Horrible Service, Unprofessional and Snotty Management team, bad food, lousy attitude and service! Its one thing to be have attitude but to be condescending and humiliating customers when mgmt messes up is shocking… dont expect the manager there to listen when his team messes up coz he just passes the buck and throws his hands in the air saying too bad with his ever so cocky and egoistic, arrogant attitude! People please read all the reviews before ever celebrating or organizing a party there! I have had 2 friends who organized a party there and both got burnt! If u read, u will realize there are many who had similar expeiences! Worse is these people humiliate u and make u feel like crap even though its them that mess up! There are plenty of upscale lounges… unless mgmt changes… No one should tolerate the mgmt and service at PNK!

Came once for brunch with my family on Black Friday, and had a decent lunch. The waitress was helpful in trying to help my aunt find food she can eat(she has a lot of food allergies) and was politely apologetic when the kitchen made every single dish incorrectly and included the ingredients the waitress had so patiently told my aunt she could get the food without. Flash forward a few months, when I took my boyfriend here for an early dinner before catching a movie. Bad idea. They had eliminated sushi from their menu, but the tables were still set with sushi accouterments.(Our waitress said the sushi chef had only recently departed and the menu was undergoing changes. I can only assume he quit in shame.) We made do ordering a few appetizers, which were edible but over-priced. Honestly, when we saw the menu(and lack of sushi) we were considering walking out, but were ultimately too polite. Another young couple came in, looked at the menu, and bolted while we were there, so we should have just followed their lead. Aside from that couple, the place was completely empty. Bottom line: Don’t go here for food. I’m not sure why this place is open during daylight hours, since it clearly just wants to be a night club.

Why bother, party of two? Your table’s ready… Welcome to dinner in the mall space where restaurants that try too hard come to die. And with some reason, in Pink’s case. The service was inattentive and slow(though not unfriendly), and the food was a poor use of calories — one dish altogether without flavor and two others whelmed under waves of overpowering, heavy sauces. Sorry, Pink. It’s not me, it’s you.

*This review is for the bar area, HH and dinner only — not for the club or lounge* Hubby and I came here recently on a Tuesday at 6pm. We sat at a booth in the bar area and were given the HH menu, which was quite extensive. I must say, the place is gorgeous: phenomenal ceiling treatment and lighting plans, intimate booth seating — very hip and cool. The place was nearly empty and service was quite attentive. Our waiter was also our bartender, and I got one of the best martinis ever. And the food was wonderful! Hubby had the chicken misoyaki, which he said was fabulous(and a freat value for $ 18). He also said his spinach salad was one of the best he’s ever had. I had a wonderful seaweed salad(the texture was amazing and the dressing was SOSO good!), and steamed mussels and clams(I loved it. Could have had a few of these dishes, in fact!). Hubby had the red velvet dessert, which was inhaled, and I had a great cup of coffee. My only real gripe would be that the seaweed salad was advertised as «seaweed and shrimp salad», but there was nary a shrimp in sight. Not a one. I asked the waiter about this, and he inquired with the chef, later telling me that they were all out of shrimp. Would’ve been nice to know this before ordering, or had the establishment charge less for the shrimp-less salad. Oh well, the rest of the meal was super, and the ambiance, fabulous.

Came in for happy hour and the only spots open were along the«outer rim» of seats at the center bar area. While other chairs got to face actual people or a sports game on a nice tv, we got to face… a wall. What a design flaw. After waiting for several minutes with zero acknowledgment from any waitstaff, we just got up and left. Terrible service. Also, what’s up with the whole restaurant anyway? It looked like a lounge that belongs in the middle of a hotel in Vegas, not the top floor of a tourist trap shopping center. Not into it.

