Sugar Plum

Much better experience the second time around. The owner of this business went out of her way to address the customer service concerns I had in my first visit, so I decided to give Sugar Plum another try. This time I booked with Jordan and she was sweet and friendly. Got underarms, lip, extended bikini and half leg done and it took about 45 minutes. Plan on returning within 6 weeks so I can maintain VIP pricing on services. What I like about sugaring is the lack of the potentially skin-​burning heat that comes with waxing. Just know that the environment is kind of no-​frills utilitarian, which is totally fine by me – just an FYI if you are looking for more of a pampering, luxury spa experience.

Jordan is awesome. She’s really an expert, I went after 12 weeks and the pain was minimal. She’s quick and fun to talk to. Once you get a Brazilian from Jordan you will not like getting it from anybody else. Highly recommend her. I have fallen in love with Sugar Plum as everyone is so friendly here. I had forgotten my credit card but they were sweet enough to give me the service and asked me to call up and pay over phone as there was some issue charging the card on file, really appreciate that. A big thumbs up to Jordan and Sugar Plum!

I got sugared by Leticia and let me just tell you the experience was AMAZING! I went in really scared but she put me to ease and made the experience so much better. I am no longer afraid and will be a regular customer! Trust me… make sure to ask for Leticia!
ps– whats amazing is if you come back within 4 – 6 weeks then the cost is 40% off their services which is incentive enough to come back in!!!

I was in town for work and looked here on Unilocal for a salon to have a Brazilian done that was near my hotel. Sugar Plum showed up in the search results and it was close to my hotel, so I figured I’d give sugaring a try (previously, I’d only had hard wax done). Leticia was fantastic. It felt like I was hanging out with a girlfriend. She made me feel comfortable right from the start. The whole process was not bad at all, less painful that my last wax. It was different than the hard wax I’d done before, and I really liked it. The results are amazing. My boyfriend can’t stop going on about how soft and smooth everything is. He loves the result as much as I do. I’m going to have to convince my boss that I need to be back in Seattle every 4 – 6 weeks!

Great service! I used to see Crystal in Tacoma, but followed her up to Seattle! She has been waxing me for several years, so the sugaring was a new experience for me. It’s great! Crystal is so easy to talk to and gives great service! Also love the company and what they stand for!!!

The office is adorable and welcoming and Kate made it comfortable, no pressure into doing it (it being my first Brazilian). I didn’t have much limit so the time literally went by quickly. Just moved to Seattle and was actually Unilocaling for a good wax salon when I came across this and after reading about sugaring and reading the reviews here, I figured I’d check it out. And woooow… I don’t think I’ll ever go back to waxing! I made an appointment with Jordan and she’s amazing! She made me feel at ease and explained the entire process… she made me a believer in sugaring! I’d definitely be back!

I’m an esthetician myself but I wouldn’t dare doing my own Brazilian. So I started going to the location in wallingford, because I work in Fremont. I would see Tanisha there. But because that little lady is a Rockstar, I had to try the new location in DT Seattle. This is where Jordan is! Tanisha always told me, if I couldn’t get in with her, then try ri get in with Jordan (as they have a very similar method). I couldn’t be happier! And it’s easy for me because I live in Belltown. Win win!

Lord praise Jordan. She is amazing. I haven’t had a wax job done in a long time. My last waxing experience was horrible. I was left severely bruised and burned from the hot wax. It really scared me away from waxing for a long time. I used to shave and would hands down every time get razor burn even just doing my bikini line. Jordan was quick and efficient. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I came in on my lunch break. It was fabulous! Sugaring doesn’t burn and it doesn’t hurt nearly as bad as hot wax. I’ve found my hair removal diva!

I work right across the street from the Downtown location so I’d been dying to check it out. My appointment was with Kayti but she was running behind with her previous client so Jordan jumped in and offered to do my Brazilian. It was my
first time getting sugared or waxed or anything of the sort and Jordan totally put me at ease. Our conversation was the perfect distraction and the pain wasn’t too bad at all!

This by far has been one of the best experiences I have ever had. As it was my first time being sugared I was extremely nervous, the staff here are all simply amazing. Not only do they go above and beyond to ensure you’re okay during the process, the work they do is incredible. Despite being new, the sugaring specialist had a fine eye for detail! As my experience was top notch during my first visit, I went back to get my legs sugared which let me say is not painful at all and has lasted three weeks.
Aside from the remarkable service, I had the chance to interact with the owner Camilla who was very pleasant and elated to share the history of Sugar Plum with me. She takes pride in what she does and holds all three of her locations to the highest standards. This was certainly demonstrated by the interaction that I had with several of the specialist and the numerous reviews on Unilocal.She definitely is about customer service, giving back to the community and building solid rapports with the clientele.
Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough. With the amazing service and very competitive prices this is your place to go for ALL YOUR SUGARING needs. With that said, parking can be a little difficult when coming to this location.

I’m a regular at their Fremont location but live in Capitol Hill. When I found out they opened a downtown location I was sooo happy since its a lot closer to me now. Everyone in this office is new to the company. This made me a little nervous especially since when I was waiting in the room for my appointment I could clearly hear one of the sugaring specialists talking about being nervous or uncertain of how to sugar a client that was in earlier. With that being said, I would suggest to maybe just be a little aware of conversations that shouldn’t be spoken within an earshot of the waiting area.
Crystal did my brazilian. I was a little nervous because it felt a little longer than my usual appointments and the sugar procedure itself felt different. However I’m taking this as she paid attention to detail and care because overall in the end result she did a great job. If anyone hasn’t been here I highly recommend Sugar Plum. They do VIP discounted pricing if you get routine appointments within 4 – 6 weeks. so basically my sugaring is $ 40 + tax & tip. A total steal.
