The Bicycle Doctor

Kenny got my mountain bike running smoothly and did not try to up sell me on parts. Told me what I may need to replace eventually and you can tell he likes what he does and is a genuine honest guy.

Kenny gave me a great tune up. I ride my bike pretty hard, regularly. After his TLC, this thing feels like a million bucks.
He is very friendly and approachable. I don’t enjoy going to a shop with «bike bros» and their dudeish vibe.
I’m looking forward to having Kenny take care of our bikes from now on.

Just had two bikes done today. Took my almost 30 year old bike out for a test ride and just kept going and going and going. It felt so good. Bike is as good as new. Thank you Kenny!

What a find! The Bicycle Doctor is just what my fabulous bike and I needed after a couple years of grit, glass and thorns accumulated during the daily commute. Top on my list: some good tires as I was weary of flats. Kenny took a look at the bike and suggested a couple of other things: a new chain and fresh brake pads, etc. all good calls since I have been commuting for years without any attention to the bike. After a thorough cleaning (it gleams!) and tuning the bike is one again a sweet ride… Kenny is passionate about bikes and riding. I felt that he tended to my bike as if it were his own. His rates are incredibly reasonable… you won’t find better care for the price in the city, truly. Do yourself a favor, especially those who commute, see the good Doctor. Happy cycling!

I had my bike worked on by Kenny and I thought he did an overall fine job on my bike.
I try to keep my old commuter bike at the «safe» level of maintenance, so my expectations are generally pretty low. I’ve had various people work on my bike and I feel like this tune up wasn’t the quality that I’ve received from others. About two weeks after the work my bike felt worse than before. It is now having terrible chain problems and when I tried to figure out what was going on there was copious amounts of hardened goop on my gears. I had to scrape that off, but my chain is still having problems.
I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt that perhaps my bike is just too old and needs some new parts, but I was really expecting my tune up to feel more drastic and that the affects would last longer because this is service/​results I have seen in the past from others.
I don’t think I’ll be back.