We came for some drinks and food at 6:30 on a Friday evening. It wasn’t necessarily too busy and there were plenty of servers/bartenders available. My party arrived and waited for the tables to be cleaned so we could sit at an available table. After being seated, our waiter came to us with water and didn’t come back for 10 minutes to give us menus. We should have know from the beginning that this would be a disappointing experience and would only have our time wasted… After a while, we got our menus and were waiting for another 20 minutes for him to come back to us to take our order. The most irritating part of all of this was the fact that he would keep going to move the table setting on other tables over and over and other waiters would walk past us and could obviously tell that we were ready to order but would ignore us then keep walk past us. Minus points for super slow service and lack of teamwork among staff. After taking our orders, we waited for another 10 minutes for our drinks to come to our table, only to have our martinis come back in an awkward glass(something between a shot glass and a rocks glass). He sheepishly mentioned that the bar had run out of martini glasses and that with these we get more alcohol. Okay, we’ll take it… The drinks came on black paper napkins that looked like they had been once-used before us. We then proceeded to wait, and wait, and wait for our food orders to come out, while other tables were getting theirs and we were still waiting, glasses empty, awkwardly waiting. The server kept reassuring us that it would be only a second. Time passed and we were aggravated that we had only 10 minutes left before we had to leave to go catch a show at the Paramount. At the end of our hour and a half-long experience here, of our 4 orders of food, only one came out. Out of this bad experience, the only redeeming factor was that the waiter charged us for only one drink. Thanks, but we will not be coming back here for food again.

Did not go for the club scene, but the sushi and appetizers… was pleasantly suprised that they extended their happy hour till 7p.m. Took my 12 year old son and we are from Kauai, and he wanted sushi before our movie… We are very picky with our fresh fish and sushi, and we were really happy with everything… there house wine was only $ 4 as well, and there array of different types of apps were great! Even went back for another night of sushi because it was so good… Great server too, super friendly and accomodating! Believe her name was Sheri?

2012 Review #247: I would like to direct everyone to go to the PNK Restaurant and Ultra Lounge(WTF is an «Ultra» Lounge?) page on Unilocal, and look at the review breakdown. It is like a perfect pyramid of reviews, with just a tiny number of 5 stars, and a healthy foundation of 1 stars. It’s a pretty great example of Positive Skew, for you statistics-files in the audience. Anyway, the ONLY reason we came here was because Amazon, Joystiq and Gearbox threw a PAX party and it was free. I cannot believe there is an «Ultra Lounge,» or a club that dare call itself an Ultra Lounge, in a mall. A weird, spiral-shaped mall, that hosts this Ultra Lounge on the same floor as a Gordon Biersch, right over a Gap. Very little about one-stop shopping says«Ultra» to me. Anyway, we got in really quickly and got our wristbands. We had just missed the open bar, but apparently the floor got its fair share, because it was so sticky I actually walked out of my shoes. We made our way to the bar, or one of the bars, only to find out that only 1 of the bars serves draft beer, and apparently that’s all they sell. We were at the non-draft beer bar, so we got 2 vodka drinks with mixer– one well, one not. It was about $ 20. I know places in this area and in a mall(So weird!) are going to be expensive but come on. The bar was 5 people deep and I am completely convinced the only reason we were served is because, well, it was a gaming party so I was one of 3 women. Although the idea that gaining altitude contributing to faster drunkenness appears to be a myth, I have yet to find any evidence against the idea that dropping altitude means you can drink more. So, either I totally proved that one can drink forever, or the drinks were super weak. I could taste alcohol but could not feel it for the life of me. Could have been our loss of a mile in altitude, or well, it was probably the drinks. I think this place wants, really hard, to be in the Cosmopolitan in Vegas. But unfortunately there’s just not enough pink dangling crystals in all of Washington to turn this Ultra Lounge into a bar worth taking the escalator for.

Haha, can you say Asian town??? Oh gosh, after all the talk about how nice it is, how gorgeous it is, etc, I thought«why not?» since my friend was having her birthday here. Oh gosh, nice 1 time appearance, but never again. People who know me, know I hate places that is crowded with Asians. Why? Because 1) I am not attracted to Asians 2) Most Asians I’ve seen out, do not make good dance partners 3) Although there is diversity among Asian groups, there is not much diversity outside the Asian culture. Does that make sense? Sorta, okay. So we arrived(3 of us) around 10:20PM. Get in line, and wait about 5 minutes or less. Yes, we were on the guest list so we didn’t have to pay. Thank goodness. Keep in mind – there is no re-entry so buckle up for the whole time. We enter, and yes, it is lovely with the bright lights, amazing floor layout/décor. The bathroom has an amazing bar, well not amazing, but a bar that draws my attention. There’s couches, mirrors, and about 4 drinks of options that are served in small cups. Very small and are about $ 4. Ehh, the lemon drop wasn’t bad but not worth the price. The center of the venue has the bar and off to the side there’s another bar, then the small dance floor. By the windows are a view on the side porch thing, and the reserved tables/VIP section. I thought the drinks were expensive, and very small. Not worth it. Music was okay. Bartenders are nice thought at least(the men and women). Overall, I would never come back. If you love Asian women, have a fetish for Asians, come here. You’ll be in heaven, no joke. Literally, 95% Asian, 5% White, Black, and others. No thank you, I’ll take my love for diversity elsewhere. Oh and you still have to pay for parking when you go to the club.

