Shared a burger with hubby. I think it was a holiday and they happened to be open, which was very exciting. The burger was simple and straight forward, nothin fancy. I enjoyed the tots a whole lot :) probably fries and tots was too much though, haha.

This was a last minute decision and it was a good one. The burgers are amazing, so many choices. The butter garlic fries aren’t for anyone starting their New Year diet, but oh so good. The staff here is so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Had been to Teddy’s in Honolulu and was excited to see this one right in Greenlake. Had the Hawaiian burger with added swiss cheese and bacon. I ordered it medium but … it came well done thus the loss of one star. Overall though the burgers are excellent. The counter guy was especially patient. We will be back!

I’ve been to most of the popular Seattle burger places before, so when I saw that a new Teddy’s opened, I decided to give them a try. I went with the Bacado burger with tots instead of the fries. I don’t like mayo-based sauces, so I requested BBQ sauce instead. There was about a 10 minute wait before the food arrived. The burger arrived, but unfortunately the BBQ sauce didn’t. As I was really hungry, I decided to start eating it with the special sauce. There was a bit too much of it, so I had to scrape some off. The sauce want bad, it’s just not what I would normally order. The burger itself was good, as were the seasoned tots. Hot and crispy, as they should be. You will definitely need many napkins, as the burger is quite messy. A nice touch is that they come by with a wet napkin when you are about to finish your meal. I told the guy about my order mixup and he apologized for the error. It’s a bit pricey, but still a solid choice in this city with many good burger options.

This is a legit burger place. I tried one of the spicy burger and omg, the burger patty was juicy and delicious. We also got tater tots and umami fries and both was awesome as well. The tots were crunchy, the fries had great flavor with the sauce. I would definitely come back though just for the burger patty. The only I would criticize the size. I got the bigger burger and it look like a normal burger elsewhere. So I was a little disappointed when I saw it

I don’t even know where to start. So many delicious options, and each one of them delicious every time I’ve had them. I don’t take as long anywhere else when deciding what to get. Someone mentioned their special sauce, and I concur. Delicious. Everything has always been cooked just right, whether chicken breast, fries, or burgers. When they first opened, I had a batch of tots that was over-seasoned, and by the time I came back(I had barely said anything the first time – they were still good), the manager(owner, maybe?) was apologizing from last time(having remembered) and assured me my concerns were valid and the issue had been resolved. Never been a problem since, and the tots are not to be missed. Also, I love that the give you a TON of avocado(always perfectly ripe, btw) when you ask for an addition. Service is consistently great. I’m just totally out of words. OH! There’s usually a coupon out there, too, which helps since it IS on the pricier end of burger places. It’s no Dick’s in price, but it’s no Dicks in quality either – heads and shoulders above. Okay, NOW I’m out of words. :-) I should mention that I’m rating it as two bills because I can’t get out of there with just a burger, so it’s about $ 12 most of the time.

This place really surprised me as my expectations were fairly low for an order-at-the-counter burger joint. The guy who rung us up was incredibly friendly and helpful when we divulged we had just moved to the area(explained how composting works, etc., ahhaha) and gave us the run-down on Teddy’s and all the ways you can customize your burger. I chose a simple order — the Original in the«Big» size(i.e. the smallest one out of Big/Bigger/Biggest) and got my fries with garlic seasoning. Service was fast but not like a fast-food joint; it’s obviously cooked to order and tastes like it, too. :) All the ingredients were of good quality and made for quite the satisfying burger. Unless you’re starving I think the«big» size won’t leave you wishing for much more. The fries were completely addictive and super salty as you might expect of a powdery garlic seasoning. A clean, bright, welcoming spot with not-gross bathrooms and adequate seating both indoor and out. I enjoyed the bit of Hawaiian flair with MAHALO posted all over the place. Next time I go I’ll have to indulge in one of their allegedly«extra thick» shakes. They offer chocolate-peanut-butter. Ut oh.

My boyfriend and I came here for their daily HH. Their burgers and beer with small fries came out to about $ 10 without any special toppings. Their burger is cooked perfectly, pink in the middle for the medium cooked patties. The buns were really soft and the sauce was delish. I’m a sucker for a pretty burger and that was a pretty burger indeed(pretty lettuce and tomatoes)…until I started eating it. It was so messy, but that’s the fun part of eating I guess! I got the volcano burger which I believe had a different cheese than their usual with lots of jalapeños! I would come here for happy hour again.

