So another unfriendlish experience at my first visit to this Starbucks. We arrived around 715pm and ordered a couple drinks and stayed and talked. The cashier was just a tad friendly but I said thanks to the barista and he didn’t even look at me . We thought it closed at 9pm per hours but at 828 we were told they close at 830pm. This was on a Tuesday night 2÷2… So another mediocre experience I have no idea why I tipped for unfriendly service but I guess I felt bad they seemed so sad . Three stars for the drinks as they tasted great and the cashier who at least made a effort to look like she liked her job.

I typically don’t mind starbucks, but this one was bad. There was garbage everywhere, and when one very nice lady told one of the baristas there was a lot of garbage on her table and asked if he would clean it up, he nodded and walked away. She waited 10 minutes and then asked the same barista who didn’t even nod this time. She then went to the front counter and told the lady working the machines, who didn’t do anything. So 30 minutes later I’m still watching a barista try to sweep up the floor but walking past all garbage on the majority of the tables. The manager, I presume, just kicked out an exceptionally nice lady who wanted to sit in one of the chairs(that no one was sitting in because the table was covered in garbage). She made a big scene and literally pushed her out the door. I get not wanting homeless people in your store, but that was just rude. UPDATE: Garbage is still not cleared after 45 minutes and barista is now walking around aimlessly and picking things out of his ear… Gross!!! UPDATE: Barista is now making drinks and organizing straws WITHICKYEARHANDS!!! This Starbucks is a nightmare. Do not go unless you want icky ear gunk in your drink.

This place is really busy and pretty loud but you can see many people hanging out to socialize and work/study. There are a lot of different seating options: large tables, a bar, comfy chairs, tables for two, a small upstairs seating area… They also have a lot of outlets so you can easily plug-in. Staff seem friendly and they are really quick. One annoying thing is that they have only two bathrooms which is a pain considering how busy they are. If you need quiet to study or work this isn’t the place for you. If you don’t mind the hustle and bustle and people taking to you and around you it’s a fun place to hangout.

Just a friendly warning that, at this time, this location has rather slow Wi-Fi; its got the«faux”-Google installed, which doesn’t run anywhere near the full-speed of most Starbucks locations, and is easily overloaded.

I went here once and it might be the last time I visit this location. It was loud and when I went, there were a lot of strollers outside and folks waiting inside on their drink orders. I think because of its proximity to the water, you’ll have to wait regardless of the weather. The baristas were friendly despite some of the crabbier patrons. I mean, c’mon… be patient or go elsewhere. Don’t take out your hostility on the SBUX folk. On the plus side, there IS a nice upstairs deck with umbrellas, comfortable sofas, and patio furniture… There is very limited street parking plus a parking lot in the back with a handful of spaces. It was a bit of a pain trying to leave because of folks who didn’t park in their collective spaces.

Dirtier and messier than other Starbucks locations. I came late on an overcast afternoon/early evening and it was fairly slow but still there’s empty food bags, straw scraps, and newspaper strewn about the store.

To be fair I really only ever do mobile orders(from the app) here. I place my order on my phone, quickly park and walk in to find my beverage ready and waiting for me on the counter. I’m always greeted by at least one employee and the facilities look clean. That’s all I ask of a Starbucks and that’s what I get. I’m a fan.

I was very impressed by this store and team. Specifically watching Tori handle a really rude customer. Tori stayed calm and upbeat despite the arrogant and demeaning attitude and comments coming from a middle aged man named David. She exemplified the Starbucks customer service attitude by offering multiple solutions despite the man trying to make her feel bad and impose his self-importance. My order was delivered quickly and accurately, with a smile. My day was improved by such a positive team. Happy Friday!

These gals and guys are AMAZING! Danielle behind the register is super sweet and Michael making coffins was working like a fiend!!! They were super slammed when I came in this morning and were super on top of it! The other team members were working super hard too to make sure everyone got their coffee and food STAT! Job well done!

