Every time I’m at the convention centre I have to eat at this Taco Del Mar. The build your own burrito is STUFFED with deliciousness. it’s as thick as my wrist, and I’m by no means a skinny person. The TDM near my house doesn’t fill their burritos that much, which is disappointing, but all the more reason to look forward to the con centre TDM when I’m up that way for PAX Prime or ECCC.

Do you like inattentively served, soggy, flavorless burritos? If so, this is for you. If not, stay away. There are plenty of better places to get a bite to eat in the area.

This location pretty much was one of my mainstays for a quick and mostly inexpensive snack/meal while attending Sakura Con in the convention center. Sure, there is a wealth of dining within walking distance outside of the convention center throughout downtown Seattle but the food here was pretty good if far from the best burritos I’ve ever had and it was convenient being right inside the convention center. I will likely frequent this location again the next time I’m at Sakura Con

Overall the food here was pretty good, the reason I am giving this place 2 stars is because 1. They had run out of steak for the day. 2. When I initially entered I had to use the restroom and I guess they thought I was just using the restroom so they told me that if it’s locked then someone’s in there, later we were given a key after a purchase had been made. 3. There was a homeless man sitting in the establishment constantly harassing me for change, even though I told him several times I don’t have change, he would still continue to ask me. Would come back again but only if it was my last resort, the service was among some of the worst I’ve ever seen.

This is my go to place for a quick tasty lunch in this part of downtown. The staff at this location are very nice, and the Tuesday and Friday lunch specials are good. Service is quick. The limited seating may fill up at lunch but there is plenty more in the convention center. Try the fish tacos!

There is nothing memorable about the cuisine — pretty standard fare as it comes. The place is cramped and the employees bark at you to collect orders even if you’re like fifth in line, which is annoying. I don’t know what I want yet, I’m not up yet, so don’t call me just so you can speedily knock everyone’s orders out. It’s frustrating especially when they ask you to repeat your request. The Mexican joint is oddly connected to a smoothie place, which really makes no sense and has a confusing ordering structure. It’s inside a convention center, so we’re not talking high-end food here, folks. Just swallow your pride and head to the Chipotle and eat what you know and what you expect.

Got mondo burrito($ 4.99) featuring carnitas and the gang and guacamole too(extra $ 1.25), and it did me a world of good. Food was great – hearty and authentic, as far as I can taste authentic. Place was a little box inside WSCC blaring Spanish music, and the guys behind the counter were cool enough. I grabbed a bite between conference sessions, so there was nobody there to keep me company, save the stacks of boxes in the corner of the eating area, which created a kind of cramped utility closet atmosphere. But I didn’t mind since I just chowed and then ciao-ed within fifteen minutes.

Fish taco Fridays FTW! Yay! I was in a hurry and needed to grab a quick dinner. I wanted to go to the crêpe place but it was closed and luckily, my reliable«fast food» choice was here. This was my first time I had the fish tacos. They were $ 3.65 for 2. The serving isn’t as big as a burrito, but it was perfect because I wasn’t super hungry. It was just the right small dinner portion. The fish taco was delicious. I gobbled at the bus stop and it was gone by the time the bus came. Wow I sound like a pig. Also, the lady was very helpful and friendly. This place is way better than Blue Water Taco Grill on the other side of Union Square. I’ll be back– to be honest, I don’t know how it even took me this long to come!

Edible, averagely tasty, assembly-line burritos and tacos. You get to pick the type of tortilla, the type of meat, and lots of different toppings. Prices are decent. Really impressed by this locations speed. We stopped in for dinner and it was pretty empty. But the woman was welcoming and efficient, and we got our food right away, giving us time to scarf it down before seeing a show at ACT next door. I’m guessing they’re used to the lunchtime crowd and so have to be efficient. If you’re hungry and/or feeling a bit poor, $ 5 will get you a decent amount of food.

I come here once in awhile for lunch since I work in the 2 Union building right at the Convention Center. I have never held TDM in high regard, but for some reason I keep coming back. This began ever since I worked for TDM at age 19. Sometimes their food makes me sick, and other times I crave it. This particular location is decent IMO. The service is super fast during lunch rush, and the guy running the register(owner I’m guessing since owners love to run the registers if they are at the restuarant) is a nice guy. I especially appreciate the 2 taco friday deal where I only need to spend $ 3.69 + tax. I can’t eat the mondo burritos anymore. They are just too big for me to eat at one time. Well-run TDM with a quality burrito-rolling crew!

I love Taco del Mar. There burritos and plated meals are well-sized and tasty… but what brings me back? The fish Tacos! I’ve had fish tacos at a variety of eating establishments, but I still have not had a better fish taco than what I can get at Taco del Mar. I am a fairly frequent visitor. This particular Taco del Mar location is my favorite. The workers are always friendly and don’t cheat me on the toppings.

Great burrito, enough to share or for a meal later. The ones outside of Seattle, like in California, suck. They don’t have the extreme hot sauce. They franchised out and most have been shut down by lack of business. These places where like Starbucks, every one had great food and great service. When corporations take over, the greed ruins the integrity and service of what you are offering. The lines use to be out the door. With Chipole becoming the better know place to get a great fast burrito.

i’m not a fan of this location. Every time I stop by here, there’s nobody at the counter so I have to find someone or yell if anyone’s around. The refried beans don’t look fresh, which sucks because I love refried beans. I usually go for the black beans instead of that. The food is ok when you’re in a hurry but I would rather eat somewhere else.

Ev1l h4x0rz can be found frequenting this location the first Friday of every month. The ladies here are as delicious as the food that they prepare. Yes, it is a chain, and the selection is limited. However this particular one, being inside the Convention Center, seems to be more attentive to the quality and freshness of the food than some of the other locations(like the one in the Bellevue Mall, which seems not to care that their food tastes bad). It’s Mexican fast food, and it’s good in a pinch. Try the fish tacos or a fish burrito. They also have a bunch of good Nantucket Nectar drinks in a fridge if you want to stay away from the carbonated sodas. la sonrisa bonita — muy buena! =;^)

My first ‘Taco Del Mar’ experience as I’m not from Washington and I don’t think we have them in Cali. Not sure since I rarely frequent fast food chains however I find taquerias to be bit more trust worthy and inviting. I was starving and not looking forward to the fast food options downstairs in the Convention Center. I popped into Taco Del Mar as I figured it would be my safest bet. They offer the usual Mexican Taqueria fare. I was thrilled to find they offered a «Mondito» burrito as I wasn’t in a position to commit to a «Mondo» burrito. This was a perfect mini-burrito that hit the spot! I was content without feeling uncomfortably full or like I was about to burst. I wish more places offered these smaller options. Good burrito, decent prices and friendly staff. Bueno!

Pretty good for a quick meal when you’re in a hurry to get to your next event at the convention center. The service is kinda bad though. But the tacos were good!

Good solid choice when you aren’t feeling too adventurous. The service here is pretty good. Remember to avoid it during the Animé Convention or the Flower and Garden Show, it’s overrun with people since it is prominately situated in the middle of the Convention Center.
