My roommate and I lived in one of a number of apartment complexes owned by this company. While the apartment itself was in decent condition, and the property manager was always expedient and helpful, my opinion of the company and its owner dropped severely after we moved out. The owner ended up taking $ 420 of our $ 500 deposit because it apparently took him 21 hours to fix maybe a dozen or so spots on the walls where we had spackled and painted over. What really upset me was that he had the nerve to describe his deductions in a very underhanded and insulting manner(apparently, the walls were«crudely spackled»), which just added unnecessary insult to injury. So, although I’m sure almost any landlord will make sure to keep as much of your deposit as they can, this guy probably won’t be nice about it either.
