I love this place! I always get the Crispy Garlic Chicken and its to die for. Their special brown rice is also really good and healthy for you too! The owner is incredibly nice as are the rest of the staff. Has a great view of Alki so it fills up on sunny days. I highly recommend it!

DANGER!!! Siam Pura is no longer Siam Pura. It’s called Thai landing at Alki. I used to love this reastaurant for it’s freshness. Spring rolls tasted like they came out of a box. Vegatables taked old I will not go there anymore since the new ownership. I will have to find a new favorite thai restaurant

I will go out of my way to visit this Thai restaurant in Alki. Great view and pleasant service. One of the better Thai places around. The food has changed a little bit since new owners took over a few months ago, but still delicious and a must eat at place! My favorites are the curry dishes and the spring rolls and of course really good Thai Iced Tea.

My bf used to LOVE this place and I had never been. We just went over this past weekend, the server was very sweet but seemed a little over whelmed and after trying to check out using a coupon and they could not figure out how to do this, we realized that they were all new, in fact it has all new owners. The food was ok, not the best Thai in West Seattle though, great view and great drink selection though :)

Looking at the previous reviews here, I knew it was going to be a toss up on whether or not I actually liked this place. Fortuntely for my tummy, I was very pleasantly surprised by how good the food was here! Usually our go-to Thai spot is down in Southcenter but I was lazy and didn’t want to make the trip far from home and I also didn’t want to be disappointed once again by the other local Thai spot that leaves my wallet feeling a bit lighter than I’d like for the stuff. Upon some recommendations by the waitress, we ordered off the«specials» instead of the menu and had some of the best Thai food I’ve had lately. I reallly

Great Thai food at the beach… what more could you ask for? Tonight I stopped in and ordered the special Gang Hung Lay… tender pork slow cooked in sweet-sour curry imported from Thailand, served over their unique red rice. Amazing! Washed down with SingHa Thai beer and I could see the bonfires on the beach. Happy! Had a nice conversatuon with owner Ban and his Mother Da, who prepared my authentic dinner. And they deliver… I live a few blocks away and like to get pad kee mao(made with fresh chile) brought up… it always arrives hot(not just spicy). With a little work on the atmoshphere, this could be the next great date spot on Alki. They make it spicy, so you might want to knock one star off of your usual.

Just came under new ownership, so the place still smells of paint and disinfectant, but the food is solid. Give yourself enough time to wait, as they don’t mix their spices until you order, and if you order to go, let them know you’re in a hurry, so the food is ready when you get there. They are committed to fresh foods, truly committed. Give them your patience and they won’t disappoint.

We stopped in here on a week-night for dinner. The restaurant is not very big but the view is breathtaking. The food was decent compared to several Thai restaurants we’ve been to before, but for the same price range as the others I have to say the portions here were a lot smaller than what we’re use to. I will consider returning for the view maybe during better weather and decent food during a lunch hour.

Good food, but not great. No cashews whatsoever in Cashew Chicken dish. Was not crazy about having my entrée served in a fried tostada like bowl. Service wasn’t bad but being there was only one other small group… wasn’t anything to compliment. Giving two stars although 2.5 might be more fair. Would I go back? Probably not. I definetly wouldn’t suggest to meetup with group of friends as there are other Thai places I LOVE and look forward to going!

This is one of my new favorite Thai restaurants. It helps that I spend quite a bit of time in west seattle. And it helps that it’s summer time and Siam Pura is conveniently located right on Alki Beach. But above all these things, the food is superior. I ordered the pad kee mao and it had to be the best I’ve ever had. It was perfect. Big fat noodles, moist and saucy, tender chunks of beef, al dente veggies, I couldn’t ask for more. The pad thai was also excellent. Not ketchupy like other places tend to be. And lastly, the mango and sticky rice dessert. I can’t stress enough the importance of ripe mango. You can have the sweetest, thickest, coconut sauce, and the dish will still turn sour if your mango is too green. Siam Pura fortunately does not have this problem. They use a minimalist sort of coconut milk sauce, but with ripe mango, it turns into the perfect compliment. Also, this place is cheap chEAP CHEAP. I think a little over 6 dollars for a lunch entrée? And I consider it a perk that the portions are perfectly sized. By no means skimpy, but not monstrously big. Just enough to clean off your plate, feel satisfied, but not painfully full. And honestly, thai food does not keep well at all. So leftovers are pretty undesirable.