Can I please give negative stars? I have never been surrounded by more pretentious people in my life. PNK takes all the seating areas and makes them roped off«VIP» areas. Leaving little to no space for actually common area and therefore a completely packed and hazardous dance floor. By 11:30 there were already girls puking in the bathroom and by midnight the women’s lounge area was full of «I’m-drunk-off-my-ass-can’t-stand-or-even-pull-my-dress-down-to-conceal-my-thong» girls. If your plan is to pick up some scantily clad pretentious broad — this place is for you. If not steer clear. The drinks were overpriced and the DJ sucked(feedback? Really?). I’d suggest heading to Belltown or Cap Hill or for the love of God even Pioneer Square instead.

Setting: –Nice large space with cool lighting that made me feel like I was in a spaceship –Nice bathrooms. Cool smaller bar/waiting lounge when you go to the lady’s room before you get to the actual lady’s room where you p(iss)tfo Crowd: –Last Friday night: 90% Asian, 5% others with Asian fetish, 5% misc. I really liked how PNK is on the top floor of Pacific Place for two main reasons: 1. No waiting outside in the cold/rain/snow 2. After I got kicked out for being too happy and puked inside the bathroom, I was able to puke my way all the around the conveniently located trashcans/bathrooms located inside of Pacific Place floor by floor. The abundance of outlets for all my partially-digested dinner/drinks helped me avoid puking all over myself/in my friend’s car.(Disclaimer: I usually have an amazing everclear-trained-tolerance, but for some reasons I always lose count and stop holding my liquor in Seattle) One thing that was inconvenient regarding PNK’s size: I lost my drunk friend. Thank god I found out that she’s alive after I woke up the next day. It turned out she somehow made her way out of the club, threw up in the Pacific Place parking lot, where security guards found her and made her sit in a wheelchair before she got up and ran away from the mall popo like a crazy hobo, after-which her nice boyfriend miraculously picked her up. Fun times!

My review here is not of the food or restaurant, but just of the club. I came here for a birthday party celebration and boy was it crowded. Good thing they had reserved tables in the back otherwise there are just not many seats to sit around and just people watch. I don’t know what they would do if some emergency happened because everyone is just shoulder to shoulder which makes it very difficult to even move around to dance let alone trying to walk through the place. The drinks here are a bit pricey, but overall it was what I expected it to be. The amount of alcohol was kind of weak so don’t expect to get a buzz with just a couple drinks. I’m not sure if it is cheaper to just get a bottle service with a table reservation like we did or just order separate drinks for everyone. The DJ wasn’t very good as they played a lot of old songs and not anything to really get you in the mood to celebrate. I not sure if I would come here again as my first choice in trying another nightclub in Seattle.

When this place first opened, my friends and I used to people watch those in line while sippin on some beers at Gordon Biersche. Recently, I came here for a friend’s birthday and I actually had fun, but I would like to thank the pre-funking and the friends I was with. The venue is a decent size, where there was enough room to dance and move around. I like how there’s a complimentary coat check, but of course don’t forget to tip. Drinks are overpriced and not as strong as I would prefer. One thing that sucks is their no-reentry policy. My friend wanted to walk me to the elevator when I had to bounce but she was unable to. It’s not too bad of a place but it wouldn’t be my first choice to hit up for drinks and dancing.

Review this place again based on my most recent visit! A group of friends and I were looking for a place to hang out on a weekend night out. I suggested we try this place — now I regret it(sort of, not really, yes, i guess.) First off, we arrived a bit late, and were charged $ 10 per person — really? I thought it is ALWAYS free for ladies? I guess not. Oh and they don’t stamp you so you cannot really re-enter it for free… When we walked in, it was packed and the entire floor was shaking when you get closer to the dance floor. You almost felt like the building was gonna collapse at any moment. It was kind of scary! Then the bar area was packed and my friends and I did NOT even finish our drinks after ordering because the drinks taste horrible!!! And the drinks are WAYYYYYYYYYY overpriced! So my friends and I noticed that the DJ always changed the music right when it gets to our favorite part so that was disappointing! Also we witnessed SEVERAL(at least 3 or 4) fights broke out while we were there. Hmmm not sure if I want to come back here ever again.

