Love this place. It’s just your basic Thai menu with well made food and a quiet, comfortable atmosphere. The staff is nice, the wait is never that long. The only downside is the size of the restaurant itself. On some busy nights i had to just take mine to go rather than waiting for casual diners to finish their conversations and move along.

I really love the drunken noodle here. And their fried rice is excellent. The portions are considerably large and the flavors are delicious. However, this place is hit or miss. After a couple of great orders from here, I made a last minute order for soup and fried rice. If they felt they didn’t want to take my order so late(20 minutes before closing) they should’ve simply denied my order. Instead I went to pick up my order and when I got home the side of fish sauce was missing. The fried rice was sticky and big portions were left white and gummy.(Like they had dug out the bottom of the rice cooker and gave me the over cooked shit). The soup had an odd smell and taste. I’m not sure what we had but it wasn’t what we expected as returning customers. My hubby and I were so disappointed we didn’t touch the food and didn’t return for 6 – 8 months. Now to make sure we don’t experience the same difficulties we order at least 1 hour before closing.

Tried it for the first time the other night. Pretty darn good. We got the Pad Thai with one star. I would definitely get it again. Seemed a little greasy but… I dont know if it’s the restaurant or the cuisine. Either way… Pretty darn tasty

Tasty food, average prices. Excellent customer service. I got the drunken noodles, Thai fried rice, and papaya salad. They were all so good. I will definitely be returning!

Run or drive elsewhere!!! I have been here numerous times, they serve a large community from Beacon Hill to Mount Baker, so they really need to keep up with the area. It’s messy and dirty, inside and out. I’m having a hard time liking the place now. Even when you order to go it always takes over an hour, today 1 hour and forty five minutes, you end up sitting there waiting… I see them microwaving things to serve. The servers could barely put a smile on there face, and take out… forget about customer service! The crispy chicken is not same, which is my family favorite. Someone please recommend another Thai place in the hood! This neighborhood got too big for Thai recipe and they have forgotten quality and service. I’m done with them.

I came here close to closing on a Saturday and had great service! My sister ordered Thai iced tea which was pretty sweet for our preferences. I ordered the red curry with soft tofu. The curry came with bamboo shoots(lots actually) and a few sprinkled bell peppers. It wasn’t bad, but I wish it had more variety. My sister got chicken pad thai which was really good. Service was great and quick! I’d come back if I was in the area and would not get the red curry again.

Two stars for fast service. I called in an order and it was ready in like 5 minutes. The cashier friendly! The food: pad thai had egg shells. Even worse, it had this really bad vinegar smell and taste! So bad that people at my office asked if I was eating homeless socks! It was horrible. The noodles were stuck together and clumpy. I went based on the reviews and maybe I just got the chef on a bad night. Unfortunately I will not be going back. To make things worse I had gut rot and mud butt the rest of the night.

I love this place! It is kind of dumpy but don’t be fooled by the appearance! They are slammed busy almost all the time. They do a huge takeout business. I have been in there waiting for my order and they are too busy to answer the phone! I love that they offer brown rice and have a complete menu! YUM!!!

I only ever get take-out here and have only tried the pad thai, crab wontons and salad. Consistently good thai take out and reasonable prices. The staff is also super nice and they make my order quickly.(Again, I’ve never eaten in so can’t speak to the table service). I also like the ambience of this place. Definitely not the best Thai food in Seattle but it’s convenient and the best I’ve tried in the Beacon Hill/Rainier Ave area.

I used to go to Thai recipe all the time two years ago when I visited Seattle. But this time when I came and ordered the pad Thai it wasn’t the same. I feel it’s too sweet and salty. Also we saw some eggshell in the dish and when we told the waitress she just said sorry and didn’t try to fix the dish. I was disappointed as I loved that restaurant. I really wish them good luck and to go back to when it was delicious and reasonable price like 2 years ago.

Honestly everything was a bit saltier than I would like. I got the pud see ew, yellow curry(did not come with rice), and Thai fried rice. Nothing too special but the portions were pretty big and filling. I would come back but only if I’m in the area and don’t have anywhere else to go. Very limited parking, adorable and petite Thai restaurant!

So quick, so tasty. Can’t go wrong with this place. Their phone number is conveniently saved in my phone because I always take out an order from them on the way home when ain’t nobody got time to cook dinner. One time my boyfriend and I dined in and noticed the abstract paintings on the walls. He confidently exclaimed«I could paint a better painting than that.» Upon closer inspection, the painting was done by an elephant in Thailand.

