When I have a craving for Southern food, RoRo is definitely a place to go. I always have their pulled chicken sandwich with mac n cheese and corn bread. I have NEVER been disappointed. The place is pretty small but there is outdoor seating, when we actually have a nice summer day. I could probably eat a whole tray of corn bread, it’s so good!

My bf and I were flying in and out of Seattle and discovered this Side of the road joint. It seriously looks like a hole in the wall, but the food was delicious. The sweet potato tater tots are amazing!

The service is great here and the place looks like a BBQ joint. I had a soft-shelled crab sandwich that was fantastic! Got to come back for some ‘Que next time, but great first impression.

Oh BBQ, how illusive you have been since I moved from Texas… until now. Delicious brisket, sauce and mashed potatoes. Not crazy about the mac and cheese; but it’s the meat I’m after anyway! Friendly service and solid food, but $ 13 is a spendy for a sandwich.

Came here yesterday for lunch with a couple of co-workers. I must say, the food was pretty darn good. I was surprised to see a few empty tables at about 11:15am, but it was nice to be able to grab a seat immediately. Waitress was friendly and the food came out super quickly. It was hard to decide what to choose because everything looked great. I ended up having the pulled chicken sandwich with a cornbread muffin and baked beans for my sides. The sandwich was really good. I liked that they had five different types of BBQ sauce on the table and you could choose whichever you wanted to add to the sandwich. I, of course, tried all five. They seemed rather similar for the most part, but they were all good so I guess it didn’t matter much. The cornbread muffin was also tasty — especially so once I slathered butter all over it. The beans were just okay… they reminded me a lot of canned beans. Same consistency and flavor. They were fine, but they did not stand out in my mind. Décor is kind of interesting, but entertaining. I think I noted during lunch that it looked like they stopped by Goodwill or Value Village and purchased all the donated, pre-framed art — regardless of what it looked like — and then put it all over the wall. Too funny. I will definitely be back here when I have a craving for BBQ. Good stuff!

I ran into this place while Unilocal’n. I got here kind of late, not realizing they’re only open during lunch hours. Anyways, on a good note, they still served me!!! The people that work here is great. They’re very friendly and my food came so quick. They didn’t even mind me having a seat and eating there, even though they were closed. The food was delicious and it came with so much! Let me tell you, I will definitely be coming back here. I recommend you go here, if it’s not out of your way. Oh and make sure you check the hours, I think this place’s only open during business hours.

This is some damn good bbq! Friendly service, good sandwiches, lively atmosphere. The pulled pork sandwich had the right taste; not dry, good amount of meat, and the various sauces help you customize to your tastes. The coleslaw was a little off, but the mac and cheese was downright homestyle. Good stuff.

Pulled pork sandwiches and cornbread followed by homemade german chocolate cake cupcakes = amaaaaaaaazing. cute kitchsy bbq joint décor, including table decorated with cutouts of cleavage. yesss. downside: weird hours. they aren’t open on weekends as far as i can tell, and aren’t open for dinner, but if you get a chance for a weekday lunch here, take it!

No matter where I seem to travel, BBQ is a style of food I seem drawn to. I had doubts that I would find BBQ in Seattle as good as I’ve found in Memphis, Texas, Missouri, and Georgia, but alas this place is excellent. A wide variety of sauces, great sides, excellent meats, and a great atmosphere and staff. I’ve begun to make an appearance here every 5 – 8 days and have never been disappointed no matter what I’ve ordered. I HIGHLY recommend RoRo BBQ!

Absolutely love this BBQ! They have amazing BBQ sandwiches and great beer on tap. The service is always super quick and very friendly. In the summer you can also sit outside on the street lined picnic tables! If you’re looking for a BBQ fix be sure to stop by there, you won’t be disappointed!

I came here a couple days ago for the first time, and it was packed! We arrived around noon for lunch, and the place was completely full. This is always a good sign! All of the sandwiches and burgers come with a choice of 2 sides, which range from traditional cornbread and coleslaw to sweet potato tater tots and mac and cheese(yum!). I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with corn bread and mac and cheese for the sides. Wow! The corn bread is probably one of the best I’ve had in a long time… it was so moist and full of flavor. The mac and cheese was delicious too. I found myself polishing off both of my sides before I even started to dig into the amazing pulled pork sandwich. The bread that it was served on was so soft and a perfect compliment to the moist pork. YUM! There are six choices for sauces that you can put on the sandwiches. I tried the RoRo’s sauce(a mix of vinegar and spicy) and the other spicy mix sauce… can’t recall the name of it right now. They were both great. I’m usually not a BBQ sauce person, but these were just right and not too overpowering. In addition to the two sauces I tried, they also had normal ketchup, a sweet and smoky sauce, a vinegar-based sauce, and a spicy sauce. With this variety, there is sure to be a sauce to please everyone’s palate. The service was also quick and very friendly. I just made myself hungry writing this review…

The hours restrict it to a lunch venue but I still like it a lot and it works for me to do lunch there. Sweet potato tater tots, I should not have to say anymore than that, but the BBQ is excellent as well. I have tried the pulled pork and the tri tip, both are very good. They have a good selection of sides(Including the sweet potato tater tots) and you get two of them with a sandwich. They have some good daily specials as well.

