who you are, listens to you, offers enlightenment, and flexes well honed tonsorial skill. It takes time, yes; and the extra bucks are appropriate because we all know how well a quality cut makes us feel. No offense to Rudy’s or its patrons, Rudy’s is where you go for a quick and dirty. It might work well if you have a simple buzz cut. HC, however, can become that personal experience over time that let’s you enjoy your style. I guess I only really know Hutch, but I’ve paid attention to the other folks and noticed that they all present a pleasant and warm demeanor to me whenever I’m there. And yes $ 30+ is a lot to me as I am self-employed, but I guess I feel it’s consistent with the patience and quality afforded on each visit. Back to Hutch… he gets paid by forming relationships; you will notice him asking, listening and a little teaching along the way. Fortunately, he carries himself professionally the whole time without resorting to flattery or cheaper small talk. Ain’t hard on the eyes, either.

Hutch is hot and, thanks to him, so is my hair.

I have to agree with Rick, you can find a better place to get your hair cut. Since I have short hair I can’t justify paying 30+ dollars for a haircut… but my brothers boyfriend kept telling me it’s the best place! I decided to try it out. Matt cut my hair… he was a very very nice guy… let me make that perfectly clear. He didn’t do such a great job on my hair though. I got home and looked in the mirror and it was totally uneven. One side of my head just above the ear was puffed out like he completely missed it… I ended up having to touch it up myself. If it had been a 15 dollar haircut I wouldn’t have thought twice about it… but it was 30dollars and I left him a 12dollar tip since he was such a nice guy… NEVERAGAIN!

Coco is probably the best hair dresser I have ever had. I have a trough of hair and she makes it seem so easy to manage. She has a great eye for color combination’s and a really fluid style when cutting. She is great conversationalist too… seeing as I am usually there for a couple hours. The atmosphere is really laid back and it is very clean. The price range is right in the middle, not too expensive, but not cheap either. I always get what I am looking for and she really takes my opinion into consideration when we are deciding what color or cut to go for. I recommend Coco to everyone I know who wants to get their hair done!

Hutch at Hair Connection is amazing. I just moved to Seattle and was dreading finding a stylist. Not only did he give me a new look that is super easy to take care of, he delivered it with a smile. Super friendly and easy going — looking forward to getting my haircut again. And all that for $ 33…

Matthew at Hair Connection is wonderful. He takes the time to discuss your options with you, gives a scalp massage when you’re getting a shampoo, and generally makes you feel like the focus is YOU. Which it should be! He’s also a good conversationalist, but will not interrupt if you’re engrossed in a magazine article about Doris Day. I saw him two and a half months ago for a haircut, and all it needed today was a little end maintenance. If it can stand up to that much growth without looking terrible, I’m all for it! I also got some subtle highlights that I like very much. Hair Connection has a very comfortable ambiance, and it’s very conveniently located(right next to Vivace’s streetside coffee stand). I’ll be back!

If you want cheap on the hill hit Rudy’s… If you want upper end salon visit Salon Chemistry… If you want something in between, which is to say, a nice cut at a reasonable price, go to the Hair Connection. You can trust me on this as I’m balding and if there is anything balding men fret about, it’s their disappearing hair. I’ve seen Sarah at least six times now and she’s happily worked with me to find a cut that make me look less like a guy far too young to be balding and more like a guy that just got a pretty awesome haircut for a good price. :)

hutch is my hair guy. i’ve been getting my hair cut by him for years, and the one time i cheated on him i had to have him fix it for me — i’ll never stray again. and he gives really nice head massages. by the way, where is rick going for dinner that he thinks $ 30 pays for a really nice meal? no one should trust cheap taste.

Thirty dollars for a trim? Sorry, that’s a VERY nice dinner at some of the best places in town. Unless you’re geting some color done, skip this place and head to Rudy’s.

Oh yeah, Broadway hair at it’s finest. I came across this salon after three, count them three, botched jobs by different stylists after moving to Seattle. And, I am not that picky! A friend recommended her stylist, Chamaine for cool short do’s. I will never turn back! Best stylist I’ve ever had. I’ve got thick«problem hair», but Chamaine is an expect with the thinning shears. Great with color, too.(PS — Don’t ask for Charmaine by accident when you call — the receptionist is a stickler for pronunciation, and you WILL get attitude)
