Some might ask, what ‘is’ Congenital heart care? The answer prior to going here was«I don’t know either.» I was referred to see Dr. Krabill from my OBGYN after having an ultrasound that appeared to have some potential heart abnormality in my pregnancy. Dr. Krabill travels all over other clinics but I believe this is her ‘home’ clinic and this is the only location I’ve seen her in. They are on the 8th floor of the Nordstrom Tower in Swedish which makes it a little convenient(but also inconvenient as you pay so much for parking there). The girls who work the front desk are always nice and friendly but sometimes I wish that they’d be better about appointment times as a few times I’ve been called on day of to try to move my appointment. Usually we come for about an hour and it’s for a echo test. We’ve seen a few different techs each time since we’ve come quite a few times and most of them seem great and are nice. My only ‘dings’ on them is that they are always behind. Your appt is at 12? Ok, we’ll come get you at 12:10 and then still take another hour. I know doctor’s offices can tend to run behind but we usually have an appt time and it just always seems to fall behind at this office and any other office with an ultrasound or any sort of scan we need done. We still have to see Dr. Krabill for another few appts(which I had hoped to be done with as of yesterday) but she is a knowledgeable doctor who made us feel at ease and explained to us clearly what she saw and how to move forward with treatment. I would recommend her if you ever needed to go down this path.
