NW Wind & Solar

I just can’t say enough about the folks from NW Wind and Solar. Their bid was the best, and I must say their references speak for themselves, since they include some of the work on the all-​green Bullitt building at 16^th and E. Madison St. Dickson was my project manager and two of the actual workmen from SME electrical contractors were Josh and Jose. Everyone was just so friendly and informative. My project is on top of a 1650 sq ft townhouse and took 13 solar panels. As another reviewer noted, this is a super time to be purchasing solar because of the federal and local financial incentives, which will start decreasing after 2015 if the original 30% federal rebate isn’t extended.
The installation was completed yesterday afternoon and I must say it was a somewhat euphoric feeling to sit in my townhouse at 7:30 pm with the sun still out and to know that my townhouse roof was working for ME! (Not to mention trying to do one’s tiny bit for the planet.)
I don’t know how it can get better than NW Wind and Solar.

NW Wind and Solar installed solar panels on our roof in Nov 2011. They were very patient in helping us think through the options. They did a great job on the installation. They set us up well with Seattle City Light for rebates. Their projections of the power our system would generate have been spot on.

These guys are total pros! Take them at their word. I had then install a solar panel system for me. It was SO worth it! From the initial consultation with Terry Gilliland, their project lead to working with their installers, it’s been a cake walk for me all the way with these guys. If your in the market for a solar panel system do yourself a favor and call these guys first!
