Sheldon J Cowen, MD

I’ve been going to Dr. Cowen’s office for the last three plus years. Dr. Cowen is very mild mannered and professional. Takes the time with each visit to ask and answer questions about my eye health. His staff are phenomenal. Very professional and helpful to all patients. When I was diagnosed with early stages of glaucoma, Dr. Cowen was so reassuring that if I follow my very easy treatment plan my eyes should remain healthy until old age. I was still a little scared until one of his nurses confided that she had been diagnosed with the same thing and because she’s been following her treatment plan, her eyes are healthy. Dr. Cowen is not an optometrist, he is an ophthalmologist… meaning a medical doctor. He also has state of the art, high tech equipment for testing your eyes. Highly recommend.
