The cashier is nice but the server is rude. I think being customer service oriented means listening to the customer. I had my drink made and was charged. I received my drink and it didn’t look right. Before I could even say anything. the server automatically said that is how my drink is made without asking me what the problem was. I sat down drank my drink. Went up for a refill then complained to the cashier pretty pissed. The problem that the server didn’t listen to was actually the cashier initially wrung the drink up wrong. So. I was not able to even explain why I was not happy with the initial drink and action. Miss V… you are young. listen first before you assume. If you want to do customer service. be kind to your customers and cut the attitude.

I liked this place because the service was nice and not stuck up like the other places i been to out here also like that the cashier was hell down to earth, talkative and funny i took a pic of her in action helping other customers. She almost spelled my name right we joked about it when she realized she spelled it wrong like they always do at every other starbucks lol

This is a very small Starbucks with not a lot of seating. The tables are very small– a bar-type seating with tables about half a foot wide. I ordered the croissant and fruit granola thingy. The fruit granola thing was very good and I wanted another but the line was too long. It was relatively clean, although there were a few wrappers. I would come back here for the fruit granola thing.

Objectively worst Starbucks. Plugs are on the ceiling, chairs uncomfortably high with no footrest, and rampant drug dealing on the corner that you can watch for hours on end out the window. Friendly staff, at least?

If you’re into people watching then this is the place for you. From tourists to homeless to just people on the look out for opportunities… it’s a colorful bunch who hang out here. I came here for a sandwich around 5pm and the lines were short. Service was slow in spite of the short line. The person ahead of me had specific requests for her beverage and they took the time to make sure they understood what she wanted. There is no comfortable seating. This place is more like a big glass kiosk. Definitely a functional location without the laid back hang out ambiance.

This place blows. I come here frequently because I work near by but after my last visit I’m never going to this location again. I’m usually okay with waiting for my drink(especially at this location) but how can it happen that the person who ordered before me and the FIVE people that ordered after me receive their drinks and food before I do? I had to wait 10 minutes for a caramel iced coffee and once I get it they forgot to put the caramel in it :( I won’t be back here suffice to say.

Used to live in the area, which is swamped with Starbucks every 3 steps. Though this one is my favourite thanks to the convenient location(Just above the tunnel to catch bus #41 for the home route. It’s a glass box so good for people watching on a rainy day…) The barista team is friendly and quick to make my order no matter how crowded the store is. (Won’t comment much about quality ‘coz it’s Starbucks. It depends on the barista not the store, but my drinks were decent most of the time) P/s: It’s quite old but since it’s a featured comment I gotta clarify the other review about outlet/plugs. They do have it. I saw a bunch of others Starbucks in the area also do this. Look under the table for them, or you could just easily ask.

Im very displeased with an experience i had this last tuesday January 13th around 9pm. I was downtown for a few hours and it was incredibly freezing; i came in a couple times to buy a Peppermint hot chocolate. Two male baristas, Andrew and a nice gentleman with a bow tie were exceptional; kind and social. But i walked out of Starbucks into the cold and saw a homeless man leaning against a building. I offered to buy him some coffee and food. So we both walked back into Starbucks together. I told the kind sir to buy anything his heart desires. But he wasnt familiar with the Starbucks drinks. All he wanted was a cold caramel drink. I ask a blonde female barista if the caramel macciato is cold. She curtly said«No». I ask her if she knows of a cold caramel drink, and she shrugs. Now, quite confused as to why she wasnt being helpful i ask«is the caramel Frappuccino cold?», without looking at me she looks at the homeless man and replies in a condescending tone«Yes, but it is very expensive.» I was shocked. Whether a drink is 20 or even 40 dollars, it is never appropriate to treat people the way that she did. Homeless or not. Not to mention that i frequently buy coffee at this establishment on a day to day basis. It was unnecessary and frankly it was hard to not disrespect her in return. I told her«That really doesnt matter» and handed her my card. But honestly, though it has been very convenient for me to buy my morning, afternoon and evening coffee here before i head home for the day… i dont think i could ever return. A good cup of coffee isnt enough for me to ignore that extremely rude act. Even though i know not the struggles of the homeless; they are human beings. And people downtown treat them brutally enough. I decided to show that man some kindness that day, i would have bought him 15 coffees if he so desired them. I can only hope he didnt take that womans attitude to heart. Theres only so much disrespect a person can take… and im sure every act like this weighs heavily on their hopes. –Silvia Bazan

STEALING. The staff is STEALING from you. They made a mistake. I’m not drunk. I know I just took a $ 20 out of the cash machine. He dropped down, put my $ 20 somewhere, then gave me a few cents change and insisted it was a $ 5. When I called him on it, he threatened to call security. Don’t go here.

Since Starbucks is not my favorite place — this review is biased. They don’t have almond — for my almond mocha — so they automatically loose one star. This place is a take an go only — no seating. Yes in the summer you can sit outside but it was not summer. We had a 10+ minute wait — yes it was busy. Basically give us your money — take your drink and go.