So excited when this place opened up last year! I’ve had Teddy’s on Oahu and this place is a perfect example of Teddy’s on the island. I try and come here every week at least once. The burgers are cooked perfectly, the other ingredients are super fresh and crisp. I get the Bacado style burger that has half an avocado on top. Top it off with a super thick milkshake and you have the best Sunday afternoon on a cool day at Greenlake meal. The staff is the best and the owner one of the nicest entrepreneurs you’ll ever meet. Also their parking garage is a lifesaver. No waiting, no haggling for a spot. They have an entire garage. To review. Burgers. Shakes. Parking. Nice people.

My girlfriend and I first tried Teddy’s Bigger Burgers when we were doing some wine tasting in Woodinville. We were really impressed by the burgers, and we even bought a bottle of their Kilauea Fire Sauce which we used to make some really great BBQ pulled pork. My girlfriend lives in the Green Lake area, so when she received a coupon for Teddy’s in the mail, we decided to check out the Green Lake location. Although Teddy’s has many intriguing menu options, I stuck with my choice from Woodinville of the Kilauea Fire Burger with spicy BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, bacon, and an onion ring. My girlfriend ordered a crispy chicken sandwich, and we shared a chocolate shake. The burger was just as impressive as last time. It was cooked to perfection and well-seasoned. I could not get enough of the spicy fire sauce. All of the ingredients worked in harmony with each other. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the chicken sandwich was on the same level as the burgers. The chicken was juicy and the yellow sauce complemented the chicken nicely. I can’t overstate how great each of the ingredients is in terms of both taste and quality at Teddy’s. The fries were outstanding too. The chocolate shake was tasty, but to be honest, it wasn’t that much better than a Wendy’s Frosty. I probably wouldn’t get a shake there again. In addition to the food being great, the service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. Teddy’s is my new favorite burger chain. I really hope they add more locations in California.

In one word: Delicious. A delicious burger experience with so many customizable options! You can even pick how much you’d like your meat cooked. Also they have beer Staff were helpful and very friendly. Great atmosphere with the Hawaiian theme. Just a really chill, legit spot. With great portions, great ingrediants and a ton of options you will definitely leave here full and happy.

I’m totally thrilled with Teddy’s! Stopped in this evening based on all the awesome reviews already posted. Plus the deal is great too! They have a super solid happy hour with $ 3 beers. «Burger and beer» specials make this place an easy stop when kicking off your night. Grab a quick and delicious burger and head out! It’s a super casual atmosphere, with a little bit of sidewalk seating, plus booths and a place to look out over Greenlake. The burgers are fantastic! You can just just about any topping you want and they cook it to the temp you want, harder to find at a place this casual and fast! I got a medium burger, with pepper jack, bacon, mushrooms, lettuce, and special sauce plus cheese fries(since I’m a sucker for that super processed cheese sauce). The Hawaiian theme means great Longboard beers and a laid back vibe. Check it out soon!

Teddy’s is toward the top of the list of my all time favorite burger stops in Seattle; and I have been to many! Always a juicy meaty well seasoned burger coupled with fresh cut veggies on a soft full potato bun. Choose your appetite, do you need a 5 oz, a 7 oz or a mean 9 oz burger? I know my limits, the 7 oz burger has been very good to me. My favorite is the Hawaiian burger, that is with pineapple of course. Then, for 69 cents, I add jalapeños to my burger. When my game is just completely on point, I ask them to add their volcano sauce to the burger as well, so good! This is the perfect mix of pineapple sweet and pepper spicy hot. Love it! There is a small outside dining area if you are in the mood for some people watching. I often sit and try to calculate how many laps around Green Lake it would take to burn off this burger. Hint: Use the building’s west side garage entrance for easy parking.

I;m not a huge fan of burgers so it may seem like i’m kinda being biased… but i thought the burgers were okay. The biggest thing about these burgers though, is that its not OILY! thats one thing i hate about eating burgers and this burger was not dripping at all, which i thought was a +1! You can eat outside and enjoy your beer. Good place to eat, and you can also take a nice walk after!

I went to Teddy’s last week for dinner, around 8pm. I think they were understaffed perhaps for the crowd(but it wasn’t all that huge) and also had some deliver Bite orders going. The ordering process kind of took a long time, and then a bit of a wait as well for our food. I guess the«fast food» style and décor of the restaurant made me think the food would come quicker. I got a burger and fries. I can’t remember what all was on the burger, because it was a whole lot of sauces and stuff. The burger I got was good, but it was pretty expensive for what you get. I guess I’m comparing it to Red Mill style burgers, and Red Mill is a lot cheaper.(And maybe that’s wrong of me…) Overall, Teddy’s was good but not awesome. A solid burger, but the toppings choices and style of menu was a little overwhelming for me. When there’s so many great burger options in Seattle, it’s tough to pick Teddy’s as my go-to.

