Seattle Ink & Oil

Shoot, I think I get tattoos more often than haircuts so I’m glad I found Seattle Ink & Oil and more importantly, I’m happy to have found Chris. A friend referred me to Chris and I found out a good chunk of people that I know sees him too. I’ve gotten a few tattoos by him, actually 4 now and he is slowly starting to become my favorite artist. I just can’t seem to say enough good things about him and his work. Due to my spontaneous nature, I seem to always get random tattoos from random people just because I never seem to like anybody thattt much to stick with, but problem solved. Chris himself is awesome, super cool, professional, and did I mention awesome? He really shows that he cares for his clients, but most importantly, his artwork is bad ass. Check out his portfolio!
The shop itself is located in one of the rooms at the Rainier Brewery, you should see a sign for this place. Parking is easy, there’s a huge parking lot, just don’t park at any of the reserved spots for other shops here. So much more convenient than finding street parking at other shops in Seattle and not to mention the annoying hassle of running back to the car to feed the money eating meter every couple hours if it’s a longer sitting session. Ain’t nobody want to deal with that in Seattle’s BS rainy weather.
My experience here has been wonderful, the only thing that can make it better is if they start feeding me spring rolls during my visit. No, I’m kidding… or am I? Totally kidding. To the many more tattoos in the future, cheers!

I’ve been with Ink and Oil for over a year, love the new location, great staff, artists are quality. This is my favorite shop in the Seattle area. Easy to find, email for consult, relaxed and professional atmosphere in cool building with top end experienced artists.

Chris N. did an awesome job!
He took a tattoo that wasn’t everything I wanted and made it BETTER than I could imagine. I was /​am nervous about how my skin would take and keep color. Chris helped with color suggestions that would likely show and remain vibrant after healing. We decided to try a few combinations.
I can’t wait for it to heal! He has a wonderful touch. I didn’t find it to hurt or be uncomfortable at all.
This place is a little challenging to find but the sign is there. The black crow stands out the most. Chris was finishing another client when I walked in. Acknowledged me immediately and we talked about what I was looking for. Thankfully, he was able to tattoo me that same day. I can’t wait for him to do more work me.

You have to check out the Justin and crew. This is the location for new shop. Unilocal is stupid and doesn’t transfer reviews, but you should refer to the old listing for satisfied customers. Justin is the homie!

Justin did a fantastic job. When I came in for my consultation, he totally understood what I was looking for. And when I actually got my tattoo, it was even better than expected. He definitely has a unique style that looks like an actual oil painting. I’m so glad I chose him. I would 1000% recommend him to anyone in Seattle looking for a tattoo.