RoRo’s in Georgetown was scrumptious! My husband and I stumbled in here after a bad Urban Spoon spin at an eatery nearby. We both loved our food. I had the pulled chicken sandwich. It had great flavor. It was served on an ever-so-soft white bread roll along with a side of my choosing. I got the cole slaw. No complaints there. My husband got the Pulled Pork sandwich with Mac & Cheese and Mashed Potatoes. The pulled pork was served smashed with Cole Slaw. It was delicious. So delicious that I convinced him to split each of ours and share. Yum! They provide 6 types of BBQ sauce. From hot and spicy to sweet and savory. I enjoyed them all. The service was exactly right. An older woman came by and greeted us as soon as we sat down while a younger woman picked up the service. She was also very enjoyable and gave us the right amount of service. We were surprised to find such a great BBQ place so far from home. When we make it back to Seattle we will definitely make it back by!

I am a huge fan of pulled pork sandwiches. This place serves the best pulled pork sandwiches I have ever heard. Very tender and flavorful. Their special sauces just make it legendary. I eat here at least twice a month just because this is literally the best place to get your meat fix on. I tried the BBQ sundae recently. It sounds disgusting, but reading the ingredients… sounds like heaven! It’s just a layer of pulled pork, brisket, or pulled chicken, beans, and coleslaw. It’s to die for. Their side dishes are all good. I have yet tried their succotash, but heard great things from everyone at work that it is the best thing they have ever tasted.

I have to say I like this RoRo a lot better than the Stoneway location. Its nice that they have a bar and beer on tap(I think only bottled at Stoneway) and the same bbq and all the sauces. A friend lives in the neighborhood and has enjoyed coming and chatting it up with the RoRo people… although I have found better bbq in Seattle, its consistent, and both locations don’t tend to be crowded, which is nice to know you will get a table.

I’ve gone to this little place twice now. And both times I’ve a pretty darn good BBQ sandwich. A friend of mine introduced me to RoRo’s and I’m glad he did. It’s located about 100 feet away from the north end of Boeing Field. The interior of the place is nothing too exciting. Just some basic decorations to make it fit in with the Georgetown vibe. RoRo’s is a small little restaurant. Half the seat is chairs the other half uses bar stools. One person mentioned that there was no air conditioning in the place, but I can’t verify that. Like I said nothing fancy, so you don’t need to have you tux on to eat here. Once you enter the restaurant just find yourself a seat. The service there was pretty good. The staff was friendly and easy to talk to. The menu had BBQ sandwiches, but also included burgers, and some other foods that I don’t remember at the moment, cause I must be getting old. :( I’ve had the BBQ pork sandwich and the BBQ tri tip sandwich. Any sandwich that you order will come with 2 sides. The BBQ pork sandwich was good. It had a tanginess to it. The sauce was the right consistency and a little heat to it. The pork itself was tender and moist. The BBQ tri tip sandwich I had was also good. It was slices of BBQ beef on a bun. The beef wasn’t over seasoned. It was also moist and tender. The only garnish they put on the tri tip as faras I could tell were some onions and a bit of horseradish. Nothing fancy about either of these sandwichs, but they were tasty. If you happen to find yourself in Georgetown and heppen to being a raving lunatic, because you’re hungry then give this place a shot. Happy eating!

I have no clue how they can afford to offer their outstanding«park-alepeno» sandwich on the happy hour menu for $ 5.00. I also haven’t figured out which of their six sauces I prefer, or whether I’ll settle on the brisket or the pork as my go-to usual order. All I know for sure is that I wish these guys were here on Capitol Hill.

We were so excited that BBQ had come to Georgetown. After passing this spot everyday taking my wife to work, we finally bellied up and had a date night. The place itself has an eclectic ambiance with no-frills décor and casual atmosphere, which we enjoyed. The first thing we noticed was there was no air conditioning on one of the hottest days of the year — 90 degrees plus. It was so warm in there, that we waited outside while our dinner was prepared. However, the service was friendly and prompt, as our meal was ready in 10 minutes. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and the beef brisket sandwich with sides of corn bread, sweet potato tots, coleslaw, and baked beans. All of these were fine –as far as sides go. Both the main dishes(our sandwiches) were sadly overcooked and dry and lacked any real taste of smoke or char. They tasted as if they had been put in a microwave and forgotten. For each bite of the meat, we added the bbq sauces(6 on the table) to add some needed moisture. We thought, «how can the sides be better than the entrees»? With only five other people dining in the place, the cook should have plenty of time to focus on the grilling. It certainly was not fresh off the grill. I am amazed that the ratings of the food are so high here — I thought we had walked into a different restaurant. If high reviews continue, I MAY have to try it again as perhaps I went on a bad night.

I have eaten at Ro Ro BBQ on Stoneway probably ten times in the last two years and everytime my food has been excellent. I live in Bellevue near I-90 and I have now been to Ro Ro BBQ on Albro five times in the last two months. I can get to the new location in under twenty-minutes. I love the ribs, fries, pulled pork, pulled chicken and brisket. In fact to be 100% honest I love everything that I have ever eaten at both Ro Ro location. The staff is friendly, the service is good and the food is excellent. Try it once and you will be back. Look around you might see someone you know. The word is out on Ro Ro BBQ.

What a nice surprise to find that one of my favorite bbq joints in the NW opened a new grill in Georgetown! I just happened to see it today and had to stop for a pulled pork sandwich. I like that this new restaurant has a little more seating, although the parking is still atrocious. The chick with all the tattoos who I believe was the manager was very friendly and she sat and BSed with me while the other girl was making my sandwich. The pork was the same awesomeness that I have come to expect from the Fremont roros, very tender and the sauce choices compliment it nicely. I gave the Fremont RoRos 4 out of 5 because the service can get pretty lousy when they are busy, but I think the Georgetown one is worthy of 5⁄5 stars. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area,
