Yummy. The Ballard Sip and Ship has just hired an amazing health minded chef who makes the most killer, and I mean killer snack bars. They are called the gluten free almond coconut snack bar, it’s like one big fat almond joy! I feel so healthy eating it as I indulge. It’s worth every penny. Goodbye processed Luna bars or cliff bars, hello the real, home-made thing. Try it, you will become addicted. Oh and the banana bread is also pretty amazing!

I love this place. It’s in the heart of Ballard, has great gift bags, candles and cards. You can ship your things in a standard rate box or the quicker ups. They have package and Mail reviving. The people there are awesome. Coffee, baked goods, snacks and the Strawberry Moon Juice company vends there. Bone broth, cold pressed juices and health shots. I love this place.

Ship & Ship is incredible :)! They always have cool/super cute gifts and cards but today went a step beyond. I came in today frantic with a very large oddly shaped package I needed gift wrap for last minute-when I couldn’t quite find my own paper they offered to do it for me using some great stuff they had behind the counter! Two of the store employees immediately went to work on beautifying the outside presentation and it was awesome. Totally saved me today!

The word that comes to mind is whimsical. They have plenty of gifts, cards, coffee and more. When you are shipping out they ask if you would like some coffee to sip while you fill out the papers. :)

What a wonderful spot. The barista was so so nice and the coffee is excellent! The space is so warm and cozy and welcoming. It’s like a Third Place. You can buy a gift, package and mail it, and have coffee and/or lunch all in the same visit. I will be back again and again. They have 30 minute parking along the side of the building.

1 star for the friendly and helpful staff, –4 for the owner’s policies. I had a terrible experience trying to print some documents here. The owner apparently knows nothing about security, IT, computers etc. The owner is under the impression that customers with USB thumb drives are trying to infect Sip & Ship with some sort of «security breach»(sic). So since I was not allowed to put my thumb drive into their computer to print, I was asked to email my document to their Gmail-based address, WHICHTHEYWOULDTHENOPENONTHESAMECOMPUTER I WASN’T ALLOWEDTOUSE. Irony much? Anyway once I sent my password protected document(my tax return blank forms) to their Gmail address, the owner wouldn’t allow me to input the PDF password because«anything to do with passwords or security we can’t allow» which of course makes absolutely no sense. So I left without being able to print, or give them any of my money. A big lose-lose for all involved.(Plus who uses Gmail when they have their own web domain? A sure sign of tech incompetence). Again, GREATSTAFF, terrible owner.

I’ve only been to Sip & Ship three times but each visit has been great. What more can you ask for to have a coffee shop and shipping center located in one cute little package? The first visit I came to ship some American treats to a friend in Scotland — and since Sip & Ship sends parcels through the major shipping methods, I had options in price. Plus, I decided to have an iced chai with hemp milk and it all went on one tab — saweeeeeeeeeeeet. I went there recently to mail a package to my grandmother in Canada, but I stupidly wrote the wrong address down and the parcel was returned to S&S. They called me to let me know about the return, and sadly I had to pay for shipping twice(boo). But, they made it painless and I arranged for the re-shipment over the phone. I ended up having to come in since my credit card wouldn’t charge without being swiped in their machine, but that was fine. Having them so close to work, it makes it easy for me to choose Sip & Ship for my shipping needs. They do all the hard work, and I just hand them the dough. Avoid the post office at all costs — they are always too busy and never friendly enough. Sip & Ship is where it’s at, and there’s plenty of street parking to boot!

Excellent place. HERKIMERCOFFEE! I’ve been on the hunt for good coffee in Ballard since moving here and Sip and Ship’s coffee stands out from all the coffee here in Ballard. A bunch of places I’ve been to uses coffee that’s really acidic in my opinion which is great for those who like it, but it’d like some variety. Also I like Herkimer a lot. Anyways– staff is always friendly and helpful. Service is great. Mailing is very convenient. We were going to go to the post office today but they closed early on Saturday, so we came over to Ship and Sip. They provided the same service for us and were super friendly! Also they have a bunch of gift ideas you can buy including cards. They even sell wine! Super awesome place. Has some seating on the main floor, outside and in an upstairs mezzanine area. Haven’t tried any of their sandwiches or pastries. They’re a great business!

