I’ve never seen such unprofessional people working at a medical clinic as I’ve seen at SeaMar. They don’t call you with test results, even when you go ask for them they can’t find them. They don’t follow up with the Dr’s about tests you want results for, then you find out they never sent in the sample to be cultured. The staff discusses patients in front of other patients. They sit around laughing and gossiping without any thought to who is listening. When you call SeaMar you can’t even talk to your clinic!!! They take a message and tell you it may take 24 – 48 hours before you get a response. I’ve had cancer before and if I had had to wait with responses and test results then I would be dead. I will be changing my insurance so I don’t have to continue with such an unprofessional office. HIPPA should be getting involved. This is actually a no star review.

The public seriously needs to think hard if you intend to seek employment with this organization. I just came out of a scheduled interview today with a Regional Director who didn’t take the time to read my application. Not only did she not bother to read but didnt understand what was reading in the application. REALLYPEOPLE! This has to be the most incompetent healthcare provider in the state of Washington. This complaint has nothing to do culture. What’s even more alarming is that our State Department of Health is licensing such an organization to provide healthcare in Western Washington. I have worked in public service for 25 years and this has got to be the most embarrassing and insulting experience to have in all my years I have practiced. I honestly believe that the Latino healthcare system, like SeaMar, seriously needs to rethink how they do business. The public needs to do them self a favor, don’t bother looking for employment with this organization. The experience will be a waste of your valuable time.

Avoid seamar if you can! Specifically I am talking about their home care program(Marcella Diaz) at their south park program. Seems like if you’re not Mexican or don’t speak spanish they really don’t care about your employment with them, marcella is unorganized and forgetful on what she tells you. She doesn’t return phone calls or emails give her a couple weeks. I was at the south park location in their lobby and I swear there was a crackhead in the bathroom getting high. Bad experience horrible customer service. I would give no stars if I could

Criminal and dishonest is the best description of Sea Mar. Recently Sea Mar was fined $ 72 million by the State Attorney General for fraudulent dental billing of Medicaid clients. A classic trojan horse scenario and in this case it is making its executives rich under the guise of serving the poor. Sea Mar head executives run this so called non-profit company like a criminal empire feeding off the ghettos. I hope the fines forces Sea Mar a wicked and opportunistic company to get out of the healthcare business. P. S. to the higher executives you did this to yourselves and I hope the state makes your immoral company pay back every penny to Medicaid. Cheers!

only giving one star because youhave to give atleast one. let me say that just because this is a free clinic helping those with low-income/no insurance, does not mean the patient’s should be treated like dirt. The staff is either helpful, or nasty, depending on which receptionist you get, the violate HIPPA like nothing I’ve ever seen and if this weren’t a free clinic I’d see more of a point to report them to the sate, but i know nothing will be done; got a wisdom tooth extracted and the Dr. laughed at me when i screamed in agony and made a «witty» comment about«oh i bet that one hurt! ahahha!» the Dr. was absolutely unprofessional, in he was discussing my information with every nurse that walked by and joked about who handles pain better between men/women(mind you i am anticipating the pain from this tooth extraction), oh did I mention i waited in the lobby for an hour past my appt? then i waited 2 more hours in the dentist chair and over heard a girl screaming next to me in pain, and another man flipping out because he had waited from 11am-2:30 and still hadn’t been seen. To top things off, I had to request pain medication for after care and when I did they accused me of being a drug-seeker…puhleese…this place is worthless, and they have no standards, no privacy th eway HIPPA says it should be for WA state, the staff is not very nice or understanding which would be nice since the Dr. care is being compemsated. DONOT go to this clinic. if i could do things all over again and have to sturgle with monthly payments to see a REAL Dr., i would. absolute nightmare, it’s a real shame…

I give them 1 star becuase I appreciate all clinics who provide services for low income people BUT my experience here was so horrible that it was barely worth it. 1st — the clinic is 99.9% spanish, so if you don’t speak it you will have a hard time. 2nd — Plan on waiting 1 –2 hours to get it, EVENIF you have an appointment. Good idea to check in with the front desk every 15 minutes or they may forget about you all together(yes, happened to me) 3rd — The office/waiting room is mediocre at most and the parking is terrible