Came here a couple weeks ago to check it out & see if I wanted to reserve a booth for my BD. The place is called PNK& the décor looked super cute so I fell in love with it just like that. Well, LOVEHURTS. For starters, yes it’s located inside a mall. I was able to look passed that with the amount to liquor in my system by the time we got there [= I was HAPPYCAMILLE. We didn’t have to wait in line or pay cover, great. I guess. The décor inside was LOTS of neon. I liked the IDEA of a 360 degree bar but good luck trying to get one out of 3 bartenders that are there. I waited 20 mins to order my drink but once I ordered it, he made it pretty quick. I keep seeing this bs saying«PNK is like the Vegas club of Seattle» WOW, I don’t know what clubs you went to in Vegas but I feel bad for you guys because obviously you can’t even compare this sad club to any clubs in VEGAS, no way jose! THEDJ killed it for me. & when I say ‘killed it’ I don’t mean in a good way. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor, step out of the elevator, look at the wall near where the buttons for the elevator are located. You see a heel impression, you can thank the DJ on Friday nights at Pnk for that one. Frustration was the word of the night when it came to dancing. You know your absolutely fave part of a song? Well, imagine the DJ changing it up right when it gets to your fave part. Now picture that for EVERY freakin’ song. The DJ couldn’t read the crowd ATALL. That DJ is the reason I don’t go to Pnk on Fridays. Yup, I said it. Okay, I’m done being mean now.

A club in the mall… how interesting. My group decided to check it out since there’s no cover on saturday night.(for girls only perhaps?) No line at 11pm. Spacious. A bar in the girls’ lounge so it’s like a girls only bar with huge mirror. Concept is pretty nice but too dark to see much… maybe thats why some of the girls there have make up that are few layers too much: P Overall feel of the place was kind of like one of those meat-market clubs. Girls were way too skimpy and guys were way too aggressive. oh… and if you feel like the floor is shaking… its not because you had too much to drink. it’s because it really is shaking from the bass!

Oh PNK– glorious PNK with a bar in the ladies bathroom! We are like classmates that get drunk together occasionally. or the coworkers that you hate but love going out with because-well it’s fun! Pros: Ladies are ALWAYS free! As a Seattlelite that lives downtown and starting to hate what our beloved«Belltown» has turned into, this place is a hide out, get away, a place I can just go and dance without having to wear a bullet proof vest. Cons: It is in the MALL! No club hopping option when you come here. Hence you come here to end the night, not to start the night. Also drinks. not crazy about drinks here. Maybe it is also the fact that all this meat-heads are always logged and standing by the bar ready to pick you up. Over all, I like PNK. Avoid Fridays, Go on Saturday. and just Have fun!

Came here with Kevin W. and a bunch of our friends… and well, I agree with everything that he wrote. PNK wishes it was in Vegas but obviously, they’re not… and maybe the décor inside is the closest thing in Seattle that slightly compares to Vegas, the service is DEFINITELYNOT. What’s up with the bouncers power trippin’? Really? We were standing slightly outside of Gordon Biersch and closer to PNK I guess and one of the guys was like, «You guys can’t stand here.» WTF? Who says? We’re in a freaking mall and you’re going to tell us that we can’t stand in a public area… that’s messed up. The drinks really are overpriced and the music is a hit or miss. I’m pretty over this place, to be honest… and who opens a club in a mall… really?

Worst DJ ever — painfully bad on a Sat. night, killed the dancefloor. horrible attempts at house, 80s, w/some spastic top 40 mixed in. Save your time from this waste of space until they secure some actual talent on the decks.

Music: 4 Setting: 5(or 2) People: 3 Drinks/Prices: 3 This is the new swanky night spot. It’s situated on the top level of Pacific shopping center. There’s a whole bunch of drama about this place. Example, we tried to get in three times, each time turned away at the door because the line was HUGE, but I think they did it just to get buzz, because it wasn’t full each subsequent time we got it. One of my friends got solicited by a madam, and a couple of cops approached him after he left to find out what she said him. This place also has the distinction of being the brightest place of all the clubs(they can’t close their windows that look onto the street). The advantage(as my friend points out) you’re pretty sure just how ugly people are(no beer goggles). The disadvantage is… welp, people appear uglier. Anyways, in summary, it’s a polarizing place. Some people love it, some people hate it. I like it fine.
