The prior owner of our home installed Panda cabinets in our kitchen. I think they are the Manhattan — a modern style with flat panel doors and a natural maple finish. The install was about 4−½ years ago, in mid-2007. Quality of the cabinets is so-so. The cabinets are plywood and not particle board. The drawers have dovetail joints. Both are good things. But the door hinges have come loose — allowing doors to fall off. The hardware for the hinges and drawer glides seems cheap. Drawers do not always soft close by themselves anymore as they are supposed to. The drawer fronts are solid wood, but the cabinet doors are veneer plywood with glued on wood edging. Well the edging is coming loose in multiple places. Overall, I’d say the cabinets will probably not last 10 years.
