This is my kind of wine and winery! The wines are all so well balanced, easy to drink AND affordable; which honestly could turn into a problem… Mostly showcasing varieties of reds and red blends with soft finishes and fruity notes(I am a fruity red type of gal and LOVE Cabs), I also had the privilege to try the sold out dry Riesling and spring released Rose… if there is still the Rose available… GRABIT! As I went through the tasting room which had 5 varieties to try, I could not find one I didn’t want to try again! The owner and wine maker, Travis Scarborough, was a delight as well :) Very passionate about his wines and eager to make more. He recently moved to SODO and has a very neat space that he had decorated with a hip, friendly feel and wine barrels all around. Great space to do an event(up to 120ppl) with a place for a food truck to pull up right to to the door… enough said, right? I’m now looking for a reason to throw a party there! A definite must check out– wine room is open on the weekends which is NICE and costs only $ 5 which is waved with purchase– so in reality it is free, cause there is no way you’d walk out with out a bottle… or case. Oh and the wine club… good luck trying not to sign up for that. ENJOY!
