These guys are great and by the way there also in Tacoma. Two and a half hours for a new garage door opener installation. DJ the technician was just fabulous. They work fast efficient and true to their quoted price. No add ons no problems just good solid efficient work

Second time we had issues with garage door and Garrett and Adam (first time), were there the next day at the time designated. Both were extremely helpful and professional in their work. While it will entail parts to fix, we made appointment for the next day and Garrett is to bring part to totally fix garage and checked to make sure still under warranty. Definetly would recommend them.

Our garage door opener started acted up and it eventually just stopped working. I contacting Neighborhood Garage Door Service and they were able to send a technician over to the house pretty quickly. The technician (Fernando) did a good job replacing the garage door opener. The price is a bit high in my opinion, but overall I’m satisfied.

Broken door spring. My car was held hostage, but they were here the next day with the right parts and fixed it in about 45-​minutes.

My garage door came off its track and would not shut. I called Neighborhood Garage Door Service and they committed to coming out that evening (around 8pm) to make sure I was able to close it at night. They did a great job and advised as to the problem as well as future maintenance I could do myself. I would highly recommend.

I had a garage door opener that started to act like it had a mind of its own. I called late yesterday to see about getting someone to come out the next day. They were here bright and early the next day and I had 2 new openers installed in about 2 ½ hours. Our technician DJ was great and very courteous. I’ll have them install my 3^rd bay once it’s clear. I would use them again.

For all I know, they may do good work, but I suspect you’ll be paying more than you need to.
The story: I called them to schedule a service call after our garage door broke (torsion spring on a single-​spring system). On the positive side, they would’ve been able to get a fellow out very quickly. On the negative side, it was clear that they wanted to ‘gild the lily’ and get as much $$$ as they could from me (I guess they thought I was the typical hapless and helplessly inept homeowner who would be at their mercy.
They started by saying that to fix my broken torsion spring, they would first have to charge an $ 89 ‘diagnostic fee’, and then the replacement of my broken spring would be anywhere between $ 200 — $ 300. I tried to explain to the fellow that I didn’t need any diagnostic work, and that I knew damn well what was wrong with the door. All they had to do was come and change out the spring, but for this bunch policy was policy, and policy appears to be to lard on unnecessary charges wherever they think they can get away with it.
Anyway, I have tools, I’m not stupid, and while my time is valuable, I’m not going to throw money away. I studied on the Internet how to replace the spring, bought a replacement for $ 55 at McLendon’s hardware, and replaced the spring myself. Garage door works great.
If they’d have been willing to waive the ‘diagnostic fee’, I probably would’ve let them do the job, but their insistence on ‘gilding the lily’ really left me with a bad taste in my mouth.
Anyway, if you’re the kind of person who thinks nothing of paying $ 5 for a coffee drink when you can make it at home for less than a buck, These guys are probably fine for you. But if you want value for money, maybe not.
