Quick and simple, satisfied my curry cravings. Pros– Brown rice, white meat chicken, rice & curry served in a bowl which makes it easy to dive into, price, friendly owners Cons– sorta stingy with the chicken

Yeah, it’s pretty bad. Three small pieces of dry chicken, a few bland overcooked carrots, potatoes, and onions and about ¼ cup of curry over a massive portion of mushy white rice. Four bites and it’s in the compost. Guess I’ll make a sandwich. Not recommended, sadly. Agreed, the lady at the window was very nice and helpful so hopefully the owners will read this and step up their game.

It’s quick, the owner is sweet and friendly, but the food is just awful. Flavorless red curry: tastes like salt. And almost 24 hrs later my gut is still distressed. I’d avoid it.

I love this little shack. They have cheap Thai Iced Tea, $ 1.99. They also have delicious Roti desserts. It is affordable and quick. It is a little shack in the middle of a parking lot. It makes it to drive through and grab a snack or meal on your way home. The woman working there was very friendly as well.

Kao Mun Gai… Makes my mouth water just writing this review. Even the complimentary soup was great. Service was way above average for a random food booth in a parking lot. I’ll be back…

I liked it. It was pretty good. Price to value ratio was excellent. The guy working was super nice. But you’re counting the stars above and asking yourself… So what isn’t she saying? That the food comes pre-packaged from their other location I’m guessing, but seriously, did you think they could cook in that tiny space? This isn’t a bad thing but it’s something that’s good to know as they can’t alter any of the ingredients on the dishes and I’m one of ‘those’ people who always ask for that. It’s also a bit awkward to wait for your food there, but that’s just me I guess.

I love this place. It is a tiny shack, the hours are ridiculous, the music is atrocious, but the food is just terrific. Cheap, good portions, and simple. Please try the Roti, because it is way cooler than you will ever be. Fact.

I had the chicken massaman curry and I thought it was pretty good. For an under 10 dollar lunch, you can’t complain. The service was fast too.

I was surprised to find this place while I was hunting for nike products. i love thai simple back at the china town, but this place doesn’t serve my lovely pud thai and I can see why. there’s only one person running this little store, which was across the street from the Ferrari building and behind this cobra looking place. this place only have 4 dishes on the menu, which was all curry and they were all pre-made, so that’s why it comes out so fast. I ordered their massumon curry and it was surprisingly good for a pre made meal. the potatoes and carrots were soft and chewy, the sauce was great and the chicken was plentiful. portion was great for the price, but please get a cook back there for your pud thai! oh yeah, they have about 4 – 5 seats in the front of the little booth, but i would rather take it to go and bounce if you’re in a group of peeps.

Thai Curry Simple 2 is a national treasure. Try the Panang Tofu, it’s wonderful and vegan. Ask for 2 hot sauces. Get the Thai Iced Coffee if you like spiced sweet things(they have soy milk available). A perfect quick lunch. Five stars for the quick delicious cheap vegan street food. They would get six stars if they were open on weekends. Seven stars if they were open at night. Eight stars if they expand their menu for summer!

my wife’s review was filtered. She is real person, ate the food, gave a bad review. Would have made the average go down. Come on Unilocal. This was an honest review.

Thai. Curry. Simple. Exactly. Today there was a choice of 4 dishes. Being that I’m not up for much spice these days(who am I kidding? This is Seattle! Nothing’s spicy!), I went for the Panang Tofu and a thai iced tea. I thoroughly enjoyed both. Everything was ready in about 3 minutes, piping hot, generous portion, and both for around $ 8.50. And I have lunch for tomorrow! Only negative is the parking lot is tiny, so I had to squat illegally for a couple of minutes. Also thought it interesting that they offered pad thai sauce in a gift set, but didn’t offer actual pad thai. I know, the place says«Curry». But still, I’m always down for pad thai. And hopefully when the weather turns, they’ll have a couple of tables for some alfresco dining.

My wife(Charlene) and I(her husband) have been hearing rave reviews about this place since it opened. Today we desperately needed a real treat so we said, «Let’s get some food from Thai Curry Simple 2!» We were so excited, getting home and expecting to experience joy. But dinner was anything but joyful. We have had Thai food from all over Seattle — Thai food is our favorite genre — and we both found this the worst tasting crap we have ever tasted. I had the Red Curry — my wife had the Barbecue Chicken — and we felt embarrassed and apologetic«serving» this garbage to our trash can. We are not critical foodies. Quite the opposite. We go out to eat very rarely, when we can, or we get food from outside, very rarely when we can. We look to have fun and we love giving praise when praise is due. But for Thai Curry Simple 2, if I could give this place minus stars, I would. The experience was sickening.

Sweet, bitter, and spicy: the Thai Iced Coffee is a dream, even in winter. I’ve gone twice and had the green chicken and the panang tofu, both with brown rice. Flavors were rich and bold, but there was a HEAVY ratio of rice(yum, brown rice) to curry. They do let you bring your own(reusable) container. Service was friendly and efficient.

Barista Boyz no more. I haven’t been to the original Thai Curry Simple, but this place is solid. Quick service, the Red curry chicken was yummy, and most everything is $ 6 or $ 7. You have the option of white or brown rice. I wish their could have been some sort of vegetable side — it’s straight up curry, your protein, over a bowl of rice. Right now it’s cash-only. This joins the ranks of Chatterbox and Yasuko’s as other ethnic cuisine in the immediate vicinity.

I’m pleased that someone has done something well with this location, I dropped by for lunch and got an excellent veggie-ful red curry. The service was friendly, quick, chili paste and phrik nam pla offered, the to-go container was solid plastic and retained the heat well. For 6 $ I was well satisfied. The hours are a bit restrictive for the times I’m in the area, but I would have no problem coming back whenever the stars align again.
