I’ve known Darin Morrow for 10 years and every time I’ve needed healthcare concerning my right knee, he has been there to give me good, conservative advice. In 2005 I had arthroscopic surgery for a torn meniscus. Afterwards, I fell 3 times, twisting the knee. I knew I was getting darn close to needing a knee replacement. But… after talking with Darin, we came up with a better solution. His skill and integrity for 10 yrs now, have kept my knee in good condition and working great… not even close to needing a knee replacement. I highly recommend Darin.

I recently was referred to Darin by my primary doctor at the Polyclinic to assist me with my golfers elbow on both left and right elbows. I tried PT but nothing was working. Darin was helpful and very understanding in listening to my story.
We ended up using steroid injections into the joint and after a little discomfort, days later I feel like I never had a issue!
I couldn’t recommend him enough and I am going back to get my right elbow done soon!

He was really fast and at first I mistook it for efficiency. He quickly assessed the x-​ray and declared that there was no structural reason for the hip pain I had been experiencing and recommended PT. No mention of what could be causing the dislocations — in fact he said it is «very difficult to dislocate a hip» — which took away the only term I had for the sensation of my joint pulling out of place. No time to get more info or clarify as he jumped to the next step.
He multitasked taking history and moving through my range of motion and pain level. I had to stop in the middle of sentences to try to catch him before he moved on to tell him when it hurt. He said a «real problem» would have made it impossible to move my leg without intense pain. Well, it had been about a week recovery since the last dislocation, but he didn’t address that the pain could be worse when it was acute.
He asked me if I had questions while headed out of the room. I asked something quickly and at that point he was talking to me from *behind the door*. He then popped his head back in to say bye and took off. This visit took under 10 minutes. It made me feel he was brushing me off, as in the «it’s all in your mind» or your «pain isn’t significant» POV, and leaving it up to the PT to deal with minutia.
He laid out two options for PT, each 1 hr bus ride for me. Didn’t offer alternatives when I told him I’m carless. He said he would send a referral and they would contact me. (That was how his office handled my referral from my PCP.) One week later, no news so I called in and the receptionist said, yes, there’s a note on your file for PT, so go ahead and contact them. Uh, there are crossed wires here. I said that I had no info about who to contact and, also, didn’t know why I couldn’t just see any PT I wanted to under their referral. Reception agreed, and sent a note to their referral specialist to call and talk about closer options. (The support staff at Polyclinic orthopedic has been nothing but pleasant and helpful.)
I want to make it clear that I am not a drug seeker, hypochondriac, or worst-​case-​scenario attention-​getter, and like most women, I have a very high pain tolerance. I simply want the respectful attention I think physicians should give as a matter of course, and as much information as possible. Morrow gave neither.

Darin provides a pragmatic approach in utilizing healing methods. When you are in pain, you want the person you seek help from to hear you. Darin does an awesome job in active listening. He takes the time to make you feel that he will do all that he can to help you. His people skill are such, that you feel like you have made a new and kind friend. If you want the Nordstrom’s experience in customer service as well as sound decision making for your health and well being, go visit Darin. I would send those I love to him for help should they need it.

Likely competent, but arrogant. He clearly believed I had nothing wrong, tried to trip me up on timing, and announced «trick question.» Very offensive.

Darin came highly recommended and honestly he and his staff did not disappoint! I’m very active and my knee started giving me problems. Darin assessed the issue and explained everything to me thoroughly, gave me some options and made it happen for me. I’m not a huge fan of needles and before I knew it the procedure was over, painless! Super impressed! I would not hesitate to refer Darin and have been telling all of my friends what an awesome experience I have had.

I was having hip pain for several weeks and just didn’t know what was going on. I decided to see an orthopedic to find out why I was in so much pain. I made an appointment with Darrin and he took some xrays and let me know that my hip was in great shape and I just sprained it and due to my vigorous workouts I was just aggravating it. He gave me a prescription and told me to rest it and after a few days I started getting better and now my hip is in great shape!
Darin was very patient and knowledgeable and was very good at diagnosing my problem, I would definitely recommend his services. I was also treated very well by the front staff and the registration staff on the 1^st floor. The Polyclinic is a wonderful place and has great doctors.

Darrin is probably fine if you are a professional athlete. But I’m not like the famous soccer players he has autographed posters of in his office. After several appointments I continue to have troubling knee pain which, according to him, I shouldn’t have. His condescending attitude (he spoke to me as if I am a twelve year old) and poor diagnostic skills will keep me from every going back or recommending him. A friend warned me against him but I didn’t listen to her and now I have to start over with another hopefully better knee doctor.
