Shola Grocery is a neat minimart.
It’s different than all the other ones nearby as they have fresh injera and other Ethiopian spices. They still carry sodas, smokes and snacks, but also other specialty items that I haven’t seen before.
I like the Busy Bee better as far as minimarts go, but Shola is a-​ok.

I used to hang out here a lot when someone I knew worked here. Shola Grocery, as just a mini-​mart is really nothing special. The store is pretty small, the selection is pretty slim, and prices aren’t great. It’s convenient, though, if you’re in need and convenience stores make their killing there. Also, you can get some harder-​to-​find Ethiopian ingredients and foods here. Injera is made fresh daily and a big draw and there’s this bread that is a big round that you can get big hunks of, which is dense and great! If you’re cooking Ethiopian, need a quick soda or pack of gum, Shola is right around the corner from Starbucks, Subway, and the movie theatre on Rainier.
