Prism Graphics

We needed graphics for our new boat. Prism Graphics did a great job with our last boat 15 years ago, so they were on our ‘short list’ to do the work for our new one. We did shop around, but at the end of the day, it was PG that had everything it took to put the deal together.
THE ROSES: PG used to be on Lake Union, but they moved to South Park, I guess for a bigger space and lower rents. These guys do graphic work for all kinds of vehicles, but they got their start with boats, and they do great work. Their shop is large, clean, and orderly. Our designer, Sarah, was able to set up our design while we watched; unlike a competitor (hello Graffix?), she had all the fonts in hand and was ready to rock & roll! She also had a great ‘can do’ attitude, and didn’t make us feel like every change of mind we had was an imposition on her (you can learn from these guys, Graffix!). They also have sufficient staff on hand to execute a job in the time desired (unlike some other nearby shops that do great work but don’t have enough staff to execute in a timely manner). While they weren’t the lowest bid we received, they were still very competitive, and got the job done for us when promised. They will also provide you with the files of your design so you can make things elsewhere if you want, but they have the means to do whatever you need in-​house; PG truly provides a level of ‘one-​stop shopping’ that competitors don’t seem to have.
THE THORNS: Honestly, none I can think of.
SO WHY NOT FIVE STARS?: Waiting to see how my graphics hold up over time; I reserve the right to upgrade this review.
THE VERDICT: Creative staff with a great attitude, and lots of experience with boats makes Prism Graphics a sure bet for the discriminating yachtsman. By all means check them out!

Prism has been an outstanding partner for us at Whidbey Island Race Week. As the official merchandise provider for our embroidered line of apparel, they have delivered superior service. Additionally, their graphic’s team helped design an event poster that was really cool. Having recently purchased a new boat, we trust that their vinyl graphics will be just as superior as their other services.
