1rst visit, three taco special lunch plate was
Great surprise. Soft warm tortillas overflowed with fresh ingredients and real meats. Not the dried out crunchy kernels served at some taco trucks. These folks care about quality, flavor and value. The carne asada was tender and generous in quantity as was the fried pork. All hot and fresh! Two very distinctly different flavors seasoned with fresh onion, cilantro and salsas. Plate comes with very good rice and beans, picked spicy carrots, peppers, radishes, lime and two terrific salsas. Bonus free salsa bar is available as well. I’ll be back when I’m in the mood for an authentic taqueria and in this neighborhood again. Great to find this one!

I have never loved a food truck this much before. La Fondita is amazing.

7. Short waiting time despite the food being made upon order
8. Location: convenient yet just secluded enough

10. Authentic meat selection: tongue and tripe
11. Parking lot right next door (McLendon’s overflow parking technically)
There are so many things on the menu that it keeps this food truck really exciting. We will see if I ever venture beyond the burrito special!