Love me some Thai food! I’m always up for some Phad Thai or pud see ew, so I decided to try this place very close to my school for lunch. Reasonable pricing, under $ 10 for a dish, the wait can be a while depending on the line tho. They have great Thai tea, my fav, yummy! Coming back here for lunch whenever I’m craving.

Good thai food in a nice convenient location. I had the pad see ew with 2 star spice, which was very very good. If I had to nit-pick I would have appreciated a more of the veggies, because mine only came with maybe 4 pieces of broccoli. My boyfriend had the Emerald Garlic chicken which he enjoyed, and thought was a nice change of pace because we haven’t seen this offered before at a thai restaurant. Although he enjoyed it, I am a bit skeptical about the chinese-inspired dishes and I’d prefer to stick to the traditional thai options because that is definitely their specialty. The service was standard for a small, relatively busy spot. She came around to check on us every once in a while and promptly brought our food when it was ready. No complains here. Prices were standard and very fair for the large portion size. I would definitely recommend and return!

You’ll find some solid thai food here! I like going to Mali Thai by south center, but this place satisfies my cravings and is a good option for the area(they’re also a lot friendlier). It’s not a fancy restaurant, but it’s got a nice homey feel to it. The staff is small, and they genuinely want you to have a nice meal and experience. One thing to note, the food is much better when dining in. I think it’s a combination of the packaging they use, and the fact that it’s hot food. So duh! Things can get a little steamy and the condensation can disrupt how the food is meant to be presented(basically it gets watery and bland). So pop open the lid, or just dine in! Favorite items: –Crab delight(crispy and delicious, you get about 5 pieces) –Pad see ew(I ALWAYS order this when I go here!!! good portion and ratio of meat, veggies, and noodles) –Panang Curry –Crispy Chicken w/Basil(a cheaper version of the one at Bai Tong, doesn’t compare, but still good!) –Thai iced tea(nice and strong!) Items to Pass on: –Pineapple Curry(delicious, but a little too watery, flavor was there but it wasn’t thick like curry should be)

I think that the price is great for the portion size that you get. And since I live just down the road, I eat here at least once a week, I love it that much! I don’t dine in very often but when I do, the staff are always so nice, and I never have to wait long on my food!

This place is kinda tucked behind O’Reilly’s in the corner. Average price for Thai food. The server is pretty funny and was cracking jokes with us when we were ordering. Nice vibes. We got our usual order — pad kee mao, a curry(opted for Panang), and crab wontons as appetizers. The portion size was HUGE. They are superrr generous on the pad kee mao. I had plenty left over for lunch the next day. The food came out pretty quick. They accidentally gave us pad see yew instead of pad kee mao but that was quickly switched. We got 2 stars(out of 4) on both and it was a little too spicy for me but still bearable. Crab wontons were nice and meaty. Pad kee mao’s texture is a little different than what I’ve had. The noodles were cut much smaller, making the whole dish a little mooshier(because of all the sauce absorption). The color was quite dark so I was afraid it would be very saucy and salty, but it had a nice flavor. The curry had nice flavors and was pretty standard. We also got Thai iced tea and it was perfect. I would definitely come back! Lots of dishes to try that’s different from your standard Thai restaurant, too. Nice service. I’d be happy to give them my business!

The food was delicious and didn’t take too long to come out taking in consideration the crowd that they had. But the customer service could definitely be better. I asked for some clarification on the dishes and all she did was point at the menu, like okay you didn’t think I read that already?

Portions so big, I was eatttin good for dinner, the next day’s breakfast AND lunch! Ordered my staple, Pad See Ew with Beef. Flavors are subtle, which I can appreciate but I usually prefer it a bit more bold. I still enjoyed the dish very much, though a few additional broccoli florets and some carrot slices would’ve aided in the guilt. Very friendly staff, they take the time to converse with you as you wait without it coming off as too much or just creepy lol. Service is prompt, and prices are decent… not cheap but I’d say comparable to other places in the area. Overall, the menu is pretty standard for what you’d expect at a Thai spot, lacks any creativity or originality BUT, if you’re gonna stick with the traditional dishes, you better do it right. Works out for me anyway, cause I rarely stray away from my usual orders: P.