What a concept. Come in to ship or mail something and have a sandwich(which are delicious BTW), a cookie, tea or a coffee. And while waiting you can browse their ever changing items for sale that somehow always represent Ballard and Seattle well. I also maintain my business mailbox there and it is 100% convenient. Not sure how the owner finds and keeps such a great, helpful staff but she does. Well done.

Yes! It’s a wonderful experience for one of those necessary things in life — mailing/shipping. Everything needed to package and ensure safe/timely delivery. Plus they have so much more — including COFFEE! Full-service with a smile :-) To be fair, the Ballard Post Office is one of the best USPS facilities I’ve ever been to, but truly can’t compete with Sip & Ship’s environment and available services. Stop in and get their iconic«Ballard Star» hoodie! I suggest getting a hoodie to toss in every shipment:
Oh…and did I mention they sell wine?! Drink up buttercup!

Coming to Sip & Ship about a dozen times, I recently discovered how awesome this establishment is after going to a USPS location. S&S provides friendly funny serivce and doesn’t charge you for things like tape when you have a package ready to send out. Mean while, this place also has a nice, decently quite lounge where you can take a minute out of your day to have a great cup of espresso. This is great local business you can support and truly represents what it means to live your dream. Prices aren’t too much different going directly to FEDEX or UPS too. GUAPPROVED!

Lovely coffee shop where you can drop off packages for any carrier. The best spicy chai tea latte I’ve had in Ballard. Not sweet and just perfect. Cutest little whimsical gift shop too. Loft upstairs is nice for lounging.

I came here to get some faxes sent and a latte. Latte was made to order, however, their services in general range from reasonable to $$$ but still worth the visit. The customer service is amazing.

I love this little shop! I’m in town for work and took a walk to grab a juice this morning from there. Although they were out of the juice I was looking for(not their fault), the lovely barista talked me into a coffee and OHMYGOSH, delicious genius. Lavender syrup(just a tad) in an americano. Everyone should try this. When I left I really regretted not having my computer with me as the ambiance is warm and friendly, I can’t wait to go back!

Went in here with a friend because he had to ship an odd shaped and heavy object to Portland. He wasn’t sure about prices so we planned to weigh out all the options, but the friendliness of the staff and inexpensive price(some 3rd party shippers inflate their price like crazy) we were sold! They’ve got coffee to drink, and a small area to work. Only one hipster with a laptop! There are lots of weird kitschy gifty items too like lavender soaps, greeting cards, wines. anyway. Great place to ship something. There are boxes everywhere!

Fast service, tasty coffee, but what i did not like, that they do not have sugar in packet. And its mainly take away, there are some chairs but not very good place to sit.

This week I’ve come to Sip & Ship twice. The first time, I brought all my Christmas gifts for the in-laws and had them box and ship it for me. The lady at the counter gave me options with prices and was even able to advise me which courier is more gentle with packages. I was very pleased with how easy the transaction was and felt that in comparison to the shipping I did last Christmas at the UPS Store, that this was much less expensive. The second visit was to grab a mocha and a pastry for my husband before I ran to the gym. He is very picky, and tends to complain about every place I get his coffee drinks from unless it’s Starbucks but I did not want soy milk in my chai this morning so I went to Sip & Ship. To my surprise, he liked his mocha!!! Woohoo! The lady at the coffee counter was nice to chat with and while I was there I was able to pick up a few greeting cards also!

Sip and Ship has awesome friendly service! They are open later than the post office and they will help you out if you need to tape up a box because you magically ran out of tape on the last box(yup that happened to me) I love the selection of cards. I bought 4 the other day. Pick up a coffee and a local candy bar and hang out this is a good place to be. I will keep coming back — unique and positive experience which is great because shipping stuff is a chore. You make it fun to ship stuff — thank you!

Dear Sip and Ship: You’re pretty awesome. When facing having to ship a package, I really hate going to the post office(postal workers, you’re lovely, but you’re slower than teenagers on their way to a shower) or going to a FedEx/UPS office(no, creepy delivery people, you can’t have my number, learn how to drive). Luckily, Sip and Ship was near the bike shop where I had purchased some new bike tires for my brother. Shipping the tires was a breeze– the lovely woman at the counter asked if I wanted standard, two day, or overnight shipping, got everything wrapped up, handed me a tracking number and receipt, and let me draw inappropriate doodles all over the box before I walked out. Quick, efficient, friendly, and clean. Theres also a lot of really nice last minute cards, candies and little presents you can purchase as well. There’s a couple of designated parking spots behind their building.