It’s gotten better! We’ve been there five or six times in the past three years and something has improved. Most people settle on eating there because it’s so flipping beautiful to sit on the deck and look out at the Sound. However, our last meal in August 2011 was actually pretty outstanding. Given the stiff competition of Thai in Seattle, I can’t give it 5 stars, but I was pretty impressed for the first time.

This place has consistently great food and equally consistent bad service. I’m giving it 3 stars only because the food is that good.

Call me a fair-weather friend. It is what it is. I have been going to Siam Pura for at least 5 years now. When I want some«me time,» I use the same formulaic schedule… drive to Alki, lay in sun, get hungry, walk to Siam Pura, eat, lay in sun. Okay… maybe I get it to go and eat on the beach. Take that variety and stick it! Anyway… back to the formula: I always get the same thing – Phad Thai. I like it because it’s different than any of the other Thai restaurants around my house. It’s very egg-y and it’s slightly sticky. But very good.(And as a bonus: does not dry out when you eat it as reheats.) This last time that I ate here I decided to try the Crab Wraps.(I am not a fan of crustaceans as a whole and their creepy exoskeletons, so I was actually excited that it was imitation.) Excellent. And it doesn’t hurt that I am one of the world’s hugest cream cheese fans. The water is good.(Love good tasting water.) The outdoor seating is nice. Not the most comfortable and may be small for some, but it’s got a good view.(Plus, if you’re bored, you can listen in on the conversations down below at the Mexican restaurant.) And they have a restroom, so you don’t have to use that nasty station by the volleyball courts. But, you may ask, why are you a fair-weather friend? I’ll tell you why: I only come here during summer.(You may have guessed it, discerning reader, whilst I exposed my «schedule.») It’s good… Don’t get me wrong… but it’s not THAT good to come here from Renton solely for Thai Food during any other season.

Ugh!!! Except for the view — it’s pretty kick-ass! Other than that, my only experience here was ordering a simple chicken pad thai that was soo spicey I almost sent it back(I chose 3 stars out of 5 for the heat factor and it was almost inedible). The Thai Iced Tea was tasty though — order that and sit on the deck and enjoy the view on a nice day!!!

Let me start off by saying that the view was amazing. Other than that, I don’t have many positives things to say. Went in for dinner last night, and there were a few tables open. Was told we could sit anywhere and got a table outside. And then we waited and waited and waited… We were about to leave when the waitress came over. It took over 20 minutes just to get water, and another 45 to get our«appetizer» that came at the exact same time with the rest of our meal. Food was average, nothing special, and definitely not worth being charged extra for items that should come with your already overpriced meal.(Having to pay $ 2.00 extra for a half cup of rice is absurd.) I will definitely not be going back to Siam Pura anytime soon!

Not great thai food, but decent. The true draw of this place for me is that they deliver. When you’re sitting around the house and you’re not a fan of pizza, it’s great to know you can hop online and order thai food instead. I wish I had more to say about it, but it’s pretty middle of the road in pretty much every way. But after enough really bad thai places, average thai that delivers is a pretty good find.

I would agree with earlier reviews that the food is great but the service is pretty awful(every time I have gone). I like to order to-go(pick up) because I live nearby and thai is more of a craving for me than chinese. I always feel like I’m inconveniencing the people who work there, which normally would be a deal breaker for me. I shouldn’t feel uncomfortable entering your establishment and paying good money! However, the food really is tasty and my love of the curry brings me back. For those looking for a nice patio and a view of Alki, this spot is often overlooked.

