Its a little pricier than some places. What i did was I grabbed it to go, and brought it back to Fremont brewing to consume. It was still piping hot by the time I got it back to the brewery. I dont get it with the salad. I double up on the rice. And they give you more than enough chicken and not tiny strips. Huge chunks of meat and just enough sauce.

I have eaten here for a long time and I always like it a lot. The food here is great especially the chicken curry, I like curry. And it’s easy to park too!

I get lunch from here sometimes and am always satisfied. I am a pretty basic teriyaki guy, usually just stick to the chicken teriyaki or the spicy chicken teriyaki — and both are good here. They do weekly specials for $ 7.49(different things each day) and also have a chicken teriyaki bowl on the menu for $ 5.79 any day. The only downside I have for this place is they charge $ 1.00 to make it spicy!

Unexpected Bomb Korean food! I went in looking to get teriyaki, which I did, but my wife ordered some of their Korean food,(soup and bibimbap) and it was on point! I always come here for their chicken and their teriyaki sauce is probably the best Ive had in seattle.

I feel bad for the people who’ve had bad experiences here, but I have only had great ones. I’ve only ordered two things, beef teriyaki and gyoza. The beef teriyaki is on point — pretty lean, broiled and well done, and the best teriyaki sauce I’ve had in Seattle. White rice is sticky and good, and I dig the cabbage salad as well. Gyoza is totally solid too. By far my favorite teriyaki in Seattle.

Tried the teriyaki chicken, the gyoza and the short ribs. All were just gross. Not sure how you screw up pre-frozen gyoza, but they did.

This is my teriyaki go to spot. They have excellent lunch specials throughout the week. It’s teriyaki people you can’t really complain when you pay $ 9 bucks. Try it

Noticing that most of my past reviews were mostly only one star or five stars(I never think to Unilocal when something is simply satisfactory), I thought maybe I should post a review that was«middle of the road». I’ve been going to Teriyaki Madness for at least six years. I live in Wallingford and when I’m headed home on I-5, sometimes I like to call in an order for takeout. They always have my food ready in 10 minutes or less. I usually get the beef and chicken combo. The portions are larger than average; if I’m getting it for lunch, I know I’ve got dinner as well. The quality is fine. I’ve had better and I’ve had much worse. There is no ambience. And there isn’t a hint of friendliness from the woman who is almost always working the counter. That’s fine because, hey, when I’m getting take out I don’t need someone to chat with me and ask me how my day’s going while other customers wait for their orders. But I have often thought that a smile would be nice. I can’t remember if she even says«thank you» when she hands me my food. The next time I go in I’ll pay extra attention and if she thanks me for my patronage, I’ll change my review to four stars.. .

We decided to try Teriyaki Madness while staying at UWMC. Best food we had the entire week. I definitely recommend. We had the spicy chicken and Chicken and Gyoza. Great all around.

My wife and I have lived in Wallingford for a few years, and our orders here had always been greasy and reasonably priced, filling our occasional yakisoba cravings. However, even though it is the only teriyaki place in Wallingford, we are no longer patrons. This change is because of the final time my wife and I ordered yakisoba. We placed it as take out and took the orders home while still wrapped in plastic. However, upon opening the take out containers, my wife’s noodles had dozens of large, black chunks of plastic — roughly the size of raisins — all over her food. The best comparison would be someone taking a large, plastic spatula, putting it into a blender, and sprinkling the remains over her food. It was shockingly obvious and beyond inedible. This would have been a choking hazard for our two-year-old son. At my insistence, she went all the way back to explain the situation to ask for a refund, to which the cashier responded, «so… how much do you want?» My wife asked for her $ 10 back, which was given, and the transaction was complete. That’s it. No apologies, no concern. This was business as usual. This is going to happen again in a similar capacity to someone else. If you, for whatever reason, decide to dine here: proceed with extreme caution.

Best pork kimchee soup ever! Also called soon dou boo. Tasty & filling when ordered with brown rice. Friendly Korean lady. They cook fast & taste delicious. Great price on this dish compared to getting it at Korean restaurants.

I am giving this place three starts, but that may be generous. The teriyaki sauce is weak, almost bland, and the chicken was overcooked. They put extra teriyaki sauce on the table in a used chili sauce bottle, which detracted from the food. Also they ask for $.50 for a refill, when other places they are free. I do not know if I will come back.

