What is going on with this parking lot? EVERY time I come here, there are cabs with drivers sitting in them. Is this some cabbie/Über driver meetup spot? It can be tough to get parking and sometimes they are standing outside their cars, which makes parking in the small spaces tricky. Otherwise, standard Starbucks. Clean, nice size, staff seems nice.

Every Starbucks I’ve ever been to has excellent friendly service, including the one I went to at the Great Wall of China :) This is an exceptional Starbucks however. When I’ve gone in there feeling a little blue, I always end up with a smile on my face. The staff is consistently friendly and quick, the prices fair, the vibe is cheerful and relaxed. I credit the staff for this. Their enthusiasm and kindness radiates beyond the counter, to where I’ve had a number of nice encounters and pleasant conversations with the other patrons while standing in line. Starbucks as a company is wonderful too. In our dark days of shady, self-serving, destructive corporations, I notice that Starbucks is always reported as being fair to their employees and suppliers, guarantees their products, and contributes to their communities. They put the welfare of their employees and clientele ABOVE the welfare of their shareholders – something few corporations do, but all of them should.

Literally posting this using my phone’s hotspot right now because the wifi is impossibly slow. Yikes. Baristas are friendly, though.

Hand-down for their drinks! I admit this place is more worth it for every pennies you paid at other startbucks places. They have really good Matcha drinks that no SB can compete(not that I know). It bring a bitter kicks that matcha drinkers will be surprised because most SB places they usually make it sweeter than it should be.

There are very little times when I get truly great customer service but this Starbucks has the best! I love it. Sometimes I forget they’re a Starbucks because it just feels so local! It really is a beautiful thing when you get amazing customer service like this. The only thing I would want to change is the scones are dry. I’m sure that some of their other baked goods are also dry but I love scones and this disappoints me, but over all lovely.

Friendly barista but I came to use the wifi and it’s so slow as to be useless. Crowded parking lot too. Otherwise it’s a standard Starbucks.

This is one of my favorite Starbucks in the South Seattle area. The majority of the staff, especially the manager, are super friendly and remember their regular customers. They’re usually quick and efficient and stopping here on my way to work usually helps put my morning on the right track.

Those who whine about the neighborhood or safety are perhaps unsettled by actual BLACKPEOPLE at this location. There’s nothing weird about the parking. As to why I’ve downrated this place: the wifi is pitiful. As in less than 1Mbit/s down and only a trickle up. Maybe one day the Google thing will happen, but I’ll bet this location is the last on the list.

Extremely friendly staff, quick service, and the atmosphere was nice. I just needed a Starbucks fix, and it hit the spot.

I swung by for a tall soy chai one morning just for kicks. Usual morning line. Near the MBTC.

Eh, it’s Starbucks. Good coffee when you want it but I try harder to support the little guys.

This South Seattle Starbucks, located at the intersection of Rainier Ave and MLK Way inthe Mt. Baker neighborhood, is one of my favorite Starbucks. It’s a convenient location to get your caffeine fix if you must get it from the corporate giant. It has parking, good customer service and a good interior layout with good use of space. This place recently underwent a remodel so now there’s a lot more table space to accomodate your laptop. I really like the fact that this Starbucks has expansive south facing floor-to-ceiling windows because this allows for the warm sunshine to come in. This helps a lot on chilly days at the coffee shop. I also like to look outside and see Franklin High School(best hight school ever woot woot! Ha!) when I’m drinking one of my favorite caffeinated beverages — iced doppio espresso with 2 pumps of white mocha. This drink mose closely resembles a drink that I really like — Vietnamese ice coffee. To top it off, It was at this Starbucks that a baristia introduced me to the doppio drink. Good stuff!

The manager of this place is sooo friendly and amazingly nice. I love the real community feel of this shop– normally I feel that Starbucks feel a bit sterile but this one, with it’s clear message that hanging out is totally acceptable feels much more welcoming. My order is always right, they have great selection of things for sale as well as all the amenities that you’d expect and the staff are consistently fantastic. Parking is weird but at least available and there’s no Clover machine but this place is so great, I can’t discount for those little things.