I love this little place. The owners are from Bangkok(spell?), and moved here a couple of years ago. They are the nicest folks. Their food is excellent. Great Pad Thai, Tom Kah is my favorite soup of theirs, their Larb salad is as good as it gets, the Holy Delight is heavenly, and I try to give them business as often as possible.

This quaint little restaurant across the street from Alki Beach gets overlooked a lot so I’m always reminding locals it’s there and sending visitors to check it out. It’s a small, intimate restaurant and has wonderful Alki views. My service has been friendly and I’ve been very happy with the items I’ve ordered. Good Thai comforts my soul. Sort of an occupational hazard, being upstairs from the Casa Feliz Mexican restaurant they suffer some evenings(usually weekends) from having to share the live Mexican music going on down at Casa Feliz. It’s not a deal killer for me but something to be prepared for. And because I love the creativity, I have to add the menu in a poem that’s on their website: Please come and try the food we fixed, Start with our savory Appetizers, Like Zesty Prawn with secret sauce mixed, Or Steamed Dumpling one would love forever. Wow! Chicken Sate is so tempting, Then, come the Crispy Calamari treat, That really makes you mouthwatering, And Spring Rolls are the must on your seat. Vegan should try Fried Tofu, Children might love Pot Stickers, One for her, one for him and one for you, But all the food above is just Starters. Tom Yum Soup’s aroma is marvelous, It’s going to stir up your enzyme, While Tom Kah is also delicious, That one can’t resist the taste of lime. To follow with Siam Pura Salad Yum, With prawn, beef, pork or chicken, The yummy taste all deserves two thumbs. Also with Larb is but a treat in heaven. One can’t quit the place with Curry, Either red or green, yellow or Panang. Kaeng Kua, Massaman are all tasty. Mild, medium, hot is up to your gang. A bunch of four can’t avoid Four Buddies, A romantic couple will love Two Lovers, Twin Delight will enhance your love story, All These dishes are to keep in mind forever. Garlic Prawn is an unforgettable dish, Sweet and sour is Seafood Elite, Salmon Mango is for one who loves fish. While Salmon Chu Chee lifts up your spirit. Here comes the Jumping Prawn, Dancing Squid is good for main course, Swimming Angel with chicken or prawn, Good for those who love peanut sauce. Cashew Nut in chicken, beef, or pork, A popular dish to eat with rice, Or Holy Delight to be cooked with wok, Mango Curry is big in flavor, small in price. The superb dish of all is Crispy Duck, With tangy sauce which is so particular, Black Pepper Beef also will be stuck, In your mind with the big five stars. Here is the vegetarian Veggie Delight, For Vegan who avoid eating meat, Also can have Peanut Sauce as your side, Then, try some noodles as your pleasant treat. Start with Pad Thai, the best seller, Spicy Noodles is the same as Pad Kee Mao, Try Pad See Ew as your new supper, Or Rad Nah that one will say, wow! Curry Soup Noodles in a big bowl, Can be served with your choice of meat, Fried Rice is a favorite for someone’s goal, While Pineapple Fried Rice is also good to eat. The last dish to try is Holy Fried Rice, With basil leaves as nourishing herbs. Desserts are Lychees or stuffed Rambutan with ice. Or Thai Custard with Caramel we also serve. Fried Banana with Sesame Seeds and Honey, Is both good to eat with or without ice-cream, Fried Ice-Cream is a must to try with spry, Or Coconut Ice-Cream to eat with a beam. Fruit Juice like Coconut, Guava or Mango, Soda, Thai Ice Tea or Ice Coffee, Thai Hot Tea, Hot Coffee we have, also, Or try Beer, Wine to make food even tasty. Your support is very must appreciated, Thank you for coming to lunch or to dine, Even ‘take out’ is so deer to our daily lives, May your light of happiness always shines
