Promet Restoration

We have a Yamaha Digital Baby Grand. And with delivery came a chip in the lid. Tynis’ work was masterful. After the repair I could not find where the chip had been. He is the Mozart and Beethovan of piano repair. And a very nice guy as well.

Promet Restoration provides nothing short of beautiful work. We contacted Tynis to restore our century old baby grand. I was shocked when I saw the final product. Every piece had been carefully disassembled and meticulously refinished to produce a gorgeous outcome, while maintaining the integrity of the piece. I highly recommend Promet Restoration!

I decided to surprise my wife by having her inherited grandmothers 1930’s baby grand piano restored. Tynis/​Promet Restoration came highly recommended from our piano tuner and after a few discussions with Tynis and a more than fair quote, I decided to move ahead with his services. As this was a surprise, I needed everything from the moving of the piano, the timing of delivery and of course the quality of the restoration to be perfect (not to mention a bit stealthy to keep this from my wife). The final result blew away my expectations and ended up being a very emotional experience for my wife. His attention to detail was over the top! He was able to replicate the original color of the piano and apply the appropriate finish to a highly sun damaged and scratched finish that we had inherited. He also replaced/​refinished all of the hinges, bolts, pedals, felt, etc. because in his words…“it’s the right thing to do”. We couldn’t have been happier with the end result and would highly recommend his services to anyone.
On a side note, Tynis was also very helpful in providing me with a great piano moving team and coordinating with our piano tuner to refinish the hammers and overhaul the tuning mechanics. Outstanding coordination effort on his part and exceptional overall group of people that he can recommend to complete any piano project that you are looking to finish.
