Went in before 7am to grab a bottle of water. There was a line of 3 people ahead of me and it took 8 minutes to get up to the counter. Now, I love friendly register folks but she was a bit too wordy with her friendliness. The store itself? A bit tight but a nice selection of products at a steep, inner city price.

Black ppl beware racist loss prevention profiling and slip and fall dangers. So I moved to Belltown, work at Akamai after 14 years at MSFT, just so you so know that I’m not a shoplifter or a criminal. I had no complaints about this Rite Aid for 5 mos so, the staff has always been helpful and friendly. Something changed in the last 2 weeks, 2 weeks ago I go in this Rite Aid theres a cart with some tool cart on the last aisle I had to move around, what I did not se was the floor vent to the frezeers laying across the floor. I twisted my ankle and it hasn’t been the same since. Rather than sue or make a big fuss about it I informed the mgr. a bout the danger of laying floor vents in the freezer aisle while the freezers are being worked on. I dont think they did anything about. My foot has not been right since. Today I went in there and promptly got shadowed by some new white loss prevention specialist. I promptly asked him to stop after asking if he worked there and whethe he likes following blk ppl sround the store. He laughs in my face and says I watch blacl ppl in the store going down certain aisles. Unbelievable. Apparently some new blonde skater types kid from the brosdway store. I realize they may lose some property but ppl should be treated with human diginity. Maybe I should follow through with the lawsuit and contact corporate.

This is my favorite pharmacy for medications and those few items you just need to pick up quick. The employees are wonderful, always willing to help without pressuring you or making you feel uncomfortable. Though the stock is limited and selection is light on food and sundries, you usually find something you need. This is also in downtown not QA.

I sent this letter of commendation to Rite Aid Corporate– June 16, 2014 This is a letter of commendation for Mike, floor supervisor of your downtown Seattle Third Avenue Rite Aid(802 Third Avenue). Mike is an extraordinary example of quality customer service for Rite Aid stores everywhere. Many could learn from his exceptional customer care. Mike is an outstanding floor manager, the likes of whom I’ve not seen since my dad, who became the youngest regional manager of Jafco/Best Retail Stores during the 1980s. Dad believed, instructed, and stood by the fact that a store flourishes or fails based on the quality of its customer service. Many managers are decent people, but not all decent people are effective managers. I know an effective manager when I see one, and Mike is the real thing. I think it stems from his genuine humility as a human being, but this is all just my opinion. Nevertheless, I’ve watched Mike over the past seven years, and his commitment to first-class customer care has never wavered. Mike puts Rite Aid’s customers first. His particular store runs efficiently on half the staff of any other Rite Aid its size. He is always busy doing something necessary to make the store run seamlessly: stocking shelves, doing inventory, cashiering – yet Mike is quick to stop what he’s doing to listen to a customer’s inquiry, assess that customer’s need. and personally solve any problem that customer may have. While shopping the Third Avenue Rite Aid last week, I happened to speak with Mike for a moment. He mentioned the store will be undergoing a remodel of sorts, and he might be considered for the assistant manager’s position. I was bit surprised, for I’d thought Mike has always been the store’s assistant manager. In case he’s not already, I think Mike should be groomed for Rite Aid Corporate. Losing Mike to the corporate echelon would be a great loss to Rite Aid Third Avenue, but a tremendous gain for Rite Aid Regional, because he could seek, train, and oversee more Rite Aid associates like himself. I’ve shopped Rite Aid around the country, and many Rite Aid employees could benefit tremendously from Mike’s outstanding, first-class, customer service ethics. In my experience, managers generally hire like-minded employees. Rite Aid could benefit greatly from Mike’s leadership with his exceptional customer service values. this review is for the pharmacy. Jessica is the pharmacist there, and she goes out of her way to make everything super easy for you. She handled getting my prescriptions from my previous pharmacy, and was very knowledgeable. they can also have auto-texts sent to you when your prescriptions are ready! she’s super sweet! highly recommend.

Small. Fairly organized. You’d probably find what you’re looking for if you’re in city and need something random.

Rite Aid is really unpleasantly lit, but they have pretty much e’rythang EXCEPT no damn soy milk! The staff is very helpful and the clientele is colorful. I came in for some vitamins and the police were looking for a woman who’d tried to beat up a pharmacist with her high heels and threw a bag of raw chicken breasts at them. So… yeah.

6 years and counting! I go to this store at least once a week but let’s be honest, I go there more like 8 times a week(sometimes multiple times a day). Staff — All of them are VERY friendly and very helpful. Products — Whether I need to make photo reprints, pick up a pint of milk, birthday card, or a glue stick — they’re got it. And, with the rewards card, I often get 20% off regularly priced items. Pharmacy — Is it a bad thing to be on first name basis with your pharmacist? Yeah? My bad, don’t judge. The pharmacy staff is excellent!

This is a city Rite Aid no question the shelves are higher than normal and you feel kinda packaged into the place. You pick up what you need and go… this is definitely not prime location for chatting with you friends looking at the crazy things people buy but if you need a bottled beverage or some gum this will indeed do.

This Rite Aid used to be my drugstore of choice when we lived closer to Pioneer Square and the ID. It’s a tad ghetto and not the biggest Rite Aid ever, but the sales cannot be beat. My main memory of this store is that there was a cashier who would top Mother Teresa with patience. I saw her put up with some of the craziest and most annoying people ever with truly the demeanor of a saint. It was impressive. Anyways, I recently needed to go to this store for a skincare brand I can’t find anywhere else(still bummed that the 4th Ave store closed). I was upset when I found that Rite Aid doesn’t carry Alpha Hydrox anymore, but at least the employee I asked knew what I was talking about and even remembered the packaging of the product I needed. I left empty handed but on my way out saw the Saintly Cashier. Which means she’s worked there for years now. She was even joking around, which she never used to do, so Rite Aid must be a good place for her. Who woulda thunk it? This is not the grandest drugstore in the land but may be the only Rite Aid downtown and the staff is generally helpful. A pharmacist once took the time to explain something about decongestants to me when he probably had better things to do. This store is located on a big hill, making it not quite wheelchair(or killer heels) friendly if you’re not already on 3rd Ave.

Okay, so apperently in other states(California) perfectly reputable stoes have security gaurd– not so in Washington. In washington a security gaurd means that either: A. There is a lot of exspenive stuff or «important people» who shop there. B. The place is cracked out lousy with shop lifter and other criminals. This one actually looked like a cop– so if it’s a REAL police officer– you know it’s bad. I can be fairly geographically challenged when it comes to some places– but I remember where I went this time. I have the right place. I saw about twenty shop lifters in five minutes. The cop got them all out– but really, seriously? Good lord. The reason that this is not a one star is because I got some cool organizing boxes for five dollars. Rite aid has tones of cool stuff. When they use underage Chinese/Indian/Pacific Islander/United Arab Emerites/Jordan/Taiwanese labor they pass the savings onto YOU! I also got some make-up and as always rite aid has good pricing.