This review is not on the food… because I didn’t even want to eat there! Walked in one day hoping for some cheap yummy teriyaki to relive my college days. not 5 seconds into the restaurant I saw flies everywhere… Lost my appetite right there and then and walked out. Please clean the place up because I’d love to find out how yummy your food is.

Gotta love me some madness! Perhaps my favorite eatery in all of Wallingford, Teriyaki Madness has been my go to for a quick meal for as long as I can remember. And I have been craving it for the last 6 months since I have moved away! Their menu is filled with a variety of the usual teriyaki dishes(short ribs, spicy chicken, beef, etc), as well as ramen, yakisoba, udon and a nice selection of Korean dishes such as tofu soup, bulgogi and bibimbop. Each teriyaki entrée is accompanied with two generous scoops of rice(they have both white and brown) and a scoop of salad. Let me just pause and give their salad the praise it deserves, it is more of an Asian vinegar slaw, crunchy as well as sweet and sour it is the perfect accompaniment to the meal. Also, because it is so similar to a slaw you don’t have to worry about the mysterious white dressing dripping from the lettuce and getting mixed in with your rice and meat.(Maybe its just me but this is my ultimate pet peeve when it comes to teriyaki.) My favorite dish is their short ribs, each entrée comes with 3 ribs all cut up and ready for devouring. Simply amazing. For those of you who are looking to cut down on your carbs they also you to substitute the rice for all salad. In addition the kimchee side they offer is delicious, a perfect blend of sour and spicy, they make it themselves so sometimes they run out so come early! And if you’re looking for some variety in your meat, they offer sides of beef or chicken as well! They have a credit card minimum of $ 5, but if you’re completely strapped the surcharge is only $.30. They are a great option if you’re looking to take out or if you want to call ahead and quickly grab your order. Their dining room has multiple seating areas for groups up to 6 as well. Also, their menu says no added MSG and they use non transfat oil. Its the little things — win.

I was quite pleasantly surprised at the flavor, portion size, vast array of dishes to choose from and quality of the food here. I was in the area and needed a quick, low-budget eat before heading off to an appointment. The chicken is super good — perfectly cooked without under or over cooking. Lots of flavor in the meat and in the fried rice. I look forward to coming back!

The Yak is run of the mill Seattle teriyaki. Korean food was weak, almost packaged tasting. Trust me, I know Korean food. I’m from Kansas. This place is ok for to go food, but my experience sucked. The lady who took our order also sucked 90% of the energy out of the room through her black hole of emotion demeanor. The remaining 10% was masked by thin Kimchee and likely the least flavorful intonation of steamed veggies my wife had ever experienced. The one saving grace was that when we needed a napkin, energy vortex kindly provided one. One napkin.

Okay I don’t usually leave one star reviews, but my last visit to this place has turned me away for good. I’ve eaten here before and have been happy with the service and the teriyaki is decent. I went there a couple days ago, placed my order, got my food and sat down. And discovered that there were tiny flys all over the place, in my food, and feeding on the sauce containers that are out in the open(see my pics for the disgusting details). I lost my appetite and left. Simple housekeeping such as wiping the condiment bottles down and securing them after customers eat would probably eliminate this disgusting problem. Sorry, I’m not a fan of eating insects so I’m done with this place.

I think three stars was a bit low. This is a great go-to lunch place: cheap, fast, and satisfying. Healthy options that still taste good. Woman at the counter always remembers my order. Plus! Update! They, for some reason, have now started serving the good salad dressing! Exclamation points make me seem dorkily way too excited about this!

I love this place. I love the curry, I love the teriyaki, and I love being able to have brown rice. It’s a Wallingford spot that has parking, and although the ambiance is «strip mall,» the food is tasty, convenient, and served quickly.

«Spicy chicken to go,» said the owner in her very distinct Korean accent. As a side note, owning a restaurant like this would be hard. She, and many other restaurant owners everywhere, comes every single day from open to close. That’s commendable, if not also crazy. Their spicy chicken teriyaki is top notch. Average portion. Maybe a little bit more expensive than the average teriyaki spot. Other than that, teriyaki is pretty much teriyaki. They do have a fairly extensive menu, and give you options of Chinese, Korean, and Japanese food. thug life.