My kids and I went into this Starbucks recently for our caffeine fix. The restaurant itself had a nice layout and the servers behind the counter were really nice — especially the guy taking the orders and serving customers their pastries and foods. However, I didn’t like how you need to get a code to access the locked bathrooms in the rear of the restaurant, behind the partition behind the service area. And I ESPECIALLY didn’t like the pigsty state that the bathroom was in(unflushed toilet, body fluids everywhere on the toilet seat and floor, tp all over the floor. Unbelievably gross. My kids and I chose to «hold it» rather than use this facility and catch god-knows-what communicable diseases. Seriously, one look inside and we all quickly closed the door and walked away). Do the employees ever check and/or clean the bathrooms? OMG this one was the worst I had seen in a long, long time.(Sorry so graphic). (My apologies if this is the wrong Starbucks site. I’m pretty sure this was the correct address, but there are so many Starbucks in this vicinity…).

Once I arrived into Seattle I stopped by here to get a vanilla mocha and a croissant for a quick breakfast. Counter seats and nice staff make this place okay to enjoy your drink and people watch out the window. There is some seating outside but since it was sprinkling I choose to be inside and enjoy my mocha.

*20 minute wait for tea? *Rude barista who snaps at customers for grabbing straws from the dispenser?(Here’s a hint… if it’s against health code for customers to grab straws, maybe move the dispenser behind the counter). *Incompetent register drones who continue taking orders, but don’t start helping tackle the 30 drink back up? Or, maybe it’s just my fault for not going to one of the other 6 Starbucks stores on the block.

Do notice that they have plugs, but they are hidden under the tables(bar). Gave a five star just to raise them from the unfair three star rating. The baristas are awesome, thorough and nice. There isn’t enough room but it’s quite nice already in the busiest and tightest district at Seattle.

This is by far one of the busiest starbucks in town but one of the perfect places to hangout for people watching. The service isnt anything spectacular but hey the lines move fast and you can be in and outa here quickly. Love that you can gaze into downtown and sip on some coffee and much stuff. I usually come here for a brunch in the weekends so i can hv my coffee and walk around. Love the spinach feta wrap and the low cal chewy chocolate cookie

As the 2nd most trafficked Starbucks in the country(next to the one in Times Square, shout out NYC!) I am proud to say I was able to get in with only three people ahead of me! I’m sure it is more crowded during peak hours, but at 1:30 on a Monday, I got in and out in no time. The line and seating area is a little funky as the shape of the store is quite odd, which made it hard for us to manuever around a begging homeless man to get outside. I can’t blame that on Starbucks though — same great taste everytime!

I skipped a few bus stops past the usual to swing by here. It’s a neat corner slice shop, yet pretty standard clean design. I do like the simple cool cluster of can lights over the seating area — kind of a neat focal point of ambient light in the dim morning. A cool, overcast drizzly morning and a decent line is in session. All the staff appeared pleasant and ready for the day to begin. Robbyn, my cashier, had a cheery vibe to her and a nice, genuine smile. I get a chocolate Old Fashioned and a venti dirty chai. «Would you like 1 shot?» said the cashier, Robbyn. «(uh???) –2 shots,» I replied. Aren’t shots usually dispersed in even numbers? This is prob my 2nd Tazo dirty chai and they aren’t bad at all. I don’t think I’d come here during the main tourist hours.

Gimme an O Gimme a U Gimme a T Gimme an L Gimme an E Gimme a T Gimme an S What’s that spell? Outlets! What’s that spell? Outlets! What doesn’t this Starbucks have? Outlets! I’m not really one of those coffee connoisseurs who can taste differences in a latte from one Starbucks to another(with one notable exception – the Starbucks at Paddington Station in London which far and away makes the best lattes – but I’ll have to save that for a future review.) Generally when I end up at a Starbucks, it’s typically just an accident of geography and my expectation is that the experience, like the coffee, is going to be consistent from one location to another. Which is why I’m so baffled by the Westlake Mall Starbucks, which certainly has to be one of the highest profile locations in all of Seattle. But, I’m getting ahead of myself. Darling daughter asked me to take her downtown with some friends. I figured I would just grab my laptop and work at the Westlake Starbucks for the 90 minutes or so that the kids needed. The laptop battery was nearly depleted so I grabbed my cord as well. Arriving at Westlake, I was happy to see that the Starbucks was not overwhelmingly busy and in fact there was no line to order my drink, which I had in hand within a couple of minutes. The following is a recreation of what must have run through my mind over the next few seconds: «So, where to sit? Well there’s plenty of choices… just need an outlet. Not one there… or there… or there. WHATTHE F***? There’s not a damn outlet anywhere in this entire Starbucks. How totally irritating. How totally unacceptable. How in the hell am I going to get my work done?»

This particular Starbucks attracts lots of tourists because it is in the middle of downtown shopping malls. I try not to go here as the line is always long. There is always another Starbucks stand just next door. I don’t really like the layout either. There are plenty of seating for people watching by the windows. There are a couple of tall tables that are positioned awkwardly in the middle and make it difficult to chat with people. In other words, not a good place for meetups. This location is good if you are a tourist and need to rest from your busy shopping day in the area.
