Interesting architecture and a great place to catch a show.

What an awesome place to hang out before a show at The Paramount. The club prices are reasonable and the amenities that come with the membership are well worth it. I came last night to enjoy a show and found that sitting in the lounge, getting some drinks and avoiding all of the chaos and the lines outside really outweighed simply playing general admission to get in. I also loved that you could stay or re-visit the club throughout the show in case you wanted another drink, in case you wanted to use cleaner, less crowded restrooms, or if you just didn’t want to see the opening act from your theater seat. I sat an enjoyed some snacks, hung out and chatted with friends and took my sweet time getting to my seat just in time for the main act. When it came time for another cocktail I opted to head back down to the club because the regular line for drinks was at least 50 people long. It felt great to feel so fancy!

So an awesome friend hooked me up with some Lion King tickets for Valentines Day which also gave me access to the Paramount Club that night. What was included? free parking? side door entrance where I had to deal with no line, and my ticket was also there ready for pick up. VIP treatment. And what’s this access to the actual paramount club downstairs before the show and during intermission. Where they have their own private bathroom(there will still be line during intermission, but not nearly as bad as the regular bathrooms), snacks catered by Tom Douglas(don’t be too wow’d it’s just cheese, crackers and sandwiches), AND a private bar. I’ve seen several shows at the Paramount, but this was the absolute FIRST time during intermission that I was able to go to the bathroom, order a drink, drink my drink, enjoy my drink, and have some snacks without feeling rushed and panicked I may end up walking in late back to the show throughout the entire process. I’m sure had I paid for the annual Paramount Club membership fee(or donation, or whatever it takes to be part of the club). My rating may change, but for the price I paid on my tickets and everything else included. How could I not give the Paramount Club 5 stars. ~G
