Puget Sound Senior Baseball League

The PSSBL — Puget Sound Senior Baseball League — is the largest adult amateur baseball league in the northwest, and one of the best leagues in the country. The league started in 1989 and is going stronger than ever with 9 Age/​Skill Divisions and over 65 teams.
Most of us that grew up playing ball stopped playing after high school, and if you live in the Seattle Metro area there is no need to stop playing ever! This is real baseball, with curve balls, base stealing, etc. so you aren’t confined to the mother of all bad habits, slow pitch softball. All age groups from 19 and up are well represented, and there are 4 different levels of competition: Elite, Competitive, Intermediate, and Recreational. If you can play and are over 19, even well over 55, you can find a team and play real baseball.
Tryouts are every year in March, with the draft held in late March or early April. Dues are not cheap, but for the price you pay you get an entire spring and summer of playing baseball, competing and making friendships along the way. Even if you are rusty from years away from the game, you can drop to an intermediate or rec division to scrape off the rust and re-​learn the skills you forgot.
I’ve been in the league for over a decade, play 45 – 50 games a year, and wouldn’t trade it for anything. If you want more info check out the website or even message me, I’m always happy to introduce new players to the league!