Wow… this place is amazing, and I have the heartburn to prove it! An acquaintance of mine repeatedly told me how great Teddy’s was, how it originated in Honolulu, and how it was the best burger she’s ever had. I had never heard of it, and I have Hawaiian background, so I forgot about it for awhile. I had the opportunity to stop in here for lunch, and man, she wasn’t wrong ATALL. My first impression is that the employees are super friendly and helpful. The shift lead, Risa, was very knowledgeable of the background of the company and gave me some suggestions for a burger based on my tastes. It was really hard to choose. I eventually chose the Western burger(beef, BBQ sauce, cheddar, bacon, and an onion ring), substituted a spud(think of the most delicious oversized hashbrown you’ve ever had) for the onion rings, and ordered it without special sauce and well done. Got fries and a drink to go with it, because, why not? (You can choose what size burger you want, starting at 5 oz., which is already massive.) Sat at a very nice window booth so that I could people watch runners, inevitably burning calories while I consumed 193898321983291, at Greenlake. I am kicking myself now for not taking a picture of the final product, because it was glorious… just the perfect combination of bacon to cheese and beef, etc. The spud was a super interesting and nice touch. And the BBQ sauce! Not the traditional but amazing. I ate the entire thing plus most of the fries, and I am usually a half-burger kind of girl, hence, the heartburn. I immediately emailed my dad(who is from Honolulu) and told him that we have to go to the Waikiki location when we are there over Spring Break. If you’re in the Greenlake area, you have to stop and try this place. There are so many other burgers I’d like to try, especially the ones with teri sauce. Although I didn’t have one(I would have exploded), it looks like the shakes are absolutely gluttonously good. And if you find yourself in Hawaii, obviously give it a try. I’ve read a few other reviews, and I have to say, I don’t think Teddy’s is advertising or trying to be a gourmet burger place, so the harsh reviews are pretty unfair. I don’t know what people see in Red Mill or Blue Moon(terrible). Just because Oprah says it’s good doesn’t mean it is. I found the prices to be very reasonable. If you order a 9 oz. burger, fries, and a milkshake, you should expect to pay more than you would at a fast food restaurant. Pake! Thanks for the tasties and heartburn, Teddy’s! So worth it. *I* will be back.

How can anyone not love their incredible milkshakes… easily the top 3 in my life. called ahead to do pickup before they close surprisingly early for a Friday Nite 9pm. this good sized location doesn’t have the fish tank LOL. located in a bit of busy road off Aurora. liked this seating layout, more of a box. turns out there’s an even bigger size that ppl rarely orders haha.

Premium taste, premium quality, for a premium price. And that’s okay. I got their 7oz Teri Burger. It is one of the Original Burgers with less ingredients then a lot of their other stuff. I don’t regret it for my first burger. Fresh ingredients, stacked high, and very filling. One of the best burgers I’ve had in Seattle. Def will eat here more often.

In the mood for a BURGER? Teddy’s Bigger Burger’s is as good as it gets. Like some others I tried Teddy’s in Hawaii first. I remember thinking they should have some of these shops on the mainland. Then Cortana told me there’s one in nearby Greenlake. Honey get the car keys! Plus this one has free parking — in the Greenlake area that is a huge plus. The quality is the same here as in Hawaii. Attentive staff, excellent options(great toppings, plus turkey, fish etc for the non-beefers out there). They obey the number one rule of restauranteurship: DON’T SKIMP. The phrase«hey that’s stacked too high!» is never uttered at Teddy’s Bigger Burgers. It’s meaningless! Special orders are no problem: Medium Rare? Sure. Add mushrooms to that: YEP! See attached photo for Volcano Burger. If Red Mill were next door to Teddy’s I’d have to flip a coin to decide where to dine. Though honestly, there are more options available at Teddy’s. It hasn’t been crowded either time I’ve been to Teddy’s. I almost wonder whether they shouldn’t change their name. I wouldn’t have ventured in if I hadn’t been to a Teddy’s in Hawaii for example. It’s like naming a band«Dixie Dregs» or «Porcupine Tree» — based on the names they sound silly and amateurish; when in fact they’re awesome. Teddy’s Bigger Burgers is the Dixie Dregs of restaurants: deserving more attention!
