Mind’s Eye Tattoo

Well, first off, my husband got a rash after he got tattoos here. He has plenty other tattoos and never had a problem. I have been tattooed twice here and never had a problem with it but… the rash. They didn’t really have an answer as to why he got the rash and why it wouldn’t go away but regardless, that’s never a good sign.

Minds Eye… where to begin. Its either love it or go somewhere else. My friend got her tats done here, and was really happy with everything; the guys there were really nice, making sure she was doing alright and cracking jokes with the two of us (I was the taxi). Everything during the tattoo process looked sanitary and clean, guy changed his gloves and his work area was clean. Made sure said friend knew how to take care of her tattoo before sending her off.
I personally wouldn’t get a tattoo here: while the actual tattooing process seemed sanitary and measures were made that everything in the immediate area was clean, the lobby and other rooms were filthy. Call me high maintenance, a princess, or whatever, but when I walked into the lobby, the dust and cobwebs in the back rooms and lobby, and the hardcore clutter in the autoclave room, initially made me question the sanitary-​ness. Thats just me, and thats why I’m still going to Cicada on Aurora (NOT a place in Bellevue, thanks). My tattoos are perfect, mucho gracias.

This is the grossist tattoo shop I have ever been in. As this was my first tattoo — I didn’t appreciate the nasty reeking of cigerattescomint from the lady artist that did my crooked armband.
Don’t recommend this nasty place to anyone!!!

I got my first tattoo here about 11 years ago and just went back for my 3^rd. I was helped by Stefan who was knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, and thorough. He gave me a better price than some of the other quotes and we did it that day (instead of «we can get you in next month, maybe.) We had a good conversation throughout the process and he did a great job. I love my tattoo and will be going back for more work in the future. Thanks you guys!