While the beauty(or if you’re actually from Seattle, the tragedy) of Starbucks is that you can be in Seattle or London or Tokyo or wherever and you will find pretty much the same offerings, the same third-place like feel, etc., etc., I have to say that Starbucks stores do differ from each other. This one, for example, stands out. While their espresso drinks have always been mediocre at best(save for the flat white which is decent and really what espresso should taste like for what I pay for their other drinks except it’s about a buck or 2 more!), they do taste consistently across the board. Even here, Starbucks tastes like how it should. The food is the same as every store. Service is standard albeit a little slower than any Starbucks I’ve ever been to downtown. Not really glacial pace by any means but slower. What makes this place stand out to me is the rooftop deck upstairs that I don’t even wanna tell you about. I’ve yet to see it overly crowded and don’t want that to start happening. There’s patio furniture up there and even some comfy chairs. When I want to study outdoors but also need WiFi, this place has always been perfect! When I’m concerned my laptop might overheat, the umbrellas they have are perfect. I can be under the sun and the laptop can be in the shade connected to the internet while also plugged in. You’re away from the constant loudness of the espresso machines and the blenders and the people coming in and out but the espresso bar is just downstairs. Overall, one of my favorite Starbucks stores. It has all the standard offerings plus the amazing rooftop deck.

I never thought I would rate a Starbucks 5 stars! But, I met JD and Sarah. Friendly, honest, and informative. Best info: When you receive your email alert that a free drink or food item has been awarded to you after your 12th visit, redeem it for any food or beverage with the Starbucks logo on it. I picked up a marshmallow treat bar, but Sarah and JD talked me into the $ 6 egg salad sandwich. You may use your points on the new smoothies. I addition, they remade my ice tea until it was correct. Go out of your way and visit JD and Sarah!

Such a good Starbucks. I want to emphasize that not every Starbucks is THISGOOD. But the caliber of this Starbucks compelled me to write this review. I live nearby so I come in frequently. It’s a great community hub for Greenlake. The service is always phenomenal. There is a quieter upstairs seating area with outdoor seating when the weather is nice!

Right next to Green Lake, this spot is buzzing! They are super, over the top friendly, but maybe it was just excessive caffeine paired with a few days of glorious sunlight mid February. Considering that the line wrapped through the store, I’ll admit it was kind of nice they were super happy rather than super stressed. In light of how long the line was and how quickly they moved through it as well as how delicious my usual drink was, next time I’m exploring Green Lake I’ll definitely stop back in to get my fix.

It’s a great place for reading and studying. Not all the Starbucks are like that. Somehow here I can concentrate, yet feel very comfortable spending time here.

Definitely a community hub! This Starbucks location is often very busy, but the barista team here is so on-point they make the line move fast. I don’t think I’ve ever waited longer than five minutes to order, though I’ve probably waited closer to ten minutes to get my drink during high traffic times. I can’t blame them a bit for that, they’re certainly a well-oiled machine and I don’t think it’s luck that every barista or cashier I’ve talked to has been extremely friendly. There’s an upstairs area that’s often a bit more quiet for studying. Minimal parking available in the back. For the area, I do wish corporate had made this Starbucks less cookie-cutter, it has the Mcdonald’s-look as my friend calls it, and doesn’t add much beauty to the gorgeous Green Lake neighborhood.

I like going to this Starbucks as it’s the closest within walking distance and is centrally located in the heart of Greenlake. The baristas are friendly, but the customers are a bit snobbish and unfriendly. Upstairs is great for studying, but the WIFI is painfully slow which is on the AT&T nextwork. Otherwise, it’s stil a great place.

I enjoy going to this Starbucks simply because it’s in the heart of Greenlake. Studying here is relaxing because there is an upstairs where you can do some of your work. The Wifi is a bit slow, so if you need to work through your internet, it might be a problem. As far as parking goes, it is hard to find :)

Whattt?! How did I never discover the upstairs until now?! The downstairs is loud and the lines long but you can sit on some nice lounge chairs outside and look out at Greenlake. BUT if you go upstairs, there’s a great large deck with heated lamps overlooking the lake and a few tables away from the hustle and bustle and noise to actually get work done. This is my new favorite Starbucks and the upstairs section will now have to rival Jewelbox for cafes to sit in when I’m trying to get work done. The deck will be one of my new favorite places to chill on a nice day too!

This location is right next to Green Lake. It is extremely busy. The 4 stars is because I think they could make better decisions about staffing during peak times. I don’t know how the staff manages to be continually friendly and smiling given the amount of people they serve but I appreciate it. Community events are well promoted at the store. Bathrooms are very clean. There is always water outside for dogs(I don’t have a dog but I think it’s a nice touch). If you ask me, there are way too many people in there on their laptops. I mention it because I think that’s a good sign of a cool place to hang out.
